1001 Albums Summary

A classic. Own it, love it.

Arabian Nights! The album reminds me of Transvision Vamp. No wonder, also British from the same era. Solid 3 in the beginning, but drops down to a 2. Don’t like it that much

Solid. Probably a 3, but kind of all tracks sound the same. Like Beatles x Simon and Garfunkel. Goes towards 2.

First track is already quite good. A 4 so far. Keeps going that way. Nice.

Lovely. First track is a 5. Falls to a mediocre 2 quickly. Still nice and melodic.

That’s what I call a classic. Starts out as a 4. Will probably be a 3 eventually, despite the hits. Paranoid. Iron Man. Drops to a 3. Stays there. Good album. Not sure how it’s considered the beginning of heavy metal?

Lovely. I really like the first track. Punk x Hard Rock. A 4. Second track also sounds great. Continues like that. Will be a 3 nevertheless.

Hm. This might be a long 41 minutes. Maybe a 2 for the first song with a lot of goodwill. My guess is it’s going to be a 1. Yep. A 1. Hate it

Melodic. Will be a 3. Solid. Quite entertaining, but not more.

Clear 5

Great first track. Starting strong with a 4. Lovely album. Great britpop. Like madness, with less ska. I didn’t know that Alright was a track on here or by them, which is a 5. Overall a 4.

Ah well. A 3.Maybe not even. Not that exciting. I get the experimental stuff etc but wouldn’t want to listen to it again. Will be a 2.

I don’t like rap. But I think this is a 3, perhaps even a 4. A solid 3 it is.

Outstanding start. My guess is a 4 at the moment. Really nice, definitely a 4. Perhaps a 5.

That’s another 5. Classic again.

Listening to the master instead of the 2007 remaster. Sounds interesting. But no five stars yet, I would guess a 3. Perhaps it’s going to grow on me? You can hear how they will become New Order.

Wow. Track 1 and it is going towards a five. That’s great stuff. What an amazing discovery. Goes down to a 4, the flow is a bit off. Don’t know how else to put it. Too good for a 3, not good enough for a 5. Has great potential, but it doesn’t seem coherent. Falls to a 3 towards the end
