liked it better than I thought ! Some great pop songs.
Superb. Already one of my favourite albums so I am pretty biased ! Every track is brilliant. Fake plastic trees topping the lot. Great videos as well.
Awful dull pop nonsense. Like a million other same sounding guff.
Nice 70s piano vibes.
Psycho killer is a banger but not for me the rest of it.
Really enjoyed listening to that for the first time in years ! Rockefeller skank still banging.
Superb
Not as poppy as i feared.
Really enjoyed this new york 80s post punk pop smash
Really excellent. His voice is incredible
Boom !
Cashes version of Hurt is brilliant.
Excellent trippy indy vibes
Continuity Beatles.
Thought id enjoy this more
I totally get its a brilliant cultural masterpiece but i cannot get on with the mumbling
Dull
U2’s *War* delivers raw energy and urgency, even if I’m not the biggest fan. “Sunday Bloody Sunday” stands out with its sharp political edge and fantastic drumming. While some tracks don’t fully grab me, the album shows flashes of greatness and a powerful rhythm section worth hearing.
*Le Tigre’s* self-titled album is a lively mix of pop and punk energy. I didn’t mind it at all — some tracks are surprisingly catchy, with bold, fun beats and sharp attitude. It’s quirky, energetic, and definitely worth a listen.
Superb prog psych rock classic
Pish
Fun pop rock. Off its time
Not my favourite
Meh
Quite bland. Change the drum loop lads
I dont think music gets better than Bowie at this point. Absolutely brilliant.
Dont really get why this is here. Do we need another who album ? Some good tunes but a lot of mediocre stuff.
Just a bit dull !
Okay starts off kinda country dull slop. lyrics a bit descriptive. This just sounds a bit try hard. The vocals seem like an affectation. Overall its just dull.
I only knew the big songs, but the full album showed me so much more—ideas are fresh, Left My Wallet in El Segundo is cool, and the whole thing flows with an ease that made me appreciate how confident Tribe already were on their debut.
I went in hoping for something that would surprise me, but Red Dirt Girl just didn’t land. I found it dull, full of familiar country tropes, and the storytelling was crap. Instead of feeling like I was on a country road, I mostly felt bored and disconnected. There must be a million better country albums than this?
Jazz schmazz. Enough already
Nice mellow blues / jazz / bit of funk ? Great voice
Dull lovey dovey nonsense.
The Weight is a classic piece of American pie.
Pleasant enough
Harmless fun.
Really surprised i wasnt into this back in the day. Very like ben folds five.
smoooooothh
Superb afro beats !
Soppy shite. Just bland run of the mill saturday tv family gameshow appearing drabness.
No thanks
Never really paid much attention to the cocteau twins before but really enjoyed it ! Dreamy proto shoegaze :)
Some doors style organ action
a low 2. Its not witty or funny huh.
Superb minimalism ambient
Its okay but soooo long !
Awesome samples stitched together by the legend.
Why the f is this here
Mediocre 2000s production blandness. God its dull.
I liked this album more than I expected. I loved the guy’s energy with the crowd and I don’t think I would have enjoyed it as much as a studio album. Glad it wasnt overly jazzy !
Better than a temu beatles but not that exciting
Never heard of them but like a hot chip mix up. Enjoyed !
Enjoyable footstomper.
folksy country noise. Its harmless but nothing special. Dull for me.
This is excellent ! Unusual, catchy, innovative. Superb find !
Not my thing. Sounds like a load of other 60s stuff on here but with worse vocals.
Terrible jazz
track 1 side 1 intro.....and we go ! :)
The Flaming Lips are still putting out cool, unusual albums and experimenting with new sounds. They’ve stayed creative and unpredictable decades into their career.
Superb. Quirky, funny and original. Loved it
just a bit dull
Superb. Proper hip hop
Grew on me. Pretty cool.
Excellent 👌
It does have some great songs but really its massively overrated on here.
Nope
Sheesh this is awful. Its just ranty kid stuff huh.
Fantastic, dark, gorgeous soundscapes and his awesome voice.
Didn't mind this. Relaxing
I have heard a few Rush tracks before but didnt really have a feel for them before listening to this. Kinda like a poundshop Led Zeppelin / who ? Its okay. Like a lot on this list it doesn't seem essential but 1001 is an awful big number.
What
Take five okay. Like all jazz the constant hi hat can GTF.
dull and twee
Nick Cave was always on my radar but this 1000 albums thing has really opened my eyes to what an Amazing artost
Its okay but its not his best and I don't think it is essential.
Superb !
Come on now. Nepo baby slop.
Astonished by the reviews on here. This is brilliant! Witty, dark, deliberately janky.
Very generic and pretty dull !
folk indy whimsy
A bit more Jazz than Steely Dan. Pleasant enough but a bit meh.
A bit too easy listening for me. Lovely voice though.
Enjoyed this more than i thought. proto nirvana !
Was okay.
Once in a lifetime is excellent but the rest just passed me by.
I dont get it. This is mince
