Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix
Mar 07 2026

Obviously legendary album, some real highlights particularly the singles, Burning of the Midnight Lamp one of the first guitar songs I fell in love with (and could play a bit). But it's too long for me, not as concise as Axis Bold As Love. But Hendrix is Obviously on fire the whole time

Billion Dollar Babies by Alice Cooper
Mar 08 2026

For some reason always a surprise when I listen to Alice Cooper. Great 70s rock album

The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses
Mar 09 2026

First got turned onto Stone Roses early 2000s due to my love of Britpop (mostly Oasis). Remember even then listening and thinking these guys are superior musicians, the rhythm section just phenomenal. I Wanna Be Adored an iconic opening, and I Am The Resurrection an iconic end. Strong nostalgia of coming home after watching Celtic game with my dad at the pub, putting this on in my room and falling asleep

Mar 10 2026

Never listened before, nice mix of prog, folk and even jazz elements. Didn't really grab me but pretty good

Murmur by R.E.M.
Mar 11 2026

Came to this album about 8 years ago having only heard the Warner Brothers tracks of REM. Absolutely brilliant debut, jangly, emotional, catchy. Perfect Circle is gorgeous. Made me listen to every album of theirs and I fell in love with the band.

I Should Coco by Supergrass
Mar 12 2026

Not bad, quite fun but not essential listening. Gaz Coombes has a great voice, great songwriting but just not for me

To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar
Mar 14 2026

Decent, I've got to be in the mood for hip hop and it normally takes something special to keep my attention, some great highlights on this but all in all didn't do it for me. Like the genre bending though

Kid A by Radiohead
Mar 15 2026

Absolute top tier. Took me a while to get into when I first bought but eventually became a favourite, what balls to move so drastically from what worked on OK Computer. One of the great bands

Homework by Daft Punk
Mar 16 2026

Not for me, obviously good but just does nothing for me

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
Mar 17 2026

Coke addled but still brilliant

Abbey Road by Beatles
Mar 20 2026

Iconic cover, iconic songs, 2 classics by the best Beatle, and the suite of songs in second half

Safe As Milk by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
Mar 22 2026

TBC

Abraxas by Santana
Mar 24 2026

Quality album brings back memories of my dad who loved Santana

Imagine by John Lennon
Mar 27 2026

Some classics

Blur by Blur
Mar 28 2026

Some absolute quality, You're So Great is top tier album track. But lose interest at points

Little Earthquakes by Tori Amos
Mar 29 2026

Really enjoyed, interesting artist, Kate Bush meets 90s alternative

Document by R.E.M.
Mar 31 2026

Could be my favourite REM,

Back To Black by Amy Winehouse

Apr 02 2026

Apr 03 2026
