Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
Apr 01 2024

One of the best albums of all time. Brian Wilson's masterpiece.

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Apr 02 2024

I have heard of Nick Drake but I have never actually sat down and gave him a listen. Pink Moon is one of those albums that gets put on Best Of lists all the time so I knew it had a reputation. Listening and I can see why. The opening song and Nick Drake's voice hit hard. The lyrics and his words really made a mark. Intimate and comforting. The buzz on the guitar and Nick's voice made this a damn good listen.

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Apr 03 2024

Iconic voice. Simply one of a kind. So tragic we don't get to hear any new songs from hear. I don't typically listen to this kind of music. I don't hate it but it's not my first choice but I can not hate Amy and her one of a kind voice.

At Folsom Prison by Johnny Cash
Apr 04 2024

I was never a huge fan of Johnny Cash but this wasn't too bad.

Who's Next by The Who
Apr 05 2024

One of the best opening tracks of all time. Setting the stage for a legendary album. Pure bliss being injected in my veins with every single listen Baba O'Reily is just one of my favorite songs of all time. A hell of a follow up after the Rock Opera epic Tommy. Everyone is firing at all cylinders on this album. Everyone in the band is on the A-game.

1984 by Van Halen
Apr 08 2024

The synth opening up with Jump always makes me smile. 1984 is a damn good album. It's such a fun time. David Lee Roth doesn't have the best voice but it just fits perfectly with the band. Marc Anthony, Alex Van Halen and of course Eddie Van Halen just crush it. If I had to pick a favorite off the album I have to go with Panama. That guitar work just hits me just right.

Slippery When Wet by Bon Jovi
Apr 09 2024

Bon Jovi was one of the first bands that was my absolute favorite. My family still gives me grief about it, but it's all in good fun. I loved this album growing up and have great childhood memories listening to this. You've Give Love A Bad Name, Livin' On A Prayer, Wanted Dead Or Alive are classics. They are karaoke staples. Now listening as an adult I still enjoy these songs but they aren't hitting as hard.

Skylarking by XTC
Apr 10 2024

I read other people's thoughts about this and I saw a lot of people saying it's like "Tears For Fears" and I can totally hear that. This was great value Tears for Fears. It arite.

Chelsea Girl by Nico
Apr 11 2024

I did not really vibe with this at all. Her voice is interesting but just the overall feeling is just jot there.

Different Class by Pulp
Apr 12 2024

I have heard of the band Pulp but have never really listened to them. This was a nice surprise. The frontman Jarvis Cocker's voice reminds me of David Bowie. I can also hear Mikel Jollett from The Airborne Toxic Event. I enjoyed what I heard. Some very nice britpop.

Gorillaz by Gorillaz
Apr 15 2024

Fucking good. What a debut. Life changing album. I still remember being blown away listening to Clint Eastwood. This was the start of one of my favorite groups ever. Forever one of my favorites.

Tommy by The Who
Apr 16 2024

Great rock album. Pinball Wizard is one of my all time favorite songs. I have many memories of my dad putting this album on and jamming out.

Abraxas by Santana
Apr 18 2024

Been a fan Santana's work for the longest time. Always admired his work. He always blows me away with his guitar work. It was awesome to sit down and listen to some of his early work.

California by American Music Club
Apr 19 2024

Has americana vibes and it's not my first choice but still was enjoyable. Quite good.

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Apr 22 2024

Janis Joplin CRUSHES. This was a god damn blast.

Definitely hear the Prince and Micheal Jackson vibes. The 80's production is for sure there too. Those snyths are undeniable from that era. I Read that Terence played a bunch of instruments on songs. I always admire someone who plays multiple instruments. I enjoyed what I listened to for sure. This was definitely something I could of grew up on. A album my mom probably spun when she cleaned the house. As much as I enjoyed what I heard it's not something I would seek out again, but if it pops up on shuffle. It can stay on. It's a vibe.

Raising Hell by Run-D.M.C.
Apr 25 2024

Pioneers of an entire genre. Thier influence is still here to this day. Legends.

Now I Got Worry by The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion
Apr 26 2024

I know this band from Baby Driver and their song Bellbottoms. I really like that song and was ready to jam to this but this was just not my vibe at all.

Doolittle by Pixies
Apr 27 2024

Here Comes Your Man is one of my favorite songs of all time. It's a song that always puts me in a great mood. This was a fun listen. I've never sat down and listened to this album before and have always heard good things. I can totally see why people love this one and why people love the pixies. Good stuff for sure.

Triangle by The Beau Brummels
Apr 29 2024

After a string of punk and fast and frantic music; this was quite a change of pace. It's for sure something my dad would put on. It has a warm quality to it. I like it.

Bryter Layter by Nick Drake
Apr 30 2024

My last run in with Mr Drake I really liked what I heard. I felt his heart and soul with every single song. With every lyric. This is an earlier release and it's still damn good. I really really liked the song Northern Sky. It was god damn beautiful. Nick Drake continues to make me appreciate his music. It's such a tragedy we didn't get more of his music.

...And Justice For All by Metallica
May 01 2024

G o d damn do I love this album but I would love it even more if Jason Newsted's bass work wasn't taken from us. That's my only gripe. Everything else in the album is fucking legendary.

Back In Black by AC/DC
May 05 2024

Legendary riffs. Legendary vocals. Legendary album

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
May 07 2024

Iconic sound with the very first song. Rainy Day Women is one of my favorite songs. Visions of Johanna is also a song I really really like. Forever love me some Bob Dylan.

The Message by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five
May 08 2024

I was blessed with another BANGER.

Be by Common
May 12 2024

A damn good album. Common may be known better as being an actor and popping up in movies like John Wick and Wanted. But homie is so, so talented. This album is so damn good and is SUCH A VIBE.

May 13 2024

Protect Ya Neck. Fucking legendary. RZA, GZA,Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Ol' Dirty Bastard and the rest of Wu-Tang put their fucking stamp down HARD and the influence of this album is forever going to be around. Wu-Tang Clan influence ain't nuthing to fuk with.

The Score by Fugees
