I am never a fan of live albums but for quality of a live album and for the time period this is a great record. I was never a fan of The Who but it doesn't mean that they are not a good band. I personally don't care for the Blues undertones that many of their songs have and I really think the the quality of sound is only good when you dedicate the time to listen to this on a good sound system. I listened to this today in the car and honestly there is so much lost while not giving this album your whole attention.

I felt like someone came up to me and handed me their mix tape they made in a garage. I feel like I would be listening to this band in some seedy underground club. Honestly I dig the appeal of the band and based on the year they made this album, they were definitely setting up a movement and not just another one following the movement. They were building their own scene. The album though was just a little silly lyrical wise and was more a BGM to my day than a listen on it's own.

The album felt smooth, relaxing. The recommendations that were soon to follow lead me into a multi-hour relaxing experience of smooth funk.

If someone asked me what I thought the 80's were like since I wasn't born, this album is what I feel the 80's was. Just the general vibe and sound. It's just funny to me.

I would have never thought this was Lo-Fi if I wasn't told beforehand. I honestly didn't think this was a great album at all. It wasn't till after the album ended that I got into what was playing on my music, only to find out it was someone else. This album wasn't bad or un-listenable, it just wasn't good.
