Deloused in the Comatorium by The Mars Volta

Love everything except the voice. Little too emo and nasally for me to give it a 5.

My Aim Is True by Elvis Costello
Feb 28 2024

Not bad, kind of all sounds the same though

Tarkus by Emerson, Lake & Palmer

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Mar 19 2024

Title track is the only one worth listening to. Rest is boring dad-rock or overplayed hits. “Your latest trick” isn’t terrible.

Love everything except the voice. Little too emo and nasally for me to give it a 5.

Machine Gun Etiquette by The Damned
Mar 27 2024

This album kicks ass. The opening track immediately comes in with crazy energy and never slows down from there. Second track isn’t my favorite but it keeps the vibe going into “I just can’t be happy today” which is a unique but fun song. Fourth track might be the most skippable behind “These Hands”, but is followed up with my favorite track, “Anti-pope”. Similarly to I just can’t be happy today, it is unlike any song I’ve heard and combines many different genres of music.

Power In Numbers by Jurassic 5
Nov 26 2024

Didnt think I would enjoy a hip hop album this much. Drags on a bit towards the end only reason it’s not a 5.

This makes me wanna take controlled substances. Only reason this isn’t a 5 is because I wasn’t high as a kite

The Soft Bulletin by The Flaming Lips
Feb 07 2025

Maybe I just wasn’t in the right mood, but I just couldn’t sit through Kermit the frog singing much longer. Had to turn it off halfway through. 2 stars because there are some good moments sprinkled in (mostly when there’s no vocals!)
