Great album! Then came the naked in the rain with the killer whale π....
Be class at dalby forrest after a smoke or in the hippy tent at glasto. I.was young when I got into them. Still got a soft spot for them, but music for witches, wizards and gnomes doesn't do it for me as much these days.
This album the BOMB!!
DIG!!!!!
For a live album is a solid 5! Sam cooke took zero prisoners in harlem that night.
Negatives never goes anywhere. Never lifts off the ground. Know stand out track (Least not on first listen) Vocals are way to quiet it was getting a bit annoying at times.
Positives i did enjoyed bits of it, and do think its a decent album that definitely deserves a second listen to appreciate it more π
Good album. solid 3, But as whole just not that interesting to me. Dont ever need to play it again.
Chicago rulesβοΈ
Great debut. The songs are a bit long tho.
Standard white boy blues/psych rock.
Never actually played any steely Dan before. Funky, jazz and very chill.
Thoroughly enjoyed it. βοΈ
The guys wearing a clock around his neck what more do you want?
HIP HOP CLASSIC!
Maybe being a bit unfair. Doest help when playing it at work. Just couldn't be arsed with this one.
Never play anything by them before.
Really enjoyed it. Reminds me of the grateful dead. Will play again.
Good album! Bit long at times..like LCD soundsystem?, but not sure id put another album on by them. Be class to see live.
Enjoyed it. A good album
Pretty forgettable thought.
Nice and chill! Enjoyed it, but will never play again.
3.5 really as I think Frank's a greatest hits man.
3.5 this! Never got this album just feels like songs that wasn't good enough for ziggy. 4 or 5 good songs, but the rest of it is meh. Its not very cohesive and let's spend the night together just doesnt work on this album.
Masterpiece!
Got bo rhapsody, love of my life and your my best friend on it. What more do you want from an album?
It Shows the best of each member of the band.Queen at their peak really in terms of in the studio.
Remember buying this and a day at the races together 21 years ago on CD and playing them for weeks.
A night at the opera is always going to have a special place in my heart β€οΈ
First 4 or 5 songs are really good, but starts to fall off towards the end of the album. 3.5 stars
A few nice songs on it mixed in with the usual filler and covers at the time. I can appreciate it, but as a album its not great. I can imagine most Elvis albums albums follow this patten in the 50s and 60s. I think hes best appreciated in a best of or greatest hits compilation; or even a late live album. Long live the king though π€΄
Couldn't be arsed with this tbh, but still think it is a good album. Soild 3!
Time after time is a good song but apart from u really struggled to get any enjoyment from the rest of the album....girls wanna have fun is fun i suppose
Yeah thought I was likeing it, but half way through i realised i dont know what hes on about in any of these songs.
Every breath you take is great and a few other songs were good but its just a hit and miss album. Open to hear it again and some point but for now a solid 3.
Was surprised how much I liked this!
Might be black keys best album! Not one bad song on it. Just really cool meaty garage blues.
Amazing voice! Killing it on this album. Soulful and bluesy! Janis is a trip man! βοΈ
Just a great 60s pop/psych concept album thats not ment to be taken seriously.
The who doing their version of radio caroline. From the cover to the adverts its just a fun album!
A record that was gearing up the for TOMMY bit unfortunate that its in the shadow of some their more famous work but with songs like
Armenia city in the sky, I cant reach you, sunrise and I can see for miles its still classic who album.
I think mr burns said it best when watching the ramones "have the rolling stones killed".
Record is decent enough! All songs sound the same though. Can imagine it was great when it came out. Ramones are okay π
More of a 3.5 really
Least favourite of the smiths albums
Dont really get the hype to this. Just alright innit. Maybe slightly better then some of the indie bands of the early 2000s, but still nothing to amazing. Dont need to play it again.
2.5 really
Like coldplay people like to hate on U2, but put that aside they are 4 or 5 decent songs on here.
The lyrics are rubbish though and the music is just bland at times. All in all its just and okay album.
If your checking out U2 for the first time this probably isn't the best place to start.
A good album could maybe even bumb up more stars with a few more listens. First half of the album is really good, but falls of slightly towards the end. A album that needs more then one listen to appreciate it.
Masterpiece!
A dark funk intense psychedelic eargasm!
More pussy to the power
power to the pussy.....
Weird one this for me as the band is not really my type of thing as i think they are pretty corny..
...But this is a cool and great album to be fair to them.
For a debut too its tight as fuck with banger after banger on it.
Not just one of the best hip hop albums ever, but one of the best albums of all time.
MASTERPIECE.
Give a brother a shot!
Hes succulent and outta sight man!
2.5 really
Was okay, but i just couldn't be arsed with it. Pretty forgettable.
Doubt ill return to it
Another masterpiece from miles!
My favourite jazz album from him
So cool!
Just a really good mature solid album by a band i don't listen to very much, but when i do always appreciate them.
Bones for you and grounds for divorce are great songs!
What can you say about it that hasn't already been said a million times before before.
One of the best albums of all time.
A timeless masterpiece
Great album! Solid 4.5!
Great songs and harmonies from four very talented singer/songwriters.
Some of the lyrics are a little dated now but not still not one bad song on it.
Stand outs are cut my hair, helpless, woodstock and our house.
Good album! Not sure i ever need to return to though.
Linda's song are the best on it. Richard songs kinda bring the album down a bit for me.
Masterpiece!
Tangled up in blue
Idiot wind
Simple twist of fate.
Come on the mans a fucking genius ....period!
Actually really enjoyed this!
Real good! Never played it all before was surprised at how much I liked it. Bet its a great album to hear live! So many bangers! Will be purchasing the record.
2.5 was okay I kinda like the 50s garage surf sound, but What the band is trying to do gets a bit repetitive though. Decent enough album I just dont need to return to it.
Good album better then I thought it would be!
Summertime rolls
Mountain song
Jane's says
Pigs in zen
All stand out tracks for me
Even at 14 i knew this was shite
Most of the songs sound the same
Just not my vibe!
Really good album! Definitely an album that needs to be played more then once.
Not really my type of crazy sexy or cool
Wild turkey chasing music. Hillbilly shit
1.5
4.5
Banger after banger on this album.
Meh... just alright innit didn't really intrest me all this
A generous 3
Like I do like dire straits well the brothers in arms album anyway, but this album is just meh innit. The actual the playing is really good. However the songs are just not that interesting. There is a few good numbers but all in all pretty bland.
Harmless safe dad rock...
Good album. A few more listens and could easy bump upto a 4.
Definitely need to play more talking heads.
4.5 real good album!
Never heard of them before but will check out more of their albums.
This album definitely needs a few listens.
Only downfall is that it's just a little to long.
Jimi innit its always goanna be 5 starts
Mehh was alright....bit bland at times. Dont need to revisit
A generous 3
a few good songs amongst some very weak tracks...obviously riders on the storm carries the whole album.
If they had a few more killer songs like that it would be a very good album.
Love CCR
but its just not that good of an album
Don't get why this one is on the list.
I did in enjoy this! Does really go anywhere but for what it is its a good album
Prefer their debut! Moon in june is great!
The rest is decent, but at times self indulgent prog jazz that doesn't seem to end.
Classic! Imagine hearing this in 1970 for the first time!
