Pre listen: I don't think I will like , have avoided due to vocal so far Post listen: Vocal was OK, like Rodriguez and see it's influnce on contemporary acts like foxxygen. I think at the time it would have been more exciting/ground breaking but to me it's a little dull. I gather they liked heroine from the lyrics

Pre: I'm Fan of organ blues/jazz I will like this and did want on vinyl at one point Post: don't need it on vinyl, did like it. Was a bit more pop and commercial sounding compared to Jimmy smith

Pre: love funky soul, have listend to other Mayfield and the 1st song but not the rest Post: great album, love the horns and grooves , fav track was so in love

Pre: I like rem not crazy about the slightly whiney vocal, don't know any songs on this album so will be cool to hear the non radio hits Post: I was wrong and did know a few songs, solid album but not compelled to go back to it

Pre: Don't know this album at all, is it rock, or like Kate bush and artsy? Post: it was both, artsy rock n roll with Jim Morrison influences

Pre: I like Peter Gabriel's music, I probably have heard just the singles from this Post: great production and prog like pop , whole album was great
