As someone from the North of Ireland, I know first hand what a prick Van the Man has always been, not to mention in his later years becoming a full Covid/anti vax lunatic But if there ever was a musician the term 'separate the art from the artist' was designed for, its him Exceptional album

Grim but good

I've heard some other David Bowie albums and they are a lot better, but i still enjoyed it. Sound & vision the highlight track

I know plenty of these songs given the magnitude of the Beatles and to be fair they are bangers Oh! Darling which I hadn't heard before is my newly discovered highlight I cant fault it.

One of the best modern metal albums ever

I'm so annoyed I listened to this entire album It's just middle of the road inoffensive music for your Mum or Aunt Imagine The Beautiful South or The Pretenders only terrible The only reason I haven't given it 1 star is because Ive had to endure a Kid Rock album which got 1 star. The only positive being that Idlewild wasnt as bad as that Definitely an album to hear after you die, not before

Down by the river is one of the greatest songs ever written, 4/5 only because I know the 5/5's NY is capable of (Harvest/After the gold rush)
