Love Zeppelin but this one was not for me. Take out Immigrant Song and this would get a 2.

After listening to the 10 seconds of the opening song I new this was trash!

Only know the ABBA hits which are great! Having never listened to an album in full this was a pleasant surprise.

I’m not a fan of the Gallagher brothers but this album blew up summer 95 in Australia. I was only a young man and this album rocked. I believe this album ignited the fuel of Britpop!

I really have this one a good go, think I got halfway before tapped out. Really uninspiring, another album that somehow made this list.

I’m 48 and grew up with Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Soundgarden. I knew very little of those grunge bands that came before them. Only discovered Screaming Trees in the last year and I love them, so this is a biased rating!

It’s the Beatles! I’ve never listened to a full album before and I only know the hits. Every song on this album almost sounded the same, a bit ho hum really. A 3 because it’s the Beatles!

Rubbish!

As a teenager of the 90s I was hugely influenced by the Seattle Sound! I never got the chance to see Chris Cornell live, for me he is the greatest alternative/grunge vocalist!

This album did very little for me. First few songs sort of ok, but went downhill quickly!

Nope, Nope, Nope! Surely a better album than this could have been found.

This album still bangs! I saw Green Day earlier this year, they played Dookie and American Idiot in full. Probably the greatest concert I’ve seen.

I Went out and grabbed a Zeppelin compilation tape that was on constant play in my car. A couple of songs from this album on that compilation. Brilliant album, one of the very best

I’m a casual Sonic Youth fan, I find this album misses the mark!

Bowie is a music god but this felt like Temu Bowie!

This was more like Lemon Juice, very sour tasting album!

The Cream is supposed to rise to the top, but not on this occasion!

I wanted to hate this album after the first song, but the more I got in deeper the more I started to enjoy it. Then I hit Card, did not know this was Numan’s song. I love that song!

Dropping the Garfunkel didn’t help this album!

As an Aussie I’m embarrassed to say I’d never heard of The Saints. To be fair I was only 2 yrs old when this album came out. I absolutely loved this album, it’s a funky/punky album.

Take a Load Off is good the rest not so much

As a teenager & young adult I loved Hotel California the song. Now more matured (in age only) it doesn’t have the same hold it had on me. It’s more of a nostalgic feeling when I hear that song. The rest of the album had a more nauseous feel to it. Extra star for nostalgia

A couple of good songs but I feel overall it’s a pretty mediocre album considering it’s the mighty Beatles!

I had low expectations with this album and I was correct!

It takes a great song to get me excited about ED music. Personally I didn’t find any on this album. Hard to rate cause I’m just not into this genre.

I thought I loved Van Morrison, until I listened to this whole album. Love Moondance & of course Brown Eyed Girl (not on this album), but this album was a bit same same!

I was 8 when this came out, very much into all things big that came out of the US of A (As were my friend group)! I loved I’m Fire (with no regard to its meaning) and I think it’s the best on the album. I was into Born In The USA but over time that has diminished significantly and I can’t stand hearing it anymore.

Absolutely love Common People, the rest of the album is a bit boring & repetitive!

Until a year ago I couldn’t have told you a single Pixies song. I discovered that they were an influence on some great bands, namely Nirvana. I listened to a random album before seeing them open for Pearl Jam in Sydney. I must admit that I was late in and only saw them play 3 or 4 sings. I just didn’t feel it. Then I listened to this album and it blew my mind wide open, what an album!

My mum passed away last week and I had 4 or 5 rubbish albums to get thru. Not really a fan of this genre, but this one just seemed to be what I needed and it helped put my soul at ease.

It just sounds all the same, not a fan but I’ll give it 2 stars because of Bobby McGee.

I have listened to this album only once before and I thought it was just ok. But listening to it this time round I’m in love with this album. What an intro Teen Age Riot has, just sets up the whole album nicely. Now this is a 5 star album and it couldn’t have come at a better time as I’ve had shit album after shit album I thought about quitting! Not now, thank you Sonic Youth

Is Suede considered Britpop? This album smells like it and it stinks!

I had never heard of Bad Brains until I recently discovered Kurt Cobain was a fan of their debut album. I really enjoyed this and then promptly added another album to my collection.

I was introduced to this album at 13 (nearer 50 now) and it blew my mind, in particular Anarchy in the UK. I ended up buying the album and must have almost worn out the CD. I am an Antichrist!

It’s a classic Bowie album

Another Heavy Metal band I really knew nothing about and for 30 years refused to listen to. This was banging, loved the guitar and drum work. I preferred Iron Maiden which I listened to only a week or so again, but looking forward to listening to more Megadeath!

I was confused that this album was already in my library, I had no recollection of listening to this album. After the first minute my brain jolted into gear and I recalled how shit this album was

I was 17 when this came out and I had a preconceived idea that Hole, more so Courtney Love was not up to scratch. My thinking was probably warped by the media and being a Nirvana fan I saw Courtney as the enemy. I only knew one Hole song Celebrity Sin, I refused to like it even with it being played over and over again on the radio. This album slapped me in the face so hard it factory reset my brain and I now have a new found love for Hole!

If Manson was really Kevin Arnold’s best friend I’d have given this 5!

This was the first Slayer album I only listened to 5 months ago. I loved it, it was hard and fast, just what I needed at the time I was in a difficult head space

I had never heard of John Coltrane until a year ago. I don’t even remember how I found him, I’m not generally a jazz fan. So I looked him up and played this album, I was blown away. What a beautiful peace of music. Don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t listen to this in the car but it’s great to have on in the background while prepping dinner. What a shame John was lost so young. I’m giving it 5, it is so much better than most of the garbage I’ve listened to so far.

I wasn’t into Jane’s Addiction during my teens (80s/90s) and I’m still not into them! Pretty, Pretty, Pretty Bad!

Another band I had no time of day for as a teenager. When Everybody Hurts came on our Video Hits channel I couldn’t wait for the clip to finish. Didn’t get the lyrics, fast forward 34 years and 10 years battling depression, I finally fucking get it. “Everybody Hurts Sometimes”. Oh and I now think R.E.M are sublime!

I listened to this album once before for some reason, I’m not listening to it again.

Not another Radiohead album. It all just sounded the same and Yorke’s vocals sound awful. How did he sing Creep & then proceed to produce this stuff!

As a 12 year old my favourite tv show was Tour of Duty. Paint it Black was the opening theme & it rocked. I knew nothing about the song until my late teens when I rediscovered Paint it Black. Now nudging 50, battling depression (undiagnosed & diagnosed) for 20 years this song slaps even harder. It’s easily in my top 10 of all time songs. The rest of the songs this album stink. It’s not a good Stones album. I’ll give it a 3 purely on the shoulders of Paint it Black, without it I could easily give it a 1.

He might be a great guitarist but he’s a shit human being!

Who doesn’t love them some sexy Swedes! Love Fool, great song but overplayed to death. I hear it now 30 years later and I’m numb to its greatness. Iron Man was an interesting cover, the band were metal heads. Apparently Ozzy said it was the creepiest cover of Iron Man he’d heard.

This was pretty cool, really enjoyed it.

I got thru 1 & 1/2 songs, absolute rubbish & so fucking annoying! People really like The Who, I don’t get them.

I know of Patti Smith but I know nothing about her music. Maybe she has better albums? This was rather dull

I can appreciate EDM & I enjoy some of Slim’s stuff but this album was pretty boring, I didn’t make it past 4 songs.
