Snore. The gospel choirs at the end of the record were nice at least.

I prefer my progressive rock to have more bite than this. That memey lick on Roundabout is amazing though.
Immaculate sounding, cannot believe this was made in 1969. Not my genre at all but I cannot die the beauty
I do not get this.
My favorite police record because it has the least reggae :( I know I'm a bad person. Their most spacious and evocative arrangements yet mixed with some of their nerviest and hectic. Mother is an amazing song and people's hatred is better directed toward Walking in Your Footsteps
Meticulous crafted, every harmony, guitar, and organ in the right place. Might be too cheesy for some, but quintessential arena rock for me.
Cannot listen to it on its own, need to either watch it performed or functioning as a soundtrack.
Wow, this was made in a lab to annoy me. Poppy but no hooks, insipid lyrics, boring droning snooze-inducing vocals, tries to get heavy but fails, what was Cobain thinking!?
Sometimes the synth tones are too bright for me, but the brooding vocals and breezy synths worked surprisingly well. Of course Tainted Love rules, but it's not alone.
A perfectly good metal album. Not catchy or intense enough for my taste, but nothing to object to
Cannot deny the influence and the weirdness, even if it's a bit overwhelming at points
I normally prefer vocals to instrumentals, but boy are the vocal effects irritating here. Some songs go on too long obviously, but Talking Drum in particular is haunting and I cannot deny the flair and virtuosity.
Y’all need to get over yourself, Jesus christ
There’s a reason the Banshees went into gothic rock and alternative pop after this record. They knew they never make pure post-punk as good as this so they didn’t try
I like Angels. Rest of the album sounds like D-grade Supergrass. Enjoy his pure pop I lot more.
