- Pharrell feat. was mid.
- I understand the significance of the album and the impact that it had, but its not my style.
- Really love the first 3 tracks. - The concept of the album is incredible. - I love the skits in the classroom at the end of some songs. - Her voice is out of this world and she also raps well. - Overall its one of the best albums ever made.
Some songs are just a pain to listen to. Didn’t like the production vocals and lyrics on this album. I’ve got to give it a harsh rating because this rating expresses how much I enjoyed the album afterall.
I like this album and for anyone hating on this album: listen to the opening skit, my name is and role model again. He explains that anything he says isn’t what he or anyone should really think. In role model he explains how fucked up you get if you actually do those things.
The production is very weird but I kinda like it. I understand the hate tho because of the akward production and the aggressive rapping. However I like this aggressive delivery on New Slaves because it expresses his anger well.
Not my style, but the music still had quality.
Amazing album
It sounded pretty basic to me. Didn’t have an outstanding song but the album was ok in my opinion.
I could vibe to the mucis and I liked some lyrics but it got too repetitive for me and after 15 minutes it became a bit boring.
I loved the vocal performance as well as the rap performance throughout the entire album. I especially loved 101 FM. The length of the album was a little on the short side but that worked out perfectly because I could listen to it on the way to school.
Loved to hear a classic old school hiphop album again. Great debut album and really set the standard for what they would become.
This is just background music that would play if someone puts you on hold. The album wasn’t a pain to get trough so im that is why I won’t give it a 1.
I like the vibe of the songs but I don’t really like the way she sings. That might just be because I don’t really like country music so i’m still giving it a 3.
I like metal so this was an amazing album for me. Not much else to say.
I usually am pretty versatile but this album didn’t have any outstanding songs for me.
I wasn’t a fan of his voice never was, but the music was fine. RIP tho, I am not trying to hate on him. It just didn’t sound that good to me.
After a few days of mid albums, this was such a relieve. I liked the instrumentals and the way James Brown sings.
I don’t like it as much as others do but still a 3.
This is hard to rate for me because it used to be 18 tracks but now spotify only shows 3. The 3 songs where fine. I will give it a 3 just because I know there was some quality in the now deleted tracks.
I had a good vibe listening to the album. Overall would give it a 3.
I thought the agressive sound fit so well with the title of the album. Very good execution. There were no outstanding songs for me tho, so that takes it down a point. I want to give it a 3,5 but I will round it up to 4.
I really loved this album but not to the extend that some people do. It is a 4,5 for me but I will give it a 5 because of the impact it had on music and other people.
I didn’t like it I don’t really know what else to say.
Of course the opening is an all time classic, few to no misses and good music all the way through.
I liked it while I was just cycling to school. It was calming.
I found it pretty basic with no real special moments.
I totally get the high scores people give this but it just doesn’t fit with me that much.
I felt kinda bored during some parts but also excited and uplifted during other parts, for me that’s the perfect definition of a 3 star album.
I think this is a great album with a strong message.
Kind of repetitive but good music
This is the definition of a perfect album, only 0-1 skip. It did get a little weaker towards the end of the tracklist.
Just read the title man, the music was very calming but it doesn’t really belong on this 1001 albums list.
Didn't really hit me like other Beatles albums did. Still a 4 star tho.
Very fun album experience!
I don’t have Ph.D. in maths so this is one of my favorite albums.
I hated this one.
Classic, but musically just a low 4.
I don’t know how I feel about this.
I usually hate this, but the instrumentals gave it a few extra points for me; especially the outro, which I loved.
I loved the smooth and funky sound.
This was the most “yep that was an album” album I’ve ever heard.
