1001 Albums Summary

Interesting sound. This definitely defined the genre for DJ sounds and sampling. I like to only listen this in background while doing something.

Bowie sets the mood for the album on the first track. He is so good at it. The Next Day is triumphing return to Bowie sounds after dismal albums during the time. This album sounds like the Berlin Trilogy with modern sounds obviously gained from experience.

This albums surely influenced the World Music Genre and is really soothing to listen but, being of Psychedelic era sounds experimental. Music wise it's solid but, vocal and song keys sound off.

Not a fan of U2 but, this albums is really good.

Interesting album but, lacks more polish.

Wow, each track in this album is a banger. Blur really went all out for their eponymous album.

High energy. Thrash Metal. The album that defined Megadeth. But, lacks polish of the time.

THe energy, the guitar, no wonder it's a classic. Love the rythm Aerosmith was on during the period which produced other awesome albums too!

At first, I couldn't find this album on Apple Music or youtube music or anywhere, but later found someone had created a playlist of the tracks. I thought it was a forgotten album, maybe it's awesome. Then, I hear the lyrics saying they are army and have music that sounds like generic '60s sound. This isn't the album for me.

Of all albums that contain cover songs, this album ranks the highest. The songs are sung in Cash's own way and bring new melody about it. That's the genius about it. Five stars. Period.

What can be said about this album that already hasn't been said? It is a masterpiece. Full force of Led Zeppelin. Everything was clicking with the band where they went to peak on Led Zeppelin 4, but, this album is close to the peak.

I listened to this album recently. I don't like Taylor Swift. But, for this, I tried to be impartial and tried to separate “art from artist” and try to listen to this. The album, really, started to kick off from the second track and I like its Pop sound and the beats were good! Her singing sounded good too. I enjoyed it musically. But, I was left to yearn lyrically, it just contained the same buzz words, “ex love, red lips, dress, being free, being happy” etc. It felt like listening to the same song over and over again lyrically, but, musically, they were distinct and good. So, I enjoyed the beats and production of this album and also, Taylor's singing and voice. So it's a good 2/5. Had it been for more diversity in lyrics, I would rate it 3/5.

One of the best heavy metal albums with industrial sound ever!

This sounds like Damon Albarn without his musical and lyrical genius. Sounds like some lazy recordings.

Easily one of the best albums to come out in the 80s. The pop sound isn't over done. It's catchy and upbeat. Cyndi Lauper created a masterpiece. I don't understand why Madonna is more hyped when this album was there.

Classic. Smooth flow of rhythm and flow of rap. A Tribe Called Quest was a juggernaut in the hip hop genre. The debut album really set the tone for the group's career. A solid debut!

Not a good record. Sounds jumbled up with all kinds of beats. I like Thundercat on his contribution to Mac Miller's album, but this album is all over the place.

2-3 good songs, but it's a dull album. Not a fan of U2. I don't think I'm their audience. Sounds more pop than Rock to me. For the couple of songs, I can give it a 2, but that's already too high for my taste.

There's already so much has been said about this album, I don't believe I can add anything more to it. I'll just say it, it's the pinnacle of human's capability to make music.

Not the greatest Pixies album, but not bad album. In retrospective, the music is good.

The industrial sound, the Gothic rock music and the eerie vocals, really make this album special. Dark lyrics and heavy bass create a sense of tension while making you dance to the beat. It's an eccentric mix, but it sounds great!

Sounds like Nick Cave but with eccentric lyrics. It's not awful, but, it's an okay album.
