Popular Reviews

Another Green World by Brian Eno

very fun listen, kinda feels like listening to a fever dream. I enjoy finding things on this list I probably never would have checked out on my own

Cross by Justice

Elephant by The White Stripes
Feb 18 2026

cool and punchy but felt really repetitive. first 3 tracks kinda blurred into one loud song to me. seven nation army is iconic, cold cold night was nice, and ball and biscuit is prolly may favorite with some fun instrumentals. has some good hits, but not really a standout album to me. not my favorite but I see why people like it

bunch of good hits. The vocals are my favorite part. It was cool to hear bits where other artists took inspiration from their style/vocals. Pretty Vacant and God Save the Queen are my favorites. Im not completely blown away but I'd definitely listen to it again, or at least the hits

Ramones by Ramones
Feb 20 2026

fast loud and punchy. songs are suuper short and can get repetitive but I was too busy jamming to really care, also the cover is iconic

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Feb 22 2026

I honestly can't tell if I like it or not. Some of the instrumentals are really nice, but I did find it a bit hard to stay interested for the whole album. A lot of songs follow the same formula of just repeating one melody for 5 minutes and ending with a choir in the bg

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Feb 24 2026

42 minutes of my life i would happily relive, there wasn't a track I didn't like

Pump by Aerosmith
Feb 26 2026

groovin but also clutching my pearls

Life's Too Good by The Sugarcubes
Mar 01 2026

kinda reminds me of a mix of the cure and the cranberries and I'm really into it

Pearl by Janis Joplin
Mar 03 2026
Tigermilk by Belle & Sebastian
Mar 04 2026

such a cutesy sounding album, the trumpet is a fun touch

The Bends by Radiohead
Mar 06 2026

one of my favorite albums, every track is great. the bends, just, iron lung, and bulletproof are prolly my favorites

Green by R.E.M.

very fun listen, kinda feels like listening to a fever dream. I enjoy finding things on this list I probably never would have checked out on my own

Atomizer by Big Black
Mar 11 2026

very interesting listen, I honestly really enjoyed it. dunno how often I'll just sit and listen to this album cos it is kinda aggressive but it was really cool

Tidal by Fiona Apple
Mar 12 2026
Arise by Sepultura
Mar 13 2026

woah guys I think I like metal, actually enjoyed this a decent bit more than I thought i would. the instrumentals are really cool

Devotional Songs by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
Mar 15 2026

this guy's vocals are kinda insane, I can definitely appreciate the skill but unfortunately I am so not into this style of music

Mar 16 2026

very groovy, some very interesting instrumentals. not entirely sure how i feel about the freeform guitar. maybe a few songs could have been a liiiittle shorter but overall it was a pretty solid record and I'll probably listen to it again

Who's Next by The Who

Scum by Napalm Death
Mar 30 2026

I really don't hate it. the instrumentals are actually really cool, the the vocals do sound vaguely like a dog, bro is definitely not singing the lyrics on Spotify

Ellington at Newport by Duke Ellington
Mar 31 2026

objectively good music and good musicians but oh my this was a looong listen for someone who's only sorta into jazz

Apr 20 2026

I'd never heard of this guy before this list, this is the second of his albums I've gotten and im becoming a fan, he's got such a unique sound. it's kinda like listening to a surrealist painting or something

Born In The U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen
Apr 25 2026

never knew how many of his hits I knew, pretty solid album

Siembra by Willie Colón & Rubén Blades
Apr 26 2026

albums like this make this list so fun. salsa music is really not on my radar, don't think I would have found this unprompted, but it was such a fun listen

May 06 2026
Teen Dream by Beach House
May 07 2026

this album reminds me of a cutie little coming of age indie movie. I need to romanticize every thing and narrate my life in a sleepy, bored sounding voice all poetic like

OK Computer by Radiohead
Jun 02 2026

I might need to buy super nice headphones or install a surround sound system just to listen to this album again and be swallowed by really sick tunes

More Specials by The Specials
Jun 10 2026

I don't dislike it but im prolly not gonna listen to this on repeat.

Savane by Ali Farka Touré
Jun 11 2026
Caetano Veloso by Caetano Veloso
Jun 12 2026

ok guys i think I'm done with all the jazzy bossa nova

25 by Adele
Jun 13 2026

she has such an interesting voice but the songs and album as a whole is unfortunately just boring me

Jun 21 2026

I really like her voice but the songs can get quite repetitive and after 45 minutes its starts to feel quite so very sluggish. overall a decent album but I might have to take it in smaller doses and listen to songs individually

Catch A Fire by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Jun 23 2026

bros please I cannot do any more reggae

Welcome To The Pleasuredome by Frankie Goes To Hollywood
Jun 26 2026

I think i would've enjoyed this more if it was a little shorter, I like my heavy 80s synth in small doses

Jun 29 2026

I liked this one for the most part but it definitely lost me at a few points, maybe a week bit expiramental to listen to for an hour straight

Being There by Wilco
Jul 10 2026

not gonna lie, a little nervous going into this one seeing how many thought it was just wayyy too long and wayy too boring but one of my favorite bands is smashingpumpkins so im no stranger to an insanelylong album. I enjoy a lot of different genres and this album seems to incorporate a bunch of variety pretty nicely. I can excuse an hour ling tracklist if i can jam out to most of it

...Baby One More Time by Britney Spears
Jul 15 2026

oh so very cheesy and so very 90s but still a very entertaining listen

Fire Of Love by The Gun Club
Jul 17 2026

this was a really fun listen, I definitely hear the influence of a lot of other punk and post punk I've enjoyed

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Jul 19 2026

whole bunch of bangers

Live! by Fela Kuti
Jul 25 2026
69 Love Songs by The Magnetic Fields
Jul 26 2026

I think if this album were a reasonable length it could be a 3 or a 4 but there's just so much thats not quite good enough to be memorable. Definitely has some redeeming qualities but my favorite part of this album has probably been reading the reviews about it not the actual songs. probably could have cut this thing in half and I wouldn't have missed it

Rejoicing In The Hands by Devendra Banhart
Aug 03 2026

I really liked the guitar playing, not entirely sure about the guys voice but I dont hate it. really dont understand why so many seem to dislike this album so strongly

Horses by Patti Smith
Aug 04 2026
The Renaissance by Q-Tip
Aug 14 2026

I think one of my favorite things this list has made me listen to is hip hop. I don't think I ever would've listened to any hip hop or most rnb if I wasn't determined to finish this list, but now that I have I've been pleasantly surprised

Debut by Björk
Aug 15 2026
LP1 by FKA twigs
Aug 16 2026

kinda just a jumble of mildly unpleasant sounds with very ok vocals. the whisper singing isn't bad but it's really nothing out of the ordinary
