I can take a Muse song here and there, but listening to that album straight through was too much.
The Smiths
2/5
Pearl Jam
3/5
Simon & Garfunkel
3/5
The Clash
3/5
This reminds me of Dan Coats, who has undoubtedly been the main source of The Clash reaching my ears.
Elvis Costello & The Attractions
1/5
Nick Drake
3/5
Bob Dylan
2/5
Bob Dylan sucks. And why would they cram that suckiness into two 7 minuter and an 11 minuter? This album does have a couple of recognizable songs though
Bob Dylan
2/5
I'm just not a huge Bob fan. His singing voice style sounds forced and unnatural. Sorry Bob.
Led Zeppelin
4/5
Not my favorite Zeppelin album, but it has some bangers on there.
Kanye West
3/5
Couple of good ones on there, Jesus Walks and All Falls Down stand out for me.
Willie Nelson
1/5
The only thing that saved this album from not even being listened to, was the fact that this was a bunch of covers. I literally have no idea how Willie Nelson sold a single album. Every single cover he did on this album was worse than the original, and not by a little bit. The only good thing about Willie Nelson is that he uses his bafflingly unlikely fame as a tool for cannabis legalization.
The Band
3/5
The Weight makes this a three instead of a two.
4/5
Stan Getz
4/5
Cooking music imo
Happy Mondays
3/5
I don't think I've heard of this band, but I'm sure I've heard their stuff. A touch of pearl clutching lyrics. Good Stuff over all
My Bloody Valentine
2/5
Not my thing, but I didn't hate it. The music seems like a noisy jam session that they tried to make into songs. The all lowercase song titles almost dropped this down to a one star.
Anita Baker
2/5
Makes me feel like I need a perm and a track suit.
Sarah Vaughan
4/5
Love this style.
D'Angelo
2/5
Not really my thing, but not bad.
Suede
2/5
Whiney and boring
Miles Davis
3/5
Sepultura
1/5
I made it through about 5 songs. Not my thing at all. I feel like you either really like this type of music, or you don't. I'm part of group 2.
Hookworms
2/5
Nothing I'd seek out, but I didn't hate it.
Megadeth
3/5
I'm a fan of the face-melting guitar solos. I want Jack Black to make a film based on this album, where he sings all the songs.
David Bowie
3/5
Golden Years is the star of this one.
Kanye West
2/5
"I bet it'll sell even if I put out some weird shit" - Kanye
I feel like this album was the first major hint on where Ye was headed mentally.
Paul Simon
4/5
Lovely
Moby
2/5
What a weird artist for Eminem to have beef with.
Morrissey
2/5
I didn't really like it, but I don't like the Smiths either, so it isn't very surprising.
Crowded House
3/5
Weather With You is recognizable for me, but not any others on this one. I enjoyed it though.
The Mothers Of Invention
1/5
All. The. Drug. Frank Zappa is a weird dude.
Little Richard
3/5
Mott The Hoople
3/5
Very David Bowie
Suede
2/5
I stand by my first Suede analysis, whiney and boring.
Public Enemy
3/5
Classic 90s rap. I can see the fashion of this music in my head.
The Crusaders
3/5
Jazzy.
The Teardrop Explodes
3/5
I like
The Strokes
3/5
Serious bangers on their. I feel like The Strokes gained too much of their style from their lo-fi mic sound they use on every single song though.
Cocteau Twins
1/5
I don't think this is English. I like lyrics too much.
The Youngbloods
4/5
Easy listening, soothing. I wish they did some stuff with J. Joplin.
Tortoise
2/5
Decent background music, nothing too distracting.
Earth, Wind & Fire
3/5
The Electric Prunes
2/5
I feel like this era thought it was just soo cool to have separate left and right tracks. I almost find it distracting. Why is my left ear only hearing drums?
Ghostface Killah
3/5
Decent old school vibes
Lightning Bolt
1/5
Boring, the whole album could be one long crappy song.
Wilco
3/5
Björk

Black Sabbath
3/5
this is mid zepp. on the soft side.
Beatles
5/5
4/5
Top notch. This album takes me back to a very specific time in my life. Champagne Supernova might be better than Wonderwall just saying
Elton John
3/5
three hours is a bit much, three disks is nutty, good songs though
Frank Zappa
2/5
A 13 minute song that has violin solos that sound like guitar isn't up my ally, I'm glad I heard it, but I don't need to hear it again.
The Mamas & The Papas
3/5
This is my moms JAM. I feel like I'm 8 years old, driving to harmony house.

The Kinks
3/5
Bob Dylan
3/5

James Brown
3/5
His band isn't as good as others from that era. Mid lineup tbh.

The Prodigy
3/5
Kind of riding that fatboy slim train
Nightmares On Wax

Good vibes, but without understanding any of the lyrics, and a lack of variance between songs, it was like listening to the same song for an hour and a half.
Super Furry Animals
2/5
I enjoyed the variation of style, nothing really stood out to me though
Liz Phair
1/5
I'm fairly sure that Phoebe Buffay took inspiration from Liz Phair.

At what point does a song become a jam session....somewhere prior to the 18th minute mark of Halleluhwah. When is a song considered an experiment of sound...rather than a song....because that's how I'd classify Aumgn. I did enjoy hearing the "Aumgn" lyric though.
The Who
2/5
This'd be a one if it wasn't for Pinball Wizard
Thelonious Monk
