Too down tempo and jazzy for my liking. She does have a nice voice however.
Oh-no First Song - 4/5 Everything Else - 0.1/5 How did this album even make the list? Is it because it is a representative example of 80’s synth-pop?

Signs of things to come
Beautiful voice, yet apart from Son of a Preacher Man, the songs were largely forgettable.
Sounded kinda like Jeremy Fisher at times. Very progressive for the early 80’s methinks.
Would have given it 2.5 stars if I could have. A poor man’s Al Green.
As good as the water at Folsom Prison.
Interesting
It slaps.
Decidedly underwhelming; also, I didn’t realize how much of a Country/Western sound it has.
Slaps
If this album dropped thirty years earlier, Goebbels would have had a producer’s credit.
🤌
Shitty like a fruit stand in New York
Funky but not that Fresh
Respect what the band put out, but not really my cup of tea.
Atmospheric Excellence
Banish this to the 8th or 9th Circle of Hell.

On some songs, his voice has a bit too much of country twang for my liking, but that is my only complaint. Very enjoyable to listen to, would do so again.
The Shrek song was not bad, that is about it.
Too down tempo and jazzy for my liking. She does have a nice voice however.
These guys are alright.
Chef can sing.
🆗
Child in Time - 16/10
The first two tracks prevented this from being a single star outing with Madonna.
🤌
The non-tradition song structure and the tonsure look is interesting, but every track sounds very similar to the last, and the sound itself is quite repetitive.
Philly Kinda-Phresh
It isn’t really but sound, but I can tell she is extremely talented, and very cool in front of the microphone.
It was a chore for me to get through this album; not one song peaked the interest of my ears.
Boring ABBA. If that makes any sense. I like the album cover though.
Kinda like the Madonna album, there are two good songs and the rest are trash.
Fantastic voice. I wonder though, what would she would have sung about had she never had a bad breakup?
Really a 2.5 out of 5. The vocal-harmonies are just kinda off putting to me, but I understand that Good Vibrations is one of the most innovative Pop songs.
👎
Almost liked it but not quite.
This is probably good jazz but I don’t like jazz.
If someone could let the the developer know that there should be a .5 star option, that would be great.
Very surprised at how much I liked this album. It sounds more like something that would have been put out in the early 2000’s instead of 1990.
Despite her rough voice being the product of years of hardship, I’m not a fan of it.
Nothing much special after Imagine.
Quirky, but I like it.
Nope
Fella can toot that horn.
Definitely Not Really
Beautiful Album Art, everything else was 😑
I have to imagine that many of these tracks were quite progressive for their time. Trippy in a good way.
😴
In My Arms slaps with the force of 15 bricks in a burlap sack.
I don’t own a Vespa.
I’m buying what Robert is selling.
I’m not really buying what Mudhoney is selling.
Sweet Dreams saved this album from being 1/5.
A couple of killer tracks and then farts ‘till the end.
Amazing how diverse the songs are stylistically. Helter Skelter is probably the best smelling salt that the Beatles put out.
Disco is not dead.
Never again. Please.
Not bad
Strange, but interesting. Really 2.5 stars in my book.
Kind of reminds me of Kate Bush.
Not much of a thrill. Did like the album art though.
Not a fine of the guy’s lounge singer voice.
😴
Slaps just as it did in Gr. 10.
Kinda sounds like Sloan with a dash of Weezer.
Today’s forecast calls for music I don’t much like.
Brutal
More than a Feeling is quintessential Classic Rock.
Not awful, but it needed more Michael Bolton.
Apart from Every Breath you Take, not that great.
Kind of a sleepy album, yet A&E is an excellent song.
Quite enjoyable. Makes me think of the Black Keys.
Nope.
Nope
I didn’t know you could legally package 11 filler tracks around a decent song and call it an album.
Very interesting, quirky voice, but not quite my cup of tea.
