There’s not much worse, musically, than hard rock blues. This album is a prime example.
When I was as a teenager I was given a copy of this, which I listened to once. I didn’t get it, I’d already heard Robert Johnson, Big Mama Thornton, Mahalia Jackson, and countless others. It was derivative shite in 1969, now sounds exactly what it is, sad dad nonce rock.

Det står 1969 men jag lägger den bland 70talsrock ...å då vet ni åt vart det barkar Om man ett någorlunda bra riff hur mycket kan man mjölka det då? Tydligen alldeles åt helvete för mycket. Den här skivan har två någorlunda bra riff "Whole lotta love" och "Heartbreaker“. Ett riff gör ingen låt och två gör inget album. För precis allting annat än just dom två riffen är avskyvärt. Det här bland det värsta jag vet och jag ids inte ens specificera mig, det skulle bli för mycket och för långt. Jag avskyr LZ av hela mitt väsen

Apologies - this is Emperor's New Clothes territory for me. I really can't understand the appeal. I wasn't too keen on Led Zep IV, but this is just trash by comparison. One-dimensional pentatonic shrieking over inventive, but uninspiring, backing. Crap.
I absolutely hate this band, the lyrics are all disgusting. They have no respect for women. Musically it's interesting in places but ruined by the slimy lyrics.
A band of musical theives so far up their own assholes they somehow managed to convince the world that they need to join. Seriously fucking awful. Zero stars.

Not for me.
No matter how many times I listen to Zeppelin I just hate it. What the hell is Moby Dick? OK drums for what felt like 45 minutes, odd choice Zep, but in 1969 it was probably cool? I'm 100% convinced at this point that Zeppelin is a satirical comedy band. All their songs are about LOTR, jizz, or how LOTR makes them jizz, and I can't take the vocals seriously, it's pure comedy.

I just don’t get Led Zep. Blues for those who hate the Blues? Turgid and derivative.

Utter crap. Picked up in a charity shop. I basically like Houses of the Holy and Physical Graffiti and When the Levee Breaks. I've a best of that I've heard these tracks on, and While lotta love and Ramble on, I'd keep, the rest can do one.
