Oh my f God was this a great album. This is the second NCatBS album I've listened to since I started and I'm all on board. I will probably buy this one and it will be in my official at work rotation. I need to listen to it again. I was cleaning while listening and going through so many emotions. Like I said in my other review Nick Cave is someone I've known of for years but had mixed up for some reason with several other different artist none of whom sound anything like this band. I hope I have another 40 years of life left to get to enjoy and celebrate their catalogue and this album in particular. Just as solid as his 80s and 90s.
Nope. No way uh uh.
The title gave me the impression that this was going to be some dark shit. Some Emperor like band the were going to flex in my face. What I got were two noisy songs that sounded like it was recorded on a karaoke machine in 1977. I'm good.
This should have been their last album
Eh. I would have loved this as a 13 year old.
Come on...it's Revolver
This is a cool album but I don't know that I was in the right mood for this genre of music. This is an album I'll have to come back to later.
I was expecting this to be a cool album. It seemed like one song building toward something and already having heard that one song, Come on Eileen. It wasn't really building toward that song though was it. Whatever it was it was cool. Like it was written in hidden alleyways.
One of my all time favorite albums
This is surprisingly commercial, for Sonic Youth, in their pre Dirt days. Solid album.
A solid punk album. One that I've been meaning to listen to for 30 years and bow I have.
One of my all time favorite albums
Ugh
Just a couple years from the best two albums of the 90s and this is still a 5 star albbum
This is the first time I've listened to this album since it came out 22 years ago. I thought it was awful when I first heard it. This wasn't the Beck I grew up with! 22 years later I really liked it. I didn't understand the maturity that an artist wants to go through. A different way of telling their stories and sharing their art. This is an album I would buy on vinyl if I saw it out in the wild and one of the first from the 1001 that I don't already own that I wish I did.
The Sgt Pepper of the 1990s
I don't like the Eagles but this album is flawless. It's as if they put together their greatest hits and decided that a whole album should sound that good.
This is a solid album by a great band. Just a year away. From becoming the most underrated band of the 80s
This is a solid album. I like Classical music but it's something I only listen to during panic attacks and always something that I only keep digitally. This piece really moved me. I don't know enough to breakdown what makes any type of music good. I just know it's okay, good, really good or worth 5 stars. A 5 star album is an album that every song is solid. This is a 5 star album.
The Duke had arrived. Which artists today could go from an album like Diamond Dogs only to one year later make a totally different album like Young Americans. Two incredible but two very different albums. Young Americans is an incredibly solid album and one I've listened many times. Come on generator you've been suggesting great albums but all too familiar softballs. Challenge me.
The last solid George Michael album. I can appreciate that it's solid and has its audience but that audience is not me. I'm glad I got to listen to it most likely for the last time.

Genius lyrics Genius guitar and bass and drums and production. I always wondered how The Smiths weren't more famous than they are after this album.
I just didn't dig it. It wasn't bad but it wasn't me. Still I'm a little older after having listened
One of the greatest albums
It's just really good...a song or two away from perfect
I'm a hard-core fanatic and love Bad Brains though this album isn't their best maybe to some but it was cool to listen to for the first time in decades. Which is why I'm here.
Well it didn't save my original notes from when I saw this album pop up for the first time. It wasn't positive. This is a strange album in that it's not awful. It just sounds like so many things. Like somehow a more British version of Rubber Soul and Revolver. Which wild since those albums were written and played by an all British band while the Monkees are 3/4 American. Then you have the songs that sound like the ones they used for the chase scenes in Scooby-Doo Where are you. It's not awful but it's hard to take serious.
A great album that I've always thought was not meant to be great.
If you couldn't give this 5 stars you may have an ear infection
So it immediately starts off with the 80's ist of 80's songs. Almost 5 years out of vogue even for the 80s. But as the album goes on the vocals become familiar to me. The themes become familiar. Loneliness and all that. It starts to sound better. It starts to have more variety. It's Scott Walker. If you're European you probably know. If You're in your 70s you probably remember. Or if you were a hipster in the 2000s you got it. This was all very Paul Walker lite. The themes, the music the whole shebang. It's OK. Another one in the ba k.
It was a real.y good album
One of if not THE best live albums of all time. I was so excited that this album popped up (honestly this account of the generator is dropping one great album after the other. I probably have more 5 star ratings then my old main account) If you haven't listened to this album then you should really give it a try. It's a great introduction to the Thin Lizzy catalog. If only I were alive or rather old enough to have been able to see them live but since I wasn't I have this and it's pretty damn good.
This was a lot better than I imaged. It sounded like Eric Burden singing Morrissey lyrics while Frente plays in the background.
It's Abbey Road. I mean...come on.
Super awesome album. Ordered it on vinyl just as the last note was being played
Fine album. I've not liked it as much as time has but what do I know.
Eh
This was a sad one and fit the mood of the day. I probably gave it a hole star for that...that's not true. It deserves them all
When I first heard this album in the early 90s I could not believe that this album came out in the early 80s. It's a popular album but I don't know that it truly get the accolades it deserves for what it brought to the table for music. I'm sure you could name any number of albums that came out in the 80s and say that was a better album than the Violent Femmes debut but that said better album sounds like the time it came out. This eponymous album is mfing timeless.
Nope. No way uh uh.
Yeah that's the stuff
The title gave me the impression that this was going to be some dark shit. Some Emperor like band the were going to flex in my face. What I got were two noisy songs that sounded like it was recorded on a karaoke machine in 1977. I'm good.
Young doesn't really make bad albums. There's a few that are better than others and this one of the better thans.
Average. His first two albums is his peak but this album is aight
Honestly I didn't listen to the whole album. It's 4 hours long. But what I did listen to, well, it's Ella's at her height doing Gershwin. Top notch. Too long but solid music.
Another album I wouldn't give a time a day. My co worker has been trying to get me to listen to this forever. They're influenced by Pavement he says. I say are we not men? Men don't listen to this estrogen rock. But alas it was me the fool and it took a generator to figure me in. F RFKJR BTW
Eh. I was told this album would put me in a mood. Take me to a dark place but I was already there. It may have been wrong place wrong time wrong people around me situat. I had a migraine and I was at work and it just came off as noisy. I'll come back to it.
No comment needed. It's Bruce Springsteen Born in the USA. Either you get it or you dont.
Don't youn forget about me listening to this album all y myself.
It's bad.
Another what can i say that hasn't been said album. It's place in history is set. And it's been on my rotation list heavily for awhile
Solid album from a solid band. Another album that's been on heavy rotation in my vinyl collection.
Zero expectations going in. Never heard of the dude. I'm a fan. One of those albums that's the whole reason I started this account. To hear something new.
It's okay.
Hate Christmas albums but this one if perfektaschlaug
Eh
Highly recommended for those who have anxiety
This was a lovely album either a funny story behind it. I also gave a great speech at work on why we should listen to it at work even I'd never heard it before. Though if you're wondering what it sounds like we'll it sounds like all of 120 Minutes. Those who know know.
The critics love this album. A lot of people pretend to like this album. David Bowie doesn't remember making this album.
The perfect anti anxiety music beautiful
Ehrlich and all of this week's homework for you when you're done I'm sure you have the advantage to get the best birthday gift from your friends made by writer artist deserves their attention to government
It'd be a 5 star album if it weren't for those weird haircuts on the cover
One of the best albums ever recorded
This is the first time I've knowingly listened to Taylor Swift and as far as pop albums go yeah it's a good pop album but it's just not music written for me. But i can'tdeny that its good.
One of ,y all time favs
Are you getting it. I'm a getting it.
Always a good time
Pretty solid
Please no more. This is twice I've been tortured with these notes
Not a U2 fan but this is a great pop album
Very nice
Very very
Nice
Zappa has soooo many albums but this is the one to own. This is Zappa coming into his own
Brilliant. Perfect album
One of the all time greats. Perfect album. Better than most greatest hits
