Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
Mar 13 2024

Not my cuppa tea. The voice, the guitars, the lack of variety in the sound. They should've stayed making music in their bedrooms.

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
Mar 14 2024

I've given this album a 2 star rating for the two songs I think make this album and likely their entire career.

Elvis Presley by Elvis Presley
Mar 18 2024

Can appreciate the breath of fresh air he likely offered at the time, but his style of music is not for me.

Lady Soul by Aretha Franklin
Mar 19 2024

Clearly an exceptional voice, a talented band, and timeless classics. Prefer to listen to the songs individually amongst other singers rather than the full album in one go. Found the pitch of her voice too intense in some parts.

The Rolling Stones by The Rolling Stones
Mar 20 2024

Didn't enjoy listening to this at all. I can hear subtle hints of the good stuff that came in later years, but not enough for me to want to hear this album again - ever.

The Colour Of Spring by Talk Talk
Mar 21 2024

Musically listenable, vocally dissonant. Gave it an extra point for the one good song I know.

The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy
Mar 25 2024

One of many soundtracks to my twenties - its bass-heavy beats make it necessary to play this album loud! Lost a point because the last couple of tracks seem pointless.

Eliminator by ZZ Top
Mar 26 2024

Not terrible. The tracks I liked were purely nostalgia aside from Thug. That was a new and enjoyable one for my ears.

Let It Be by The Replacements
Mar 27 2024

One star so I can press the vote button.

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Apr 02 2024

Top marks. Timeless.

Something/Anything? by Todd Rundgren
Apr 05 2024

Summery, easy going, have it on my playlist.

Young Americans by David Bowie
Apr 08 2024

Given this a two for the two songs I know and like.

The Slider by T. Rex
Apr 12 2024

Lacks variety in sound, leaving my ears unmotivated to hear most tracks in their entirety. Not for me.

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
Apr 15 2024

Not my favourite Smiths album. Nice familiar sound but dull.

Too Rye Ay by Dexys Midnight Runners
Apr 17 2024

A voice that sounds like he's constantly mid-yawn, and a track list that only produced a couple of booze fuelled sing alongs from the eighties, I’m afraid it's a thumbs down from me.

Truth by Jeff Beck
Apr 18 2024

Liked the gritty, sticky carpet sound, but not for ne.

Nowhere by Ride
Apr 24 2024

Meh meh

Rocks by Aerosmith
Apr 25 2024
Guero by Beck
Apr 26 2024

Good, joyful, light, Beck album. Last few sings tailed off a bit.

Play by Moby
May 08 2024

Was on heavy rotation for me in the late nineties and holds many happy memories of travelling.

Medúlla by Björk
May 09 2024

Meh meh meh. Solar systems away from her good stuff.

Very by Pet Shop Boys
May 10 2024

Not their best - far from it! A bit too happy poppy this one.

Stardust by Willie Nelson
May 14 2024

Dull. Couldn't wait for it to be over.

You Are The Quarry by Morrissey
May 15 2024

Probably my favourite Morrissey album. Clear and resounding lyrics.

Triangle by The Beau Brummels
May 17 2024

Nice hippy vibes.

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
May 20 2024

A breath of fresh air for it's time. I enjoyed the simplicity and sound.

Group Sex by Circle Jerks
May 24 2024

Awful
