I wasn’t a fan of the opener but after that it got good fast “I Need A Man To Love” and “Summertime” show a bit more of Joplin’s softer vocals and “Piece Of My Heart” is obviously amazing and shows off her fantastic vocals. The next two tracks were also very good and “Ball And Chain” was a fantastic closer

I’m far from a reggae fan. However I always liked Bob Marley. I don’t love this record however. I love the opener “Concrete Jungle”, the guitar work and harmonies are excellent. I love the R&B sound and Tosh’s vocals on “Stop That Train”, personally I’ve always found “Stir It Up” to be incredibly boring, and I love “Baby We’ve Got A Date”, ultimately the band is in good form, Marley’s vocals are lovely and there are some real highs but the beats are so similar and many of the songs are very repetitive which loses the album some points
