'She's leaving home' brings me to tears every time.

One of my teenage faves. There is so much depth in this music, really bears a lot of repeat listens. And it rocks.
Brechtian showtunes, if that's your thing
This is such boring lazy music delivered without passion. I do not get the fuss with this band
on a couple of songs the band uses a synth sound that's the same as the chime I have for new email
old school rap was just better
a little sparse on the musical accompaniment for my tastes
The best funky indie band, maybe the only good one. I had this when it came out and didn't really get it, it's much better than I remember.
Such excellent simple songs
Perry says "daddy-o" in a song, so I cannot give this more than 2 stars
A couple of catchy tunes but otherwise a bit throwaway
Sludgy stoner classics with surprisingly jazzy drumming
Post Peter Green Fleetwood Mac take the most middle of the road elements of country and rock and combine them to make something blander than either genre achieves separately. Beautifully produced music for people who don't really like music. I almost gave this 2 stars for being better than Rumors.
Strong songs all the way through, and much poppier than some of their other albums. The best songs on this are Kim's I think.
Apart from the first song, this is completely insipid crap. A real waste of an orchestra.
Beautiful stuff but just so miserable
I don't really like the Who, but this is a great album. The rhythm section have something very special and it comes through so well on this. I also enjoy the folk elements that creep in.
This is too sassy for me, but I can tell it's good
Full of big singalong choruses about horrific war crimes set to bouncy upbeat punk. So good. Timeless stuff
A really good surprise, I'd never heard of this guy before. Experimental in a very listenable way, super well-produced like a lot of 70s rock.
My favourite of Kendrick's and maybe my favourite rap album. The musical arrangements are quality and he uses such a range of them on this
So Paolo Nutini just ripped off this old Italian guy then? Fair enough
A great storyteller songwriter with a really distinctive style
I know a lot of great music is made by people smoking pot, but these guys way overshot
I love Fela but this isn't his best recording and I'm not a big fan of what Baker brings to it.
Some great tunes on this but also some not so great ones
Some funky songs but a lot of corny songs too
This was only OK
Lou is a true rock star. He sounds like he isn't trying but the songs are these great gritty experimental things. I think he maybe invents punk music on this one
This was a pleasant surprise, a really tasteful combination of techno, western classical music, and Indian classical music. A really good chill listen to have on when I'm working.
Classic songs delivered with a lot of verve. Probably ripped off by most modern pop music.
This one has become a bit cringe over time due to the lyrics really being quite immature. Some great songs with massive choruses though.
This is a vibe
I love it but it's a bit front loaded. And Pantera are kind of cancelled now.
I get such nostalgia from this. I am surprised how well it holds up, apart from the lyrics really which are pretty angsty.
I think they perfect their style on this album, they keep everything simple but express a lot through playing style. Bluesy in a way most rock music isn't
this is the real stuff
If you ever thought you weren't good enough to sing for a punk band you should hear this
High quality stuff, all 3 Fugees bring their own talents but Lauren's voice is spectacular on this
a handful of banging tunes
I'm not a fan of Bruce's jazzy albums. Though a wonderful songwriter I feel like he doesn't have anything interesting to do with all those instruments.
This has 3 songs I think are brilliant but this style of music is not really my thing and I find it cheesy.
Stone cold funky genius
This one grew on me a bit but it's way too long
What a party album
I normally like pretentious whiny music, but this has way too many painful teenage cliches for me
Immaculate vibes. What a vocalist. I've waited too long to listen to these guys.
Not really my thing. Feels like horny easy listening music.
Feels like a 'best of'. Just solid quality songs that are fun and heartbreaking at the same time.
Some of these beats were great but generally this dragged for me. I'm not sure why this guy's lyrics are so highly rated.
'She's leaving home' brings me to tears every time.
Good prog. I appreciate the bass being so prominent in the mix.
Nice use of piano
Very pretty minimalist songs, a couple of really outstanding ones
The musicianship on this album is really basic, and it's pretty highly produced which I'm not into. In parts it sounds like Deftones, NiN, Filter, and other bands from the era but is less interesting than any of them.
A bit better than your average pub rock.
I'm not sure how much of a jazzman I am but I liked this apart from some of the meandering bass solos
Pleasant enough but pretty corny
I need to listen to this one a few more times
There's 5 good songs on this and then there's 19 others. Also, Ice is so emo, 90% of the songs are just him moaning about stuff.
Not very melodically interesting. I don't think I'm much of a lyrics person.
Great energy and what a drummer
Some really lush sounds and a couple of great songs but not as vital as his early stuff.
Has a lot of charm but the twee gets to me sometimes
Some of this album really slaps, and then at other times I find it a bit self-indulgent or corny. Amazing vocalist.
Some huge dancefloor hits on this, and I appreciate the funky bass throughout.
I just don't like 70s folk music at all
I listened to this while making my partner dinner and it made me all sassy, and i'm a man.
This is fun, a few bangers in there but the ballads aren't great.
This was too noisy for me. Noise rock can be like that.
Lots of riffs but pretty boring overall
This has everything, country, R&B, funk, rock, and the playing is top class throughout. Also Rod's vocals are undeniably great.
An excellent album. I knew most of these songs already but the way they are linked together in the album is incredible. The benchmark for metal albums, although it is probably just as much a rock album.
