Moon Safari
AirGreat downtempo electronic ambient/dream pop music with vocals. Beautiful synths and piano. Smooth bass grooves and some additional horns. String arrangements at some song. Great vocals as well - both male and female.
Great downtempo electronic ambient/dream pop music with vocals. Beautiful synths and piano. Smooth bass grooves and some additional horns. String arrangements at some song. Great vocals as well - both male and female.
Interesting album. Some of it is traditional rock, and some of it more progressive and some times jazzy. Some of it is heavy, and some of it is not. Soft vocals that is comfortable to listen too. The vocals actually reminds me a bit about Motorpsycho.
Great soft electronica with clear British vocals and elements of indie rock. Will re visit on a club stereo.
Straight up fire 🔥
Super lo-fi and relaxing. Very nice female voice. Cool beats. Includes mild scratching. Super nice organ parts, string parts and sax parts.
Has iconic sons One Way Or Another, Heart of Glass and Once I Had A Love
This is the definition of Heavy Metal. Not my favorite Sabbath album, but enjoyable. Never been a fan of their vocals. If this was an instrumental album, I would love it. Warning is a hell of a song.
Straight forward rock and roll. Pretty boring.
Rock. Not very interesting. Do not understand the hype of the band.
Pretty catchy. Love the trombone and trumpet parts of the intro song, Overture.
Boring pop. Some ok songs like We Do What We Can.
Pleasant rock and roll. Easy to listen to. Really like the song 5-4=Unity - it reminds me of some other song that I can’t remember at the time. Quiet a variety of style/genre across songs. Not a big fan of the song Hit the Plane Down - especially not the end.
Dylan is never wrong. The intro song, Like a Rolling Stone, is an absolute classic! My favorite song on the album is the last song, Desolation Row.
Never been a big fan of the Doom like cartoon themed stuff, but the beats and the rapping is on point. Old school, samples, scratching, sick flow. Very pleased with this one. The songs 4th Chamber, Shadowboxin’, Investigative Reports and B.I.B.L.E. are dope as hell.
Fast paced British rock. Not a fan of the vocals - a bit tiring to listen to. Rally like the guitar shredding on the songs Lenny, Strange Ones, She’s So Loose and Time. Includes famous hit Alright.
Madonna is catchy as always. Most of it is a bit too cheesy for my taste, but it’s still really good! My favorite of the album is Nobody’s Perfect - it sounds like a modern day down tempo electronic banger! Includes legendary song American Pie as the outro.
Easy listen, but nothing special. The experience might have been ruined by adds from YouTube as Neil is no longer on Spotify due to the Covid vax conflict with Joe Rogen.
Very nice voice, but most of it is either uninteresting to me or feels quiet exhausting to listen to. I like the song All The Love, which is pretty slow and easy to listen to.
Very nice album. Super nice voice to listen too. Old fashioned pop/singer songwriter style - takes you back in time. The mastering of the Spotify version is terrible, so that makes the experience a bit less nice. The vocal is crystal clear and sounds good, but the instruments are drowning and blending. The intro song, Luckie, is pretty famous.
American new wave. Reminds me of Devo. Really like the music, but not a fan of the vocals. Neither the female or the male vocal.
This is kicking! Very good. Jazzy and soulful hip hop. Very easy, but interesting beats. Slow paced. Multiple wicked MCs!
Very nice American rock. Cool vocals - one of those slow almost speaking instead of singing once. Favorite song of the album is Girlfriend, which has super nice strings and piano.
Rock with a female vocal that is both singing and screaming. Nothing special about this - pretty boring.
One of my favorite albums of all time across genres. Takes me back to grandpas apartment the second it starts.
Interesting album. Some of it is traditional rock, and some of it more progressive and some times jazzy. Some of it is heavy, and some of it is not. Soft vocals that is comfortable to listen too. The vocals actually reminds me a bit about Motorpsycho.
Cool album. Some pure electronic DJ mix stuff and some hip hop related stuff. Quiet diverse. A lot of loops.
Very cool album even though I do not speak the language. Very jazzy hip hop with a MC that flows very well on the beat.
Very nice album. One of Neil’s best in my opinion. Lovely use of the harmonica, the piano and what I assume is the pedal steel. Very balanced and calming melodies and vocals. Includes the classic song Heart of Gold. The outro song, Words (Between the Lines of Age), is my favorite of the album.
Electronic industrial/noise music. I know that this is cult shit, but this is not for me. The song AB/7A is OK (loop that I could imagine as a part of a DJ set), otherwise not a single song that I found engaging.
Slow rock. Nothing special, but not bad either. Listened to it while working, so didn’t get the chance to concentrate too much on it.
Boring pop rock.
Very famous Brit pop/rock band. Don’t really get the hype. Find it quiet boring. Not bad, just not interesting. The vocalists voice is really nice.
Rock with some punky/screamy vocal and some rap. I like the rap songs better than the rest, but this is not something I would play regularly.
Partly electronic and partly acoustic. Drum machines, acoustic guitars, piano ++. Very nice sound and very soft and humble voice. Super calming and chill to listen to. The intro track is great and really kicks of the album. Not a single bad song on the album - I’m sold! Includes famous single Sail Away.
Absolute classic. One of my favorite artists and albums across genres! Where traveling in a country that removes cursing from Spotify when I listened for this review, and that just sounds so fucking stupid 😂 Nevertheless, 5/5!
British rock and roll/punk. Famous band. The music is catchy, but nothing special. Don’t like the vocals.
Very cool album. Synth have, floating rock. The music feels really grand and spectacular.
Most of it is very groovy with cool bass lines and synths. There is also some out of genre songs that’s has elements of ballads or bossanova.
Fast paced jazz with addition of drums and other percussion from African folk music. Quite intense at times. There is some really good sax playing on there. Some songs have vocals, which is a mix between English and what I assume is an African language. Long, banging solo parts in many of the songs too. Found this very catchy!
Australian classic rock. Not super interesting, but nice to listen to. Very smooth vocals and bass playing. Varies between up tempo songs with mild shredding and slow calm songs.
Very nice album with focus on acoustic guitars and piano. Great vocals!
Great live jazz album! Contrabass, piano and drums - all very good together and all have great solos. Probably recorded in a bar as you can hear talking and glasses in the background. It kind of makes you feel you where there.
American 80s rock and roll. Not very interesting, but some catchy songs such as the second song of the album, Breakdown.
Great live rock from legendary band!
Nice 60s/70s rock. Gives me Beatles vibes, which is never wrong!
Best Fleetwood album! Just so feelgood. I often put this on when I need to get in a good mood. Not a single bad song. Really love the songs Dreams and The Chain.
Classic Nick Cave - Slow and melancholic as always. A joy to listen to in front of the fireplace on a dark autumn night!
British classic rock. Some of it is pretty fast paced, and some of it is pretty slow. Not especially interesting, but some cool riffs from time to time.
Probably the inspiration for most of the punk I listen to today, but not my cup of tea. The vocal is exhausting to listen to.
Very nice jazz. Easy listen. Very lounge friendly. Random, but it actually reminds me a lot of a computer game I used to play a lot as a kid, Beetle Crazy Cup, which had a soundtrack just like this.
Easy listen. Pop/ambient electronica. Nice melodies and vocals. Not very interesting though. Includes radio hit On Hold.
Pink Floyd is one of the bands that I have never gotten the hype of. I think their music is good, but not the holy grail as it is for lots of people. I have heard most of their catalog from before, but not this album. This album, I actually like more than the other stuff I have heared. I like that it is a bit more classical and not too experimental with bells and whistles all over the place.
Varies between “pub rock” and more experimental, noisy rock. None of it is interesting to me and I loose energy when listening to it. The vocal is terrible.
Extremely repetitive and predictable. Most, if not all songs has a bass/guitar/synth line that just goes on throughout the entire song with some weak lyrics on top.
Cool album. Good energy and a clear theme throughout the album. I think Pharrell’s solo stuff is better though.
Nice pop rock. Easy listen, but not very interesting. Very good vocals - he actually reminds me a bit about Morten Harket from a-ha.
West African folk music. Lots of interesting strings. Quiet nice!
Live classic rock on the poodly side. Lots of cliche love lyrics. Som shredding from time to time, but nothing too exciting. I think I would enjoy it more as an instrumental. Includes famous single Baby, I Love Your Way.
Goat 🐐
Nice rock album. Both acoustic and electric. Really good vocals.
Straight forward rock with a soulless vocal. Kind of boring.
Cool rock album. Some of it is hard and stoned out, and some is more soft.
Pleasant album. Nothing super interesting, but high quality as one would expect.
One of the famous Bowie albums that I had not heard before. Great album. Includes hits Starman and Suffragette City.
Groovy and funky stuff. Early hip hop, but danceable - could easily hear multiple of the tracks in a DJ set. Quiet repetitive. A bit low on bass, but that could also be my earplugs.
Nice pop album. Soft and humble vocals and acoustic guitar.
Not usually that much into R&B, but this is slappin’! Very nice voice and great beast. Love the song Doves In The Wind. I liked it from the beginning, and that just escalated when I heard Kendrick on the second verse. Having him on your album is a great stamp of quality!
Pretty experimental. Not much of this that I actually enjoyed listening too.
Great folk/world album. Strings in focus.
Beautiful Young album! Need to get this one. Not my favorite, but still very good.
Late 70s rock. Not bad, but nothing too interesting.
Hard and chaotic rock!
Probably my favorite Metallica album. Haven’t listened to it in years. Great revisit that took me straight back to my “Metallica days” in my youth!
(Almost too) slow rock. Enjoyed, the music, but the vocals were really boring. Would have enjoyed it more as an instrumental.
Even though I’m a hip hop head, this wasn’t very interesting. He obviously can rap, but I found the beats quite wack and the mastering is terrible. Very flat sound.
Boring pop/rock.
Quiet chill pop/rock
Norah<3 One of the best voices out there! And so chill music! Long time favorite.
Not my favorite Prince album, but still great!
The «radio hit rock» that never gets old! Classic!
Slow British rock. Ok background music, but nothing I will revisit.
Adele! One of the greatest from my generation!
Class Dylan
Boring 60s classic British rock
Cool Zeppelin album that I had not heard from before!
Chill Beatles album that I had not heard from before. Not my favorite one, but still really good.
Never really understood the Wilco hype earlier, but this was a really pleasant listen. Guess I’m getting old!
Noisy rock. Gave me nothing!
Blues rock band with Clapton!? What’s not to love. Super good album. Varies from very slow and Calming to really rocked out. Especially love Key To The Highway and the Little Wind cover.
Spaced out electronica album. Some really cool melodic techno ish tracks like Lush 3-1, and some super annoying tracks where one word is looped for minutes for example. Not an album I would listen to again from start to end, but I will revisit individual tracks.
Cool English new wave ish. Really good voice. One of the bands have heard mentioned so many times, but not listened to before now.
Jazzy pop with a whiskey voice. The music is much more interesting then the vocals.
Absolute classic! For me, The Love Below is a clear 5, and Speakerboxxx varies all the way from 3 to 5.
Synth pop rock. Cool background music, but nothing super interesting. The vocals some times disappear in the mix.
Straight forward late 70s live rock. Nothing wrong with it, but not interesting to me. Includes big hit The Boys Are Back In Town.
My favorite The Who album so far in this list. Includes major hits “Baba O’Riley” (teenage wasteland) and “Behind Blue Eyes” (nobody knows what it is like). Disc 2 is all live - not as good as disc 1 for me.
Classic instrumental rock. Slow and shreddy. I can like that!
Very nice live piano trio jazz with a beautiful vocal. You hear a lot of interaction with the audience, which almost makes you feel that you are in the room.
African folk music. Beautiful voice, funny lyrics at times and some nice melodies, but not catchy enough that I would listen again.
Classic rock at its best. My favorite Sabbath album!
In your face as expected with Limp Bizkit! Cool album that I did not hear before. Includes mega hit Rollin’. Xzibit is on a track which is cool! I like the mix of rock and rap. That was actually how I first heard about the band - the collab with Jay Z.
Feel good pop rock. Multiple radio hits like the opening track Message In A Bottle.
Kanye before he went cray! Good memories. In between 4 and 5 on this one really, but landing on 4. Good beats and flow all over, and almost all tracks are enjoyable to me. All features works well.
Feel good rock and roll from start to end 🤘
Boring repetitive rock
Light rock with female vocals. Good voice, but pretty boring over all.
Legendary!
Artsy pop-rock. She has a really beautiful voice that reminds me a bit of Portishead. Varies between slow/soft and more rocket with screaming witthin the same songs. I prefer the slow parts by a lot! Don’t know if it is used as an effect or if the mastering is poor, but there is a huge difference in volume within tracks - not a fan of that!
British synth rock/post punk. Really good stuff! Not my favorite from the band so far, but their albums often takes me some rounds to really enjoy.
Straight forward heavy rock. Catchy!
Pop/rock with occasional string arrangements and some synths from time to time. Catchy, but nothing that stands out too me.
Country with some political punch. Especially the intro track that goes hard on criticizing racism - what a great song! Overall not something I would go back listening to as it wasn’t really that interesting too me.
Psych/prog with all the bells and whistles. Very spectacular at times. Also quite experimental at time - almost learning towards slow experimental jazz.
Great country album from legendary Dolly! Good lyrics, beautiful voice and easy to listen to music.
A full country album about a relationship where the dude is drinking too much. Not bad, but not especially interesting. Good voice, repetitive music and lyrics.
Straight forward rock and roll. Not very interesting to me.
Artsy singer-songwriter pop. Boring to me. Beautiful voice.
Perfection 🎸
Synth heavy German new wave ish electronics. Pretty artsy. Really cool sound. A bit slow, but I look forward to checking out the rest of the catalog.
Boring slow country rock.
Great 90s rock. Includes major hit Smells Like Teen Spirit. Favorite track is Lithium.
🐐! The third track, Stan, is probably my favorite of all Shady tracks!
Soft rock - easy listen. Not very interesting.
Live rock and roll with female vocals. OK background music, but nothing I will come back to.
Slow rock from the late 70s by one of The Beach Boys.
Genre blending alternative rock with some electronic elements, some organ ++. Quite weird stuff. Cool sounding vocals - reminds me of Gorillas.
Rock and roll with poppy vocal. Ok background music
A lot of great individual tracks on the album, but it lacks a solid theme or a red thread like Dummy has.
50s pop-rock
Varies between funky/groovy, jazzy and rocked. None of it is very interesting too me, but the first half more so than the last.
California 70s rock - Spell noe Creedence!
Super smooth bossa jazz.
Rock. Catchy at times, but mostly boring. Includes major hit Walk This Way.
Very chill ambient/tripop
One of the few post-punk bands I actually enjoy and listen too regularly. Great album - the last half more than the first to me as the first is very slow. Not as good as their other album Unknown Pleasures though.
It’s a good pop album, but nothing that catches my interest and makes me to go back for another listen. Favorite track was Life On Mars?
Not my favorite style of hip hop. This is hard and choppy - I’m more into the jazzy chill stuff. The beats are all the same and not very interesting or vibey. Definitely important legends for the genre. Very brave lyrics going hard ass hell on racism!
Weird album. Genre blend with elements from jazz, blues, rock, pop, funk and probably more. Lots of story telling/talking.
The perfect bossa record🤌
Sole less pop rock with female vocals.
Cool album - the flow of the spitting more than the beats which isn’t super interesting or well mastered. Not his best album in my opinion.
Boring pop. A couple of the last songs completely changed the sound compared to the rest - those where more interesting, but nothing I would go back to.
Great soft electronica with clear British vocals and elements of indie rock. Will re visit on a club stereo.
Uninspiring punk with repetitive track list. Exhausting to listen to. Terrible sound quality. Some good riffs from time to time.
Great downtempo electronic ambient/dream pop music with vocals. Beautiful synths and piano. Smooth bass grooves and some additional horns. String arrangements at some song. Great vocals as well - both male and female.
Rock and roll with a thin and flat vocal that didn’t cut it for me.
Great album from great artist - one that I did not hear before. Nice to be reminded of her insane vocal! Great instrumentation as well - well played, but at the same time lets the vocals shine. Not the deepest lyrics, but they feel heartfelt and real.
Mostly American folk ish. Not a biggest fan of that to begin with, but the instrumentation was nice enough. The vocals very heavy on the ups and downs as it typically is in the genre - and that is not for me! The female voice is beautiful. The male voice did not impress me, especially when dragging on notes - doesn’t sound good at all.
Important album from influential group. Not interesting to me in todays musical landscape.
Grandiose artsy pop. Didn’t really catch my interest.
Catchy grunge, nothing special. The music where a lot better than the vocals, to me.
Slow rock with acoustic guitar, piano and speak like vocals. Basic lyrics. Not interesting.
Nice pop-rock. Not his best, but a good listen.
Some ballads, some pop and some more jazzy tracks all with a beautiful female vocal.
Kind of a genre blend, so a bit hard to place. Most of it feels like orchestra music with a musical/theatre vocal to be honest. Some tracks in English and some in German. Not my cup of tea, but the musicians and singer are good nevertheless. Not on Spotify in my country, so had to get a YouTube Premium trial.
A classic that I haven’t really learned to love. I’m on Fire is a great track though.
Cool 90s hip hop from one of the Wu Tang members. Well themed. The lyrics are more impressive than the beats. Some skits ala Wu and Doom - not my favorite kind.
Boring slow pop-rock.
Slow piano jazz with a classic Waits talking whiskey voice vocal about drinking and life. Not exactly a masterpiece, but ok background listening. Background sounds from the audience if it were recorded in a bar. Don’t know if it is.
Cheap and flat indie pop/rock. Gave me nothing. Includes hit Heads Will Roll.
Rock with lots of bells and whistles. Great arrangements as well. Not their best album in my opinion, but still really good.
Cheesy pop/rock. Well enough executed, but not my thing at all.
Pretty straightforward psych rock. Ok to listen too, but not super interesting. Actually from 2010, so they clearly tried to recreate the sounds of the 60s/70s which I think they succeeded with. Double album - single would have been enough. Cool artwork.
Soft 2000s rock. Varies a lot in catchiness in my opinion. Some head nodding songs, and some really boring onces. Includes hit song Blue Orchid as the opening track.
Slow and long-winded instrumental prog. Experimental at times. Pretty cool.
Catchy straight forward blues-rock. The song “The Blues Had a Baby and They Named It Rock and Roll” is pretty spot on.
Great soul from a legend! Not the most varied lyrics though. Love the hit Respect.
Live album recorder in a prison. Good performance and connection with audience.
British soft BORING rock
Super slow ambient. Ok background music/sound, but I could never put this on for listening - too boring.
Easy listen. Varies between 70s rock and funk in my ears. Love the songs The Cisco Kid and City, Country, City.
Easy listen electronica. Experimental at times. Some of the tracks I would have preferred as instrumental even though her voice is pleasant.
Country rock ish with some blues and soul elements to it as well. A bit hard to place. Good album, but not for me. Pretty similar tracks throughout the album.
Chill slow indie pop. Easy listen.
Uninspiring rock and roll.
Beautiful light and almost jazzy pop with a silky smooth vocal.
Very repetitive synths and riffing loops with a drowning talking vocal. Started off as non interesting, but ok in the background. Ended as a nightmare to listen to.
Straight up fire 🔥
Hard to put in a box genre wise. I hear elements of reggae, rock, blues and pop at least. Terrible British vocal on the white dude which makes it really hard to listen to.
Great album. Includes mega hits I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For and With Or Without You. Engaging use of stereo in the mix. Has a few really boring songs that could have been left out like for example the two last ones.
Ok pop album that didn’t catch my interest. Includes mega hit One. Had the other significant better U2 album The Joshua Tree yesterday, so that might have tainted the rating. I like the song Who’s Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses.
Probably one of the most iconic albums of all time across genres! Three absolute classics in a row with Thriller, Beat It and Billie Jean. Not all songs are great though. Favorite track is probably Human Nature.
Slow very repetitive music that is hard to place. Maybe rock with afro drums. Vocal that does some singing and some talking some times with a choir.
Very boring and non interesting pretentious artsy pop-rock.
Classic! Fun skits, fat beats and sick flow. Dope! Favorite tracks of his whole catalog is on there as well: Gz and Hustlas.
Non interesting pop/rock. Repetitive tracks and lyrics - nothing that really stands out, at least to me. Good musicians and OK vocal.
Electronic reggae music which also has elements of jazz and hip hop on some tracks. Pretty cool.
Chill soft 70s singer songwriter/pop/rock. Pleasant background music, but nothing in particular that caught my interest. Very long album.
OK straight forward rock music with mediocre vocal and pretty bad lyrics - very banal and repetitive.
Feel good soul/funk! Not their best album, but good!
Still quite boring as the previous album of the band that I listened to, Amnesiac, but this one feels less pretentious. It is more ambient and less artsy, I think. Still not a fan of the whiney vocal. Still a lot of very repetitive programming that does not sound great.
Soft rock. First part of the album didn’t catch my interest a lot, but second half did. He has a great vocal and band!
Country is really not my thing, but the music here is quite alright - something I could listen to as an instrumental. The singing style on the other hand is text book why I don’t like country - every verse in every song sounds exactly the same. Also the lyrics are very predictable and non interesting.
80s hip hop which varies in style between beat breaks and rock samples. A lot of catchy tracks, but also a lot of crap.
Generic pop/rock. Not bad, just boring.
Modern Arab music with a mix of traditional style and more modern elements like drum machines. Beautiful music and vocals - both male and female. Includes a great cover of Imagine.
Fast non technical metal, which is the opposite of what I usually prefer if metal. Really short tracks. Terrible vocal. The recording sounds like shit.
Sample based electronic music from the 2000s. Samples from vinyl with a fair amount of static. Some occasional scratching. Lots of loops. Some tracks seamlessly transitions to the next which is really nice with this kind of music. Not heard before, but a lot of the samples are recognizable. Pretty interesting even though it is pretty chaotic - could easily have lost a couple of layers. The production does not sound very good, but that might as well be a choice to make it even more dirty.
Why haven’t I listened more to Common? I guess I lack Common sense! Great album with silk smooth beats, slick bars and he flows like hell. Only track I have heard before is the Kanye-produced GO! Hard to pick a favorite as all tracks are great. The intro that builds on one layer at the time is clever! This really reminded me about pre crazy Kanye times!
Absolute classic! FTP!
Funky and soulful pop. Nothing wrong with it in particular, but not super addicting either. Somehow feels like a cheaper version of MJ.
Non memorable British 2000s rock.
Post punk - exhaustive to listen to.
Late 60s very soft and mellow folk. Nice background music, but nothing that stands out a lot.
Goat 🎸🤘🐐
OK 60s rock.
Slow singer songwriter pop from the late 60s. Pretty chill.
Non memorable 60s rock. Crap sound quality.
A great album from one of the bands that I never understood the insane hype about. The music is great, but I’m not a fan of all the other bells and whistles. It is veeeery long.
OK soft 60s rock with arrangements and horns at some tracks. Leaning towards country at times.
British pop-rock. Nothing wrong with it, but not my thing.
For some reason, I’ve almost exclusively listened to “best of” albums from Marley, which I never do with other artists. Very cool to hear an actual studio album. Great album overall and a lot of killer tracks! Some tracks are a bit generic/very similar though.
90s rock. Head nodding worthy riffing, but never been a fan of the vocal and the lyrics sucks. And fuck, that screaming on Scentless Apprentice is terrible. Terribly performed and the recording sounds like shit - it makes my ears bleed.
Expected heavy metal or prog from the cover art and was surprised to hear what sounds like some kind of partly acoustic drum and bass variation with vocals. Hard to decide if I like this. Not an instant hit, but there is something interesting to it! Too long for a re listen at the moment. Giving it a 3 due to the varying quality of the tracks. Would probably have given it a 4 if it was shortened down by curating the track list more.
Straight forward rock and roll.
Beautiful live jazz piano💆♂️ Perfect for a rainy autumn day 🍁
British rock. OK if you remove the terrible vocal.
Funky and cheesy at the same time!
Beautiful jazz💆♂️Piano, saxes, trumpet and bass is perfect to me. Drums also really good, but maybe just a bit too free at times.
Hearing elements of blues and jazz at least, but also feels poppy at times. This genre blend didn’t work too well for me. Beautiful vocal.
Blends a lot of stuff: Reggae, rock and jazz at least. Sounds kind of weird.
Heavy rock with a poodle vocal. Not my favorite combo, but there are feel good “radio hits” in there like I Believe in a Thing Called Love and Love is Only a Feeling.
OK British rock
Slow 60s rock. Easy listen, but nothing that I must hear again.
Slow and dark singer songwriter stuff. Quite similar sounding tracks. Good lyrics. A bit boring.
Classic 2000s rock if such thing exists! Their best album in my opinion. Starts with the world’s most annoying track that has been ruined by drunk crowds singing it in request for encores at every single concert out there! It is actually a good track though 🤣
2000s British poppy rock. Catchy at times even though this kind of stuff is usually my thing.
OK to listen to, but I can’t really find a place for this in my listening habits - too much for when I want something ambient chill in the background and too little for when I want something more up tempo energetic.
Uninspiring British pop-rock. Good musicians. Hate the vocal. Boring.
Boring pop-rock. Slightly better than the last Talking Heads album on the list, but I don’t need any more now.
Very chill! Hard to place genre wise. Smooth vocals. Smooth piano. A bit jazzy at times.
My name is! Remembered this as a banger alum, but it didn’t age well compared to a lot of his other albums. The lyrics and skits especially. The beats are ok and the flow is remarkable as always.
Have been trying to understand the Dylan hype for years, especially since I know he is the main inspiration for many of my all time favorite artists like for example Adam Granduciel (The War on Drugs). I still don’t get it. The tracks are very repetitive/similar, the lyrics are very dated and have not aged well and the vocal is really not doing it for me.
Boring repetitive British rock.
Head banging worthy heavy rock. Lots of cool riffs. Not the biggest fan of the vocal.
Beautiful album. Easy listen. Love her voice. The bass sounds really good. Not as good as Rumours, but still great.
Pretty poppy rock. Catchy and a bit cheesy.
Story telling singing on top of piano and arrangements. Tom Waits vibes, without the whiskey voice.
Great pop album. Includes hits likt Girls Just Want to Have Fun and Time After Time. The vocal is a bit low in the mix on most tracks.
Powerful heavy rock🤘🤘
Liked the bluesy instrumental parts and not so much the rest.
Not very interesting. Feels like a lesser mix of a lot of other bands from the same era. Very repetitive instrumentation and lyrics. Vocal is probably better for pop than for this psych ish stuff. Feels a bit a-ha ish. Often not a fan of slapping a bunch of alternative versions of the original track list on the end of an album, and that applies here as well - pick the version you are the most happy with and stick with that. The rest can be released as singles for the collectors.
Lots of bangers on here like Exodus, Jamming, Three Little Birds and One Love.
Queen B had a great voice and voice control, no doubts about that. The production is great. The music is not for me.
Restrained prog with acoustic gitar and vocal. Lots of nice parts, but a bit boring at times. Really liked Mood for a Day and Heart of the Sunrise. Think this would work better for me as an instrumental band.
Slow 60s/70s rock. Did not catch my interest.
OK rock with bad vocal and terrible mix.
Second Willie Nelson album on the list so far and that’s 2 times 5 stars! Just straight up beautiful! 💆♂️
