Popular Reviews

Sail Away by Randy Newman

Unlike Colton, I did not listen to the lyrics intently. His voice does really remind me of Toy Story as well. I just can't see him popping off in 2026. No doubt he's talented and a different kind of voice and vibe. Which I think is a little sad that now there are formulas and algorithms to get the most out of musicians and thus people try not to be experimental or go off on weird voices like this. But with all that. I still rate this a 2.

The Kรถln Concert by Keith Jarrett
Jan 19 2026

3 for me is middle of the road. I do like that it was all improve. lot's of fast paced movements and showing off his skills. Really helped as background music while play a board game with family.

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Jan 20 2026

Didn't love the style. or the Voice. seemed lazy. I know lots of people that love Bob Dylan. But I am not one of them.

Violent Femmes by Violent Femmes
Jan 22 2026

Woof, So this is where the Whiny Emo bands got everything from. The lyrics from Add it Up? MAAAAYYY be a bit problematic... I used to think I was the kind of person that would listen to all types of music. This process has shown me that I absolutely do not listen to all types of music.

Brown Sugar by D'Angelo
Jan 23 2026

Very interesting, felt like i was playing GTA or watching an early 2000's movie. Not exactly my jam, but not terrible.

Dust by Screaming Trees
Jan 25 2026

Needed that album. It was a fun listen. I do wish the rating system was out of 10 and not out of five. but what are ya gonna do. Just a nice rock album that I haven't listened to before. None of the songs stood out. Just the general vibe.

Harvest by Neil Young
Jan 27 2026

I actually really liked this album. I liked when it brought in the Orchestra. It's not the preferred album to listen to when going through a breakup... just saying. there's definitely some feels.

Palo Congo by Sabu
Jan 29 2026

CONGAS?? HELL YEA. BANANA BREAD AT WORK?? HELL. YEAH. Such a fun listen. Reading through other comments It was funny about how divisive this album is. Maybe it's because I took percussion in high school. But man, those rhythms fucked me up in the best way possible. I would give it a 5/5. but I'm saving that for really special albums.

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Jan 30 2026

SUMMERRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTIIIME. Cool album, not my fave nothing stuck out. But I was also working.

Different Class by Pulp
Jan 31 2026

Some problematic lyrics again. But an alright album overall. Some good, some bad. Probably wonโ€™t listen to again. Skipped the last few songs honestly to get back to my heavy WUBZ. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Truth And Soul by Fishbone
Feb 01 2026

Hard metal? Ska? Who knows what it is. But I'm vibin'. I loved the first track and was expecting a more grungy metal album. But then it went ska and all over the place. Fun album. 3.5 stars. rounded up to 4.

If You're Feeling Sinister by Belle & Sebastian
Feb 04 2026

Do I actually like music? Or am I just a basic bitch that likes Taylor Swift, Melodic Dubstep, and.... and country? I knew there would be some albums I didn't fully enjoy. But this album made me rethink my whole life... Didn't even listen to the whole thing. I'm gonna go listen to some 2010's pop classics.

Blackstar by David Bowie
Feb 05 2026

So, I liked the first song Blackstar, but the rest was kinda blah for me. This was made in 2016 and I don't know why it made the 1001 most influential albums? I feel like whoever compiled this list was a contrarian. Or maybe I've just been in my own echochamber of pop, rock, and dubstep. .... ah, I see that he died two days after the album released. Which shouldn't bump it up in the ratings right? But that's maybe what happened. 4/10

Golden Hour by Kacey Musgraves
Feb 06 2026

Loved it, listened to it twice. I want to give it 5/5. but I just can't.

The Score by Fugees
Feb 07 2026

I didn't listen to the whole album. But I know Killing me softly with his song. So that was fun.

Smash by The Offspring
Feb 10 2026

Very angsty, really fun. I don't know if I can listen to a full album of the Offspring. just a song or two. But it was fun to see a secret track at the end!

Feb 11 2026

That was a BLAST. Exactly what I wanted from this list. It gave me good vibes like Styx, Boston, the classics. Really cool rhythms beats and just a vibe in general. I'll give this one a five star.

Third by Soft Machine
Feb 12 2026

Ummm... Ok. Feels like you had to be there. It's got some good beats and some good moments. It's just so fucking long that I don't think that any of the songs will be in the rotation at any point.

Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs
Feb 13 2026

I could see how this could be transformative and a necessary album if this was made in the 80's or 90's. But 2014?? This must just be the authors bias of the music tastes he likes. I swear, if we don't get one Taylor Swift album, I'm rioting.

The Cars by The Cars
Feb 14 2026

Jumped around and listened to 20 seconds of each song. Not my vibe. I did recognize Just what I needed.

Rings Around The World by Super Furry Animals
Feb 15 2026

Nope, a couple of goodish songs. But I can't take the voice of someone who sings like they don't care. Couldn't listen to the whole album.

25 by Adele
Feb 16 2026

Man... All I ask is a gut puncher. A great album overall. Listening to it while going through a weird breakup is... so fun. It's interesting that Send my Love is as popular as it is. Her voice is generational.

Is This It by The Strokes
Feb 17 2026

Just a very middle of the road rock record. I thought that it was made earlier than the 2000's. But I was wrong there.

Green by R.E.M.
Feb 20 2026

It might be because I'm half listening during work. But I haven't been jamming with the last couple albums. and looking at the future albums.. I might not enjoy them either.

After The Gold Rush by Neil Young
Feb 21 2026

Feel like this would be something that would be on the soundtrack for Guardians of the Galaxy. But just not my jam. would do a 2.5.

Fishscale by Ghostface Killah
Feb 22 2026

Nice

Elvis Is Back by Elvis Presley
Feb 26 2026

Probably was great for the time. Reminds me of poodle skirts and back to the future.

So by Peter Gabriel
Feb 27 2026

Alright

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Feb 28 2026

I liked the crazy piano

Hejira by Joni Mitchell
Mar 02 2026

Also eh

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Mar 03 2026

Ah, Mrs. Robinson! Another middle/lower middle of the road album for me. probs a 2.5. but I'll round up to 3.

Liege And Lief by Fairport Convention
Mar 04 2026

Really Digging Matty Groves.. .and the medley? Wasn't expecting much from this album. but it's a banger.

Rage Against The Machine by Rage Against The Machine
Mar 06 2026

Fuuuuuck me, such a good album. All the rage, all of the gritty hell yea I need from an album like this. I can FEEEEL every song.

Young Americans by David Bowie
Mar 11 2026

'Twas Alright, probably won't listen to it again.

Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Mar 12 2026

That was rad,

Mar 15 2026

Do I really need to listen to this album before I die? Probably not. It definitely didn't destroy rock and roll. And I could see how it would be transformative in the 80's or 90's. But having it come out in 2004.. there's so many better albums I could be listening to.

Mar 16 2026

I dug the City, Country, City for the last little bit. but overall won't be listening again.

Mar 17 2026

What an absolutely wild ride. TBH, I skimmed through a lot of them because I am trying to catch up and I know this album would take a lot to listen to and I feel like I got the jist. All of the collaborations? and Norah Jones at the end?? What a wild ride. I feel like for a lot of these albums, I would need to be in the right headspace and also grow up in the time and listen to the albums with friends to get the full experience. Not just blandly listen to them in my office with the blasted overhead lighting. But it was still alright.

Mar 18 2026

The Prophet's song was a standout. Such a good album and bohemian Rhapsody just takes it to another level.

Psychocandy by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Mar 20 2026

You Trip me Up almost made my ears bleed and I physically cringed while in my office while listening to this album.

Antichrist Superstar by Marilyn Manson
Mar 22 2026

I actually quite liked that. Not enough to give it a 4. But I really liked the Beautiful people. Also just goes to show societal views vs the actual music. and how we're all just humans trying to create cool shit and find meaning. Granted I haven't looked into anything in his personal life. But i know that maybe some sketchy stuff is in there?

The Last Of The True Believers by Nanci Griffith
Mar 23 2026

Could be good background music and if I'm in a really chill mood for reading or something. But didn't grab my attention fully.

Hotel California by Eagles
Mar 24 2026

One of my dad's favorites. And I can clearly tell why. What a banger.

Mar 25 2026

Weird, Schottkey 7th path has some Subtronics feel that he might have sampled from. But... forgettable and also background music.

Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
Mar 26 2026

Sexy... saving this for tonight. ;)

Mar 27 2026

Isnโ€™t he the one that Michael Jackson cringed at in the we are the world video?

Mar 28 2026

Very good, but It didn't have Eleanor Rigby, we all live in a yellow submarine, or some other classics. definitely loved the album and they're the beatles for a reason. But I can't give it a 5.

Devotional Songs by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
Mar 29 2026

Like Colton, I am an uncultured swine.

Out of Step by Minor Threat
Mar 30 2026

LOUD ANGRY NOISES

Siembra by Willie Colรณn & Rubรฉn Blades
Mar 31 2026

"They were dancing, drinking wine, making love!โ€ - Charles Xavier

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Apr 01 2026

Certified bangers, I canโ€™t rate it a five because sometimes his voice is grating, but the hits are absolute hits.

Skylarking by XTC
Apr 02 2026

Very forgettable album.

Stripped by Christina Aguilera
Apr 03 2026

I really thought that I would like this album more because Christina has an incredible voice. But I was just left wanting more. Sure, there were some jams. but I'd rate this a 6.5 or 7 /10. which is still in the 3 range.. I did save Dirrty tho.

Fear Of A Black Planet by Public Enemy
Apr 04 2026

I really enjoyed this album. Fight the power is a classic. But i did love the rythms. This urally isn't my sort of album, but I'll give it a 4. Was a fun listen.

Scissor Sisters by Scissor Sisters
Apr 06 2026

For some reason I thought that I would enjoy this album a lot more than I did. I just think of another song with a man with a high voice singing gibrish. I'll remember it sometime. Take your momma was pretty good though.

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Apr 07 2026

Really enjoyed this album. Yes, it is a little bit more boring and on the crunchy side. but his voice is so soothing and I did some really good deep work while listening to this album.

Apr 08 2026

Started listening to it and definitely skipped around and decided that this album was not worth my time. Weird random Avant-gard rock album? Why this album is on the list is beyond me. Read a bit more. and just because it preceeded talking heads and other things.. doesn't make it good.

Teenager Of The Year by Frank Black
Apr 09 2026

Nope, Kinda feel like I'm playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2. But a cheap knockoff version.

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Apr 10 2026

God, this rocks. Usually, I wouldn't like his voice, but this album absolutely slaps and I needed to add Around the World immediately to my liked songs. The bass and the drums also really get me. Just a really good grungy feel that scratches parts of my brain.

Back At The Chicken Shack by Jimmy Smith
Apr 11 2026

Oh, I'm digging this. What a great listen on a Friday. The soul was palpable in this. 8/10.

Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Apr 14 2026

Pretty good in the background, but nothing groundbreaking.

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Apr 16 2026

Eh, middle of the road. nothing too memorable.

Machine Gun Etiquette by The Damned
Apr 17 2026

I sound like an old cranky man where all of these older rock bands sound the same and I'm just not feeling it.

Blur by Blur
Apr 18 2026

Song 2 is a banger, but the rest of the album fell off, probably why it was a one hit wonder.

Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
Apr 19 2026

A good stevie album. Had some highlights, but a middle of the road album for me.

You're Living All Over Me by Dinosaur Jr.
Apr 20 2026

The first 5 seconds of the first song I already knew that I wasn't going to enjoy this album. Skipped around and could confirm. Too grungy, raspy, tired voice type shit.

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Apr 21 2026

This is Jammin' man.

Hearts And Bones by Paul Simon
Apr 23 2026

That guitar solo in Allergies?? Cars are cars was weird tho... still a 4/10

m b v by My Bloody Valentine
Apr 24 2026

Not my jam, but also was pretty distracted while listening to it.

Be by Common
Apr 25 2026

Eh

Songs The Lord Taught Us by The Cramps
Apr 27 2026

I don't know if it was because I just listened to Bob Dylan, but this fucking sucked as well.

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
Apr 28 2026

I thought it was enjoyable. Don't absolutely love his voice. Take me out is definitely a vibe though.

The Hour Of Bewilderbeast by Badly Drawn Boy
Apr 29 2026

I actually really liked this album. I didn't listen to it with Headphones like Colton did. It was a nice chill vibe with variation.

Sex Packets by Digital Underground
Apr 30 2026

Just not my vibe. Giving off Fresh Prince.. which may be racist... but It's just not compelling. it seems like they're acting too cool for school. and I love passion and cool rythmns. And the lyrics are very problematic.

John Prine by John Prine
May 01 2026

That was fun!

Transformer by Lou Reed
May 02 2026

I didn't really like it. Was just another alright rockish album.

The Hissing Of Summer Lawns by Joni Mitchell
May 04 2026

'twas alright. It probably had a lot better story telling. But I'm much more of a musician side than a lyrics side.

Songs From The Big Chair by Tears For Fears
May 05 2026

I feel like i'm in an 80's movie playing a keytar and am taking a girl with big poofy hair from hairspray and then go on an adventure to return an alien home.

Tuesday Night Music Club by Sheryl Crow
May 06 2026

I thought Sheryl Crow was country for some reason. But this is definitely not what I expected. Pretty good though.

On The Beach by Neil Young
May 07 2026

I don't have many words for this album. was just a middle of the road oldies record. I didn't hate it, which is actually saying something for what i've encountered on this list.

Ill Communication by Beastie Boys
May 09 2026

This really rocked. I liked the Ocean's 11 vibe that some of the instrumental songs gave off. Sabotage is a Elite song as well. What a classic.

Moon Safari by Air
May 10 2026

That was a good vibe and great background music. I don't know if I would just sit down and listen to the album though. Or go to a concert by them.

Let It Be by The Replacements
May 11 2026

Meh, What did they replace? Did they try to replace the Beatles with Let it Be? Probs not, but They're not replacing any of my music tastes.

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
May 12 2026

I liked the album. It was incredibly long though. Maybe it was because I listened to another 2 or 3 albums from this list today. Love the cover art, but I didn't add any of the songs to my liked songs.

Veckatimest by Grizzly Bear
May 13 2026

I had hopes for this one after the first song. But it kinda just went on and I couldn't really get into it.

The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
May 14 2026

Live Reacting to this album. The first words being Delilah was a floosy was awesome. OOOO, Big Band. Wait.. 4 DISCS?!?!?! Ooo, Congas in Just Another Rhumba hit my brain just right. Lost track. I would have rated it higher, but it was so fucking long lol.

Suicide by Suicide
May 15 2026

What the fuck was that.

Arrival by ABBA
May 16 2026

I asked Colton to add Mama Mia 2: Here we go again to his Plex. This album just makes me feel things. 10/10. No notes.

Blood And Chocolate by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
May 17 2026

Nope, did not like that one bit.

Songs From A Room by Leonard Cohen
May 18 2026

So, that's gonna be a no from me Dawg. Stay in your room and maybe invite a partner over to cheer you up.

Odelay by Beck
May 19 2026

Come on 1001, give me some songs that I would want to listen to again. I don't want to feel like I'm in a Rock'n Roll History class.

...Baby One More Time by Britney Spears
May 21 2026

... Yea, I'm a basic bitch. Each song takes me back and makes me feel things. I definitely had a crush on her as a kid. Her and Hillary Duff. But I'm pretty sure Hillary Duffs Metamorphasis album probably isn't here. So many of these songs are iconic and have lasted the tests of time. Baby One more time. Also, the Spotify Music video function is pretty fun.

Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield
May 22 2026

That was a really fun listen. Yes, it was long, but I enjoyed the creativity and tubularness of the bells. :)

Kimono My House by Sparks
May 24 2026

Vey much a Jammin album, but nothing really stood out.

Tellinโ€™ Stories by The Charlatans
May 25 2026

Just really wasn't in the mood for this one today. Sounded like a basic rock record. nothing special.

Paul Simon by Paul Simon
May 26 2026

That was fun!

Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel
May 27 2026

Really good background music... I don't know if i could devote full attention to this album. I do remember the boxer though!

Eternally Yours by The Saints
May 28 2026

I feel like I'm listening to Lane's band in Gilmore girls. Sure, it can get the crowd going, and I feel like going to their concert back in their time would be a fun vibe. especially with the harmonica. But listening to is as an album just isn't it. I don't get his voice. And is this another europe invasion album? The guy that made this sure does have a certain taste.

Remain In Light by Talking Heads
May 30 2026

That was a really fun ride! Loved some of the experimental stuff. A couple of tracks didn't really resonate, but the first couple really did. Just a fun vibe overall.

May 31 2026

Well well well, this journey has really brought out what I like and don't like in music. Whereas before, I thought I would say I'm much more of a rock/pop type person. But a lot of the rock albums on here, i've hated. haha. While I might not listen to this on repeat, the first couple of tracks were interesting. I know Tupac was shot, but I thought he died? Maybe he got shot multiple times? Maybe I'll ahve to look that up. But enjoyable!

Step In The Arena by Gang Starr
Jun 01 2026

Unlike Colton, I didn't like this album, but I am very perplexed why I liked the Tupac one and not this one? It might because it seems like these guys are just chilling and acting all tough. While Tupac seems like he had more passion and grit behind the sound? Interesting for sure. Also going through these two albums in the same day was a looot of rap for me.

Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra
Jun 02 2026

Currently watching Mad Men and I feel like I should be courting a mistress wearing a fedora and smoking 2 packs a day. The song Making Whoopie? crazy.

Playing With Fire by Spacemen 3
Jun 03 2026

Yep, that was hot garbage, I listened to the first one or two songs, and suicide. and decided I didn't want to ruin my day and turned off the album. I've said this plenty of times, but if 1001 has this album and none of Taylor Swift's... I'm going to riot.

Infected by The The
Jun 04 2026

After listening to Playing with Fire and some other terrible albums, I just didn't have the capacity to listen to this. Sure, there's probably some motif's that i'm missing and small things that I would pickup while listening to the full album. But I just couldn't do it today. Skipped around, and just sounded like another 80's synth rock/pop album. 2/10

90 by 808 State
Jun 05 2026

Nope. Maybe if I was high and at da clerb dancing or in a video game, then it would be a fun time. but this did not work for me.

Jun 06 2026

Such a good album. They're one of the GOAT's for a reason.

Throwing Muses by Throwing Muses
Jun 08 2026

I could see liking one song. But they didn't differentiate themselves enough for me to want to listen to a whole album of this.

The Wildest! by Louis Prima
Jun 09 2026

Love me some big band. Night Train hit me just right too.

Fever Ray by Fever Ray
Jun 10 2026

I don't know why, but I really vibed with this album. It was perfect for a midday coffee shop working session. Kinda weird, kinda eclectic. I really loved the first song. I even sent it to somebody, which tells you that I really did like it. Anyways. I guess I have to do more soul searching on what music I like and why. haha

Dog Man Star by Suede
Jun 11 2026

I actualy kinda liked this album when I listened to it a couple of days ago.

Channel Orange by Frank Ocean
Jun 12 2026

Crack Roooook, how ya feelin? Definitely an interesting album, and I don't hate it. Don't think i'd revisit it. but if I had to, I could listen to it again. I like his voice and the chill vibe.

Jun 13 2026

I don't know if I needed the second disk. But those first couple of songs really hit on a Monday morning. I know I love big band. and I think I'm going to give this a five even though it's probably more of an 8 or 9 out of 10. But I need to give credit when I really resonate with a piece. I used to always listen to Michael Buble's cover of You Don't know Me.

Sail Away by Randy Newman
Jun 14 2026

Unlike Colton, I did not listen to the lyrics intently. His voice does really remind me of Toy Story as well. I just can't see him popping off in 2026. No doubt he's talented and a different kind of voice and vibe. Which I think is a little sad that now there are formulas and algorithms to get the most out of musicians and thus people try not to be experimental or go off on weird voices like this. But with all that. I still rate this a 2.

Heroes by David Bowie
Jun 15 2026

Ummm, what was the last half of this album? Moss Garden? I really liked the other David Bowie stuff. But I'm not jammin' to this one. But I'll give it a 5/10

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Jun 16 2026

Oooo, I really liked that. some of the Saxophone got to be too much. But towards the end of the album, I made the stank face where the musicians were just going off.

Back to Basics by Christina Aguilera
Jun 17 2026

Feel like it was the same as the last Christina album that we listened to. She has a great voice, but just does the same trick over and over.

Good Old Boys by Randy Newman
Jun 18 2026

I got enough of Randy Newman watching the new Toy Story 5 this weekend. Didn't need to listen to his voice any more.

Signing Off by UB40
Jun 19 2026

I did not have the capacity to listen to this today. It all sounded the same and I'm not on a beach sipping a margarita.

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Jun 20 2026

I thought I was gonna like this album more than I did. It had some good guitar parts. but I just wasn't feeling it.

Third by Portishead
Jun 21 2026

Another 2.. Why. Why was this on here.

White Blood Cells by The White Stripes
Jun 23 2026

Twas alright, nothing really grabbed me.

Highly Evolved by The Vines
Jun 24 2026

They had a cool sound! Not much more I can say about it.

Fifth Dimension by The Byrds
Jun 25 2026

I tried to start listening to this album multiple times. I got to Mr. Spaceman and for some reason couldn't finish the album or kept getting distracted. it's not a bad album. i just feel like this list has way more of the british invasion than I would care for.

Juju by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Jun 26 2026

I could take one or two songs. It's almost really good. It might be their voices that just don't do it for me. I liked a lot of the intros tho.

Debut by Bjรถrk
Jun 27 2026

Hmm, I can kinda see why people might like this? But I wasn't vibing and it seems a little overrated. I have heard of Bjork's name. and if nothing else, this journey has gotten me to know more pop culture references.

The Pleasure Principle by Gary Numan
Jun 28 2026

Honestly, I got bored and didn't really listen to it all. Seems a little interesting, but not enough to listen to fully.

That bass player slaps, and it was kinda fun to hear him talk and use poetry as humor, like talking about how someone wanted him to dress nice and he used a lot of extravagant words. So I liked it more than I thought I would, even if he used some rapey phrases.

Gorillaz by Gorillaz

This album was pretty blah and boring for me. Slow and chill, maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it. The standout was Clint Eastwood tho.

Cut by The Slits
Jul 01 2026

Reminds me of Christmas Wrapping by the Waitresses, pretty unique, but also didn't take my attention too much.

Music for the Masses by Depeche Mode
Jul 02 2026

I got a couple of songs in and couldn't listen to anymore of it. Just the same whiney, but not whiney singer? Would not listen to again.

Protection by Massive Attack
Jul 03 2026

I definitely should have been high for this one.

Purple Rain by Prince
Jul 04 2026

That was a very nice album. Probably the first one where the hype matched the music. I really loved the guitar rift at the end of Let's Go Crazy.

1989 by Taylor Swift
Jul 05 2026

My lord and savior Taylor Swift has graced us with her presence and genius with this album. While I may be biased and definitely a fan of her work. I was interested to see what a full listen through of this album would do. Especially since I've listened to it so many times before. This is a no skip album for me. Even when the beats are a little bit more poppy and "girly", the lyrics hit you like a ton of bricks. This is the reason why she was inducted into the Song writer's hall of fame this past month. This album made me feel so many things while I was on my hike. I've heard it said many times that "If you don't like Taylor Swift, it's because you haven't needed her yet". So maybe with my past couple of years and relationships, and really understanding what she and so many others are going through just made this hit so much more. And being someone that's been in the public eye and so many rumors that this album is about Harry Styles, you can really see her yearning for someone that will stay and love her. My favorites are Out of the Woods, Style (That opening guitar rift always makes me ascend.), and honestly shake it off.

Ctrl by SZA
Jul 06 2026

That was A LOT more sexual than I thought it was gonna be. A whole song about pussy, and about cheating. One of my Exes and her friends love SZA, and I can kinda see it? but not really my vibe. But I can see where some moods I would be into it.

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Jul 07 2026

Fun album! Definitely know heads will roll and that's mixed by a lot of EDM artists. Not my favorite, but could see why people like it.

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
Jul 08 2026

That was a fun album, wasn't intently listening, but there's a reason Snnop Dogg has been around for a long time.

OK Computer by Radiohead
Jul 09 2026

That was a fun listen, don't know if I'd search it out. But if it came on, I wouldn't be mad.

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Jul 12 2026

When I say I'm patriotic, I mean listening to this album, driving down an old country road in my chevy to a lake where i'll have a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other.

Van Halen by Van Halen
Jul 14 2026

Oh, that tickled my brain in the best way. No wonder the band is named after the guitarist. You know what, 5 stars. One of the greatest rock albums of all time.

New York Dolls by New York Dolls
Jul 15 2026

Nothing really stood out, I liked the first song tho.

God, I hate this album. There's something so visceral how much I hate this album. I don't know if it's because I was forced to listen to them in my teens becaue every Ipod was already preloaded with on of their songs. Or how their music videos for this album just look like Party frat boys who know their the shit just walking around. Who's daddy made these fuckers famous? Wait... THAT'S BONO? Ah, now I can attach this self aggrandizing prick to whatever pop culture I've heard about him. I could have peacefully died without having listened to this album.

Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Jul 17 2026

I'll be honest, I didn't pay much attention to this album, it was mostly in the background. But I didn't hate it and liked the first couple of songs.

Highway 61 Revisited by Bob Dylan
Jul 20 2026

This was better than the other Bob Dylan albums, but I still don't understand the hype. I like the band, the harmonica, everything else, but his voice.. it grates on me.

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Jul 21 2026

This album is just what I needed to listen to. Nice and chill and although I didn't listen to a ton of the lyrics. I could read from other reviews and from listening to some of them that they're really impactful. I'd listen to this again.

Ritual De Lo Habitual by Jane's Addiction
Jul 23 2026

Sounded like just another rock album. Didn't really vibe with it that much.

Getz/Gilberto by Stan Getz
Jul 27 2026

I liked that a lot. The chill and smooth vibes. Could listen to that over and over.

Jul 30 2026

Kinda boring and not my vibe. A mid rock album where I think the author of this list loves that kind of voice and band.

Crosby, Stills & Nash by Crosby, Stills & Nash
Jul 31 2026

I swear I tried to intently listen to this album a couple of times. It's good background music, but not something I'd revisit or think, "Hey, I really want to listen to Crosby, Still & Nash right now." Would much rather have some CCR.

Chill album.

This Year's Model by Elvis Costello & The Attractions

Weird, but alright at the same time?

Stand! by Sly & The Family Stone
Aug 05 2026

Groovy, I like it.

Calenture by The Triffids
Aug 06 2026

Had to start listening to this like 10 times to get through it. I'm just glad the second disc was all demos so I didn't have to listen to all of that.
