vai mulher reage bota um cropped
Yeah it’s the fucking Beatles and I love some of these songs but I won’t lie at some point it got so boring that I opened my linkedin and still had the full disc 2 to hear
The album won 4 Grammys, peaked at number one in 17 countries and has a score of 2.9 here. My feeling of being surrounded by straight men is confirmed!
These bells keep pushing my brain to feel like I’m listening to a Christmas album without all the joy
please remaster this cover
rated velvet underground so low that almost missed this masterpiece
it could be a 3 but it’s too long
began to lose focus/interest in the middle of the album, but once I read about the context of the lyrics I could enjoy the slow ones (very deep!) and got back to enjoying the second half to end
the fourth star is because i though i was listening to some 2000’s songs, or at least 90’s… it’s from 1972 and their debut album wow!
wouldn’t go back to this unless i were a dj to remix something or someone in charge of choosing soundtracks for dark scenes in a movie
oh god i was going to listen to this thinking of oprah instead of queen latifah... once i realised who's who i could enjoy way more. great vibesss
i don't knowww… skipping the first one i kinda like the ambient vibes? weird to be on this list though
i'm giving 4 stars to an instrumental jazzy vibes album who am i
too american dream for me. couldn't care less. but it's not the worst
never heard of her and now i'm obsessed. the songs, the lyrics, her life story. she gave an interview in fucking 1970 saying she was "capable of being swayed by a boy or a girl". omg a truly queer icon who wasn't afraid!! although i know this cost her a lot. son of a preacher man changed my brain chemistry. as someone else said here, breakfast in bed is so gay! i wish i knew this song when i was living the same. the windmills of your mind starts so lana del rey coded. i'm listening to this album nonstop as if i had nothing else to do with my life
as every jazz album I lost interest at some point but this was the most enjoyable of all I’ve heard so far. appreciate not having those high pitched horns. if someday I find myself wanting to play jazz this is what I’ll go for but skipping the last song
great chill acoustic vibes
ok there are some interesting things here, but mainly not listenable as a finished music album
vampire vibes! banger lyrics! no skips! yes! yes! yes! if I discover one of these every 100 albums I'm happy with this list 👌
i like the elements, i feel i could like this if they were used in different ways.. but better to listen to something this weird as another unmemorable american or british rock band from the 60s/70s
i thought that i'd hate it but if you skip some parts it's very interesting and fun
nice background listen overall, but as someone said there's basically no song in this
i like the concept and could listen to this in a chill morning or evening if his voice wasn’t so annoying and/or the music had any evolution.. the vibe was nice at the beginning but by music 8 i was like ok is that all so why is this so long
there’s nothing visibly wrong with them but don’t know why i just can’t enjoy how everything sound together. tried a second listen on spellbound after reading so many great reviews and ok this one is nice
well what can i say? it’s a two track jazz album, i know i’m physically incapable of enjoying this and i was right. some ups and downs but by the minute 20 i was so bored that started cleaning my bathroom
this requires a state of mind that I’m usually never in, but they sound good
great vibes, straight to the point, incredible performance! not sure i’m getting back to this because of the live poor recording quality but it was a fun experience
if he could pick the 10 best songs this would be a 3 or even a 4 stars album
this is the band from that music! great beat, very fun but oh god why so long
one thing this experience taught me is that i like reggae a lot, at least the 70's ones i had listened to so far. a shame it's a genre labeled as music for stoned people and not widespread in mainstream as much as it deserved. this is top tier no skip
definitely not enjoyable but it makes me think how creatively this can be used in some contexts. that's what i like about this experience. the cover is cool. that being said yeah the music is horrible
mostly painful
i wish more unknown albums in this list where as catchy, funny and well played/produced as this
crazy to think the first seconds of this are instantly recognisable almost 70 years later
overall very interesting sound and how they blend different genres but it felt like 5 hours
this sounds so much better than other acclaimed country records that I was surprised it has such a low score here. I guess I don’t know much about this genre. I had a lot of fun!
if you don't pay attention to the lyrics it just becomes background music at some point
i though this was one of that "you had to be there" and was also considering the year, but after checking other albums released at that time there's no excuse to be this much noise of a record
during my first listen I was doing heavy cleaning at home so was an easy 5 stars. now I see it was probably because it seemed more pleasant than what I was doing. still not bad though
as a Brazilian not born yet when this was launched, it's incredible to know it was the first non-North American album to win AOTY. many of the songs are recnognisable from the most remarkable soap operas we've ever had, most of them popularised by the screenwriter and director Manoel Carlos who we've sadly lost this week. if you like this, try Pela Luz dos Olhos Teus (my favourite) and Só Tinha de Ser Com Você, from Jobim
