Popular Reviews

A great album. Stripped back versions of great songs in Cash’s very obviously unique style. I enjoyed it a lot

Black Monk Time by The Monks

Another band I probably would have loved 30 years ago. Not sure I enjoyed it too much now though. Good fun for a bit then I got a bit too bored of the same sound over and over.

Five Leaves Left by Nick Drake

Every song is an absolute dream. Probably his best album - not that there’s any bad ones.

Stephen Stills by Stephen Stills

Criminally underrated songwriter. Brilliant album

My Generation by The Who

Actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Still not my fav rock band but some excellent songs I did not know.

Every song is an absolute dream. Probably his best album - not that there’s any bad ones.

It was ok. That’s the best I can say about it. Had to listen in a couple of chunks as it all just was a bit samey after a bit.

Heavy Weather by Weather Report
Oct 09 2025

Not a bad listen. Just not particularly engaging after the first track. Pleasant enough.

Oct 17 2025

A bit of a hidden gem. As good now as it was when it came out.

My Generation by The Who
Oct 20 2025

Actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Still not my fav rock band but some excellent songs I did not know.

Oct 21 2025

A great album. Stripped back versions of great songs in Cash’s very obviously unique style. I enjoyed it a lot

Teen Dream by Beach House
Oct 22 2025

A bit insipid and uninspiring. Nice enough for background but never grabbed my attention really.

Damaged by Black Flag
Oct 23 2025

Not for me. Some great riffs and music spoilt by vocals that just seemed unnecessarily aggressive in an unpleasant way.

The Yes Album by Yes
Oct 24 2025

How have I not listened to more Yes at this stage of my life? Incredible. Engaging from first song to last. Not too prog but great musicianship and banger tunes.

Not his best but still pretty damn good.

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Oct 28 2025

Brilliant album. Some of my fav Chili tracks on it.

Phaedra by Tangerine Dream
Oct 29 2025

Nice enough soundscapes and would probably be great for working to as background but over all didn’t really engage me.

Off The Wall by Michael Jackson
Nov 03 2025

Love early MJ. A great album with one or two hidden gems along with the well known bangers.

1999 by Prince
Nov 04 2025

A strange album for me. Some well known great songs, some lesser known bangers too. But then some duds in there. It’s still Prince though…..

Toys In The Attic by Aerosmith
Nov 05 2025

Cracking American rock album with some all time classics on.

In Rainbows by Radiohead
Nov 06 2025

Still not my favourite Radiohead album but it’s got hot competition! Brilliant none the less.

The Wildest! by Louis Prima

Funeral by Arcade Fire
Nov 11 2025

A classic album full of top quality songs.

Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
Nov 12 2025

A classic of the genre, which was never my fav genre but there is no doubt this is a great album.

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Nov 13 2025

Full of their hits and I remember loving it at the time. Doesn’t quite hit the same heights listening back today but still an enjoyable album.

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Nov 14 2025

Another one of those beloved albums/ artists that I just don’t quite get on with. Not that it’s a bad album - I still really enjoyed it, with the famous songs being the highlights. Just not quite for me.

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Nov 18 2025

One of my fav Dylan albums. Hits the right spot between his folky era and starting to get a little more rock. Some of my favourite tracks of his.

Teenager Of The Year by Frank Black
Nov 19 2025

I’d have probably loved this if I’d heard it back when it was released. Now, it was an ok listen. Nothing about it particularly blew me away. And 22 songs is a LOT.

Nov 20 2025

Like Bueno Vista SC goes lo-fi. Very enjoyable but felt a bit like background music - never quite fully engaged me.

Coat Of Many Colors by Dolly Parton
Nov 21 2025

Fab album by a fab singer. Maybe a touch too “country” for my taste but some absolutely brill songs and I would 100% listen again.

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Nov 24 2025

Not my favourite Stevie album. But that’s like saying which one of your children you prefer. Unbelievably good.

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Nov 26 2025

Classic Zappa. Zany, meandering, jazzy awesomeness.

Nov 28 2025

80s is probably my least favourite decade. And although this has some great tunes it does nothing to dissuade me of that notion. An ok listen.

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Dec 01 2025

I boomerang with this album between it being one of my fav and underrated Bowie albums, to thinking it’s one of his weaker ones. Drive-In Saturday & Time are two of my fav Bowie songs ever. But there’s one or two filler songs in there. Still brilliant though.

Blur by Blur
Dec 02 2025

A period of blue that is not my favourite but still a good listen with a couple of standout tracks.

Life Thru A Lens by Robbie Williams
Dec 03 2025

Not really my thing but I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it at all and actually there are a few songs I didn’t know on there that I did enjoy. Not dreadful.

School's Out by Alice Cooper
Dec 04 2025

Everyone knows the title track but actually this is a terrific album full of great rock songs. Stands the test of time pretty well and definitely influenced many artists that came after.

Moon Safari by Air
Dec 08 2025

Lo-fi delights all the way. Such a brilliant chilled album.

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
Dec 09 2025

Enjoyable but didn’t quite hit the heights I had expected.

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Dec 10 2025

Not bad but I’m afraid done nothing to change my (controversial!) opinion that Winehouse is a bit overrated…. Sorry!

Music From Big Pink by The Band
Dec 11 2025

The Band are legendary, however I feel like there’s a mix here of some of their all time classics and some more mediocre fare. Still a very enjoyable listen though.

Crime Of The Century by Supertramp
Dec 12 2025

How have I got this far in my life and not listened to much Supertramp. Absolutely blew me away. Great album with absolutely no skips.

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
Dec 15 2025

Another listen did nothing to change my opinion on The Smiths. Underwhelming

OK Computer by Radiohead
Dec 16 2025

What can you say that hasn’t already been said? One of the greatest albums ever made. Incredible

Fever Ray by Fever Ray
Dec 17 2025

Not a band I had any awareness of and enjoyed this album. A very chilled but engaging listen.

Dec 18 2025

Have always loved this album. And aveelisten did nothing to change my mind. Full of great songs with Bill’s unique voice. Beautiful

Ritual De Lo Habitual by Jane's Addiction
Dec 19 2025

What is it about certain albums/ bands? On paper this should be one of my fav albums of all time. I was listening to this sort of stuff at the time and it SHOULD be my bag. But I didn’t like it at the time and I still don’t really like it now. And I can’t put My finger on why….? It’s not awful but I never choose to listen to it. Which says a lot.

Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder
Dec 22 2025

stevie is the greatest and this is one of his best. Nothing else to say really.

Tommy by The Who
Dec 23 2025

Great as a concept and some good songs on the album but listening to it now I was a little bored after the first 20 mins or so. All sounds a little too samey after a bit.

Birth Of The Cool by Miles Davis
Dec 24 2025

An exceptional album by a legend of the genre. Obviously great

The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths
Jan 05 2026

The Smiths. I’ve reviewed one of their other albums on here. Still not heard anything to change my mind that they’re just not very good. Mare’s guitar about the only bright spot in an otherwise dreary landscape. Did not enjoy.

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Jan 06 2026

Obviously packed full of their greatest hits, which I love. However the filler songs are a bit bland and the production is not great. A great album let down slightly by a few things.

The Predator by Ice Cube
Jan 07 2026

Not really my thing but does have one of the greatest songs of all time in “It Was a Good Day”. Overall enjoyed it more than I thought it would would.

Close To You by Carpenters
Jan 08 2026

Packed full of hits that you know. Very nice to reminisce and enjoy them however not sure I would listen again.

Liege And Lief by Fairport Convention
Jan 09 2026

I find Folk Rock awkward as I love Folk Rock and I love Rock. But somehow don’t particularly enjoy the combination of both into one. Having said that it was an enjoyable listen.

Jan 12 2026

Even with one or two songs I enjoy on here (The Scientist etc) I still can’t quite get up enough enthusiasm for Coldplay. They’re good at what they do, but it’s not for me

Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis
Jan 13 2026

It’s Miles Davis. Not sure there’s much more to say - if you like jazz then you absolutely need to listen to this album. If not then give it a go anyway!

Heaux Tales by Jazmine Sullivan
Jan 14 2026

Wow. Not my usual genre so thought I wasn’t going to enjoy it much. Definitely outdid my expectations. An enjoyable and tuneful listen. Much better than expected

Live At The Regal by B.B. King
Jan 15 2026

I love blues. I love BB. However a lot of it in one go actually wasn’t as enjoyable as I thought it would be. But maybe that’s a me thing. Obviously one of the masters of blues guitar.

Chelsea Girl by Nico
Jan 16 2026

Obviously iconic. However, a full album of the same thing got a little boring after a bit. Deserves to be held up as a classic, important album but I’m just not sure I want to listen to the whole album in one go.

Play by Moby
Jan 19 2026

Still stands up after all this time. A great album full of tunes that you know.

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Jan 20 2026

I love ELO. I love this album. Some of their greatest hits but also some album gems too. Incredible listen.

Exit Planet Dust by The Chemical Brothers
Jan 21 2026

Was never really my bag but still a great album with one or two tracks that I loved at the time. Nice to revisit - didn’t feel like it had aged badly at all.

Dig Me Out by Sleater-Kinney
Jan 22 2026

Didn’t really connect with this too much. Was ok in patches but overall listening experience was not that enjoyable.

Elephant by The White Stripes
Jan 27 2026

What can you say about White Stripes that hasn’t already been said. Jack White is an incredible guitarist and writer of riffs. And Meg shines in her own right as a drummer and vocalist. Awesome stuff

Punishing Kiss by Ute Lemper
Jan 28 2026

Some great arrangements of amazing songs with great collaborations. It was all a bit the same though. Still enjoyed it.

Black Monk Time by The Monks
Jan 29 2026

Another band I probably would have loved 30 years ago. Not sure I enjoyed it too much now though. Good fun for a bit then I got a bit too bored of the same sound over and over.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Jan 30 2026

Love Tom Petty and this early album him and the band sound almost Rolling Stones-esque. Great rock and roll songs. Loved it.

Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
Feb 02 2026

Not really the side of jazz I enjoy all that much. Felt like elevator music to me - nothing to engage me. Sorry

Blackstar by David Bowie
Feb 03 2026

Not Bowie’s best work in my opinion. But still truly incredible and just shows how he never stopped evolving.

Olympia 64 by Jacques Brel
Feb 05 2026

Jacques Brel. What can you say - just one of the greatest song writers of all time. Amsterdam is a masterpiece but every song on here is equally well crafted. Only downside is it’s not long enough!!

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
Feb 06 2026

Hit after hit. Doesn’t sound dated either - just great tunes all round.

Be by Common
Feb 09 2026

I enjoyed this much more than I thought I was going to. Great samples, beats, and felt very melodic in places.

Are You Experienced by Jimi Hendrix
Feb 10 2026

Some of Jimi’s best on here. Thoroughly enjoyable album that showcases him as the extraordinary guitarist he was.

Cypress Hill by Cypress Hill
Feb 11 2026

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would - not my usual type of music but I know and like their big hits and this album was more of the same sort of thing.

Lust For Life by Iggy Pop
Feb 12 2026

What a great album. Everyone knows the couple of big hits on there, but the rest of the album is brilliant. Some absolute underrated bangers. Very very enjoyable listen.

One World by John Martyn
Feb 13 2026

Never really listened to John Martin and after this won’t be rushing to listen to more. Found it really uninspiring and struggled to get through the whole album.

Feb 16 2026

To say this is not really my genre, I totally ADORE this album. Absolutely jam packed with brilliant songs, great samples, incredible beats. Just my fav hip hop album ever I think.

Hotel California by Eagles
Feb 17 2026

A great album that even without the title track stands up pretty well. Well crafted songs that I enjoyed revisiting.

Peggy Suicide by Julian Cope
Feb 18 2026

A really hard one to pin down. There were moments that I thought I was REALLY enjoying it, other moments where I really didn’t, but the majority of the time was just ok.

Horses by Patti Smith
Feb 19 2026

A bit embarrassed that I’ve never listened to this before. Some great songs, some ok ones but overall worth the hype and I should’ve listened much much sooner.

I See You by The xx
Feb 20 2026

An ok album that I didn’t NOT enjoy. But I don’t think I’d be in any rush to listen again or to more xx stuff. Just ok.

Achtung Baby by U2
Feb 24 2026

I never liked U2 back in the day, and relistening to it all these years later has not changed that opinion. Really not to my tastes.

2112 by Rush
Feb 27 2026

Never really listened to Rush before to my shame. Sort of a prog rock Iron Maiden. So obviously I enjoyed it immensely

The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett
Mar 03 2026

Absolutely incredible. Like a jazz improvisation on studio ghibli themes. Mesmerising and joyous. Absolutely blown away by this album

At Fillmore East by The Allman Brothers Band
Mar 04 2026

I love The Allman Brothers but honestly some of it gets a bit self indulgent after a bit. I know it’s live and everyone wants that 10 minute guitar solo but when it takes you 80 minutes to play 7 songs I’m a bit bored by track 3.

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Mar 05 2026

The boss at his most introspective. Not my fav album of his but still an enjoyable listen.

Hounds Of Love by Kate Bush
Mar 10 2026

Unbelievable album and artist. Still love this as much today as I did when I discovered it. Brilliant

Remain In Light by Talking Heads
Mar 11 2026

Some interesting songs, and at least one of their biggest hits. Not an unpleasant listen but not one I’ll rush to listen to again.

Halcyon Digest by Deerhunter
Mar 12 2026

Wasn’t really a fan. None of the songs really grabbed me and felt very background music like. Pleasant enough but nothing special.

The Colour Of Spring by Talk Talk
Mar 13 2026

Not one of my favourite bands. But I did actually enjoy this overall.

On The Beach by Neil Young
Mar 17 2026

As a pretty big Neil Young fan it’s a bit embarrassing that this album completely passed me by. Some great tracks with Youngs usual guitar led style. Very enjoyable just not QUITE as good as some of his more famous/ popular albums.

The Man Who by Travis
Mar 18 2026

An ok album. Some great pop songs, some filler. Evens out to a slightly above average album that was an enjoyable revisit.

Mar 19 2026

Actually really really enjoyed this album. I really wanted not to but it was epic with a number of absolute masterpieces.

Mar 20 2026

I really appreciate this style of music and enjoyed this for a couple of songs. Then it just got a little repetitive for my taste. Not really my thing but ok.

Beauty And The Beat by The Go-Go's
Mar 23 2026

Another band I had heard of but never listened to. Very good album - enjoyed it a lot.

I Should Coco by Supergrass
Mar 24 2026

One of my fav albums of the 90s and possibly one of the best debuts in that era too. Great catchy songs that have stuck with me over the years. Maybe sounds a teeny bit dated now but still incredible

Melody A.M. by Röyksopp
Mar 26 2026

Incredible how an album can take you back to a specific place and time and remind you of certain people. An album that is unmistakable even now. Timeless tunes that still hold up today.

Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin
Mar 27 2026

Perhaps not led zepellins best but still an incredible album. Great rock n roll album with some brilliantly catchy riffs

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
Mar 31 2026

A great pop rock album and full of catchy tunes, big hits and lesser known gems. Excellent listen

The Libertines by The Libertines
Apr 08 2026

A mixture of the usual Libertines chaos and some great softer moments. A real masterpiece of early 2000s indie.

It's A Shame About Ray by The Lemonheads
Apr 09 2026

Such a nostalgia trip for me with a couple of moments that still transport me back to the nineties. Maybe hasn’t aged as well as some other albums from that era but still a good listen.

Mothership Connection by Parliament
Apr 13 2026

A legendary band and album. Seventies funk at its absolute peak. A great listen that just keeps finding new ways to get you grooving.

Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs by Derek & The Dominos
Apr 14 2026

An album/ band I didn’t really know all that well (apart from Layla). And this was packed full of great songs that kept me interested all the way through.

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Apr 15 2026

This was a varied and really enjoyable album. Some bangers, some beauty. All round I really enjoyed it.

Django Django by Django Django
Apr 16 2026

An enjoyable listen but not really my thing. A bit too happy and pop for me. But didn’t make me want to switch it off. :D

Aha Shake Heartbreak by Kings of Leon
Apr 17 2026

A good rock/ indie album that I enjoyed although nothing really stood out track wise for me. Just a solid all round album

Born In The U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen
Apr 21 2026

Not my favourite era of Springsteen but still a great album full of classics

There's A Riot Goin' On by Sly & The Family Stone
Apr 22 2026

I thought I would enjoy this album much more than I did but it just didn’t quite hit the spot. Still enjoyable enough though.

Calenture by The Triffids
Apr 23 2026

A band I’d not heard of but a good listen. Early nineties but with definite 80s pop vibe. Nothing spectacular but enjoyable.

Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Apr 24 2026

Never really saw the appeal of Cocteau Twins and this certainly hasn’t changed my mind. Just nothing particularly interesting or exciting for me.

Home Is Where The Music Is by Hugh Masekela
Apr 28 2026

An interesting mix of jazz and African rhythms. Had some stand out tracks and some that washed a bit over me. But overall a good, catchy listen

Ocean Rain by Echo And The Bunnymen
Apr 29 2026

Classic 80s nostalgia. Still one or two tracks that I love, sadly the rest of the album feels dated and a bit average.

Let's Stay Together by Al Green
Apr 30 2026

Amazing voice and one of my all time fav songs on the album. What’s not to love.

Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division
May 01 2026

I have never really got Joy Division. None of their songs really make me feel much so not my cup of tea.

Live / Dead by Grateful Dead
May 07 2026

I really really wanted to like this but 20 minute meandering songs with no real hook and fairly boring solos were just not for me.

May 12 2026

A good but not great funk album. Some enjoyable bass licks and guitar riffs. An enjoyable background listen.

Architecture And Morality by Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark
May 13 2026

Never my favourite band. An ok listen but not one of them really grabbed me.

Paris 1919 by John Cale
May 14 2026

The title track is a firm favourite but I was surprised how much o found the rest of the album a bit dull and ordinary. I do generally like JC but most of the album was just a bit ordinary.

The Stranger by Billy Joel
May 15 2026

One of my all time favourites. Packed full of great songs

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
May 18 2026

Great rock album full of big hits but the lesser known songs also shine. Only thing I’m not really keen on is Mick’s vocals but still a cracking album

Mermaid Avenue by Billy Bragg
May 21 2026

Not really sure what I thought of this - might take a few more listens. Love Wilco, never been a fan of Bragg, and that kind of was the theme. Some fab songs, some duds. Will definitely listen again though.

Siembra by Willie Colón & Rubén Blades
May 22 2026

Interesting mix of South American vibes and funk vibes. Faded into background music a bit after a bit though.

Boston by Boston
May 25 2026

I knew the big hits which are here, but it’s the lesser known songs that really shine for me. Really enjoyed getting to know them and it made the whole album a great listening experience

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
Jun 02 2026

A great album from a truly remarkable song writer. Keeps you hooked from start to finish with lots of variation in sounds.

Faust IV by Faust
Jun 03 2026

A weird one, hated it at first, then quite liked it, then sort of ambivalent to it. Not really my sort of thing at all but didn’t switch it off….. 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

The College Dropout by Kanye West
Jun 04 2026

Another Kanye album I really wanted to dislike. But sadly I quite enjoyed it. Not as much as the other one I reviewed for this but pretty listenable with some great samples made into catchy songs.

Definitely Maybe by Oasis
Jun 08 2026

Definitely maybe one of my least favourite bands from this era. A couple of ok songs but really not my thing at all.

Maxinquaye by Tricky
Jun 10 2026

A great album even though triphop wasn’t really my thing. Enjoyable to revisit some of these songs

Roxy Music by Roxy Music
Jun 11 2026

Having never really listened to Roxy Music before, they were not what I was expecting! I thought they were 80s pop! Loved this - great album and I will definitely be exploring more by then.

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Jun 16 2026

Just an ok album for me. Nothing really grabbed me by the scruff of the neck. Some ok pop tunes but pretty forgettable overall

Pacific Ocean Blue by Dennis Wilson
Jun 17 2026

Lovely album and unmistakably a Wilson brother. Reminiscent of the softer moments of the BB but with a twist. Really enjoyed it

Rattus Norvegicus by The Stranglers
Jun 18 2026

Probably my favourite band of this style of music. Some big hits, unexpectedly great less well known songs but one or two fillers. Great album none the less.

GI by Germs
Jun 19 2026

Not for me. Just not a gente I particularly enjoy.

A Seat at the Table by Solange
Jun 24 2026

A great album full of a mix of Solange’s smooth R&B and guest performers adding brilliant collaborations. Really great listen.

Marquee Moon by Television
Jun 25 2026

A perfectly nice listen but just didn’t feel the impact of the overall experience. A bit too samey all the way through which caused me to switch off slightly.

Smile by Brian Wilson
Jun 26 2026

A classic mix of Wilson songs with the sunny harmonies we’ve come to associate with his work. Lacks some of the star quality/ big hits of the BB albums though.

Arrival by ABBA
Jun 30 2026

Some of their biggest hits here so if you like Abba you’ll love this album. For me it was enjoyable but not spectacular

Jul 03 2026

Thought this wouldn’t really be my sort of thing but actually an album packed full of great 80s songs. That appealed to me more than a lot of other 80s music. Very enjoyable.

Bitches Brew by Miles Davis
Jul 07 2026

No doubt Miles is a genius. And no doubting this is an album of great musicians at the top of their game. It’s just not quite for me.

Jul 08 2026

Never heard of this band before and actually pretty pleasantly surprised. I usually am fairly ambivalent to most punk but this was inventive, fun and pretty good on the whole.

The United States Of America by The United States Of America
Jul 09 2026

Not my cup of tea I’m afraid. Felt like there wasn’t enough “substance” to a lot of it. May warrant another listen though.

Jul 14 2026

Very very country. So not really my thing - I enjoyed one or two tracks but a whole album of this felt like a LOT.

New Wave by The Auteurs
Jul 16 2026

Strange one - I felt like I enjoyed it more than I thought I would but also wasn’t blown away by it. An ok album to have on in the background

The Contino Sessions by Death In Vegas
Jul 17 2026

This was not for me at all. Just did nothing to excite me and I barely got through the album tbh.

Private Dancer by Tina Turner
Jul 22 2026

Great album. Big hits but the lesser known songs are where I really enjoyed it. Some real hidden gems. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Yank Crime by Drive Like Jehu
Jul 29 2026

Absolutely not for me. Don’t even really know why but I did not enjoy at all. Might have to give it another go in case I was just in a bad mood :D

Either Or by Elliott Smith
Jul 30 2026

On paper I should LOVE Elliott Smith. And I know he’s loved by many……but. I just can’t get on with him. And I don’t even know why. It’s ok - but just something about it doesn’t speak to me.

Faith by George Michael
Jul 31 2026

An absolute powerhouse of a pop album. Incredible from start to finish. Brilliant

The White Album by Beatles
Aug 03 2026

Although I’m not the biggest Beatles fan there is no doubting they are incredible and this album especially is up there as one of the all time greats.

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Aug 04 2026

Iron Maiden were MY band growing up. I had everything they did and revisiting this - although not their best - was an absolute joy.

Is This It by The Strokes
Aug 05 2026

Up there with some of my favourite debut albums. Great catchy songs with a pretty unique (at the time) sound. Great listen.

Technique by New Order
Aug 06 2026

I’ve never really understood the hype with New Order, and although this was a good listen, it didn’t really change my mind. Ok songs, nothing spectacular but I enjoyed listening to it.

Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones
Aug 07 2026

A brilliant album - maybe just misses out on top marks because it sounds a little dated now but I still love it. Especially the less well known gems.

Safe As Milk by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
Aug 13 2026

Was very much standard Captain Beefheart for me. Some great songs and some I did not get at all. Overall an ok listen.

Here Are the Sonics by The Sonics
Aug 14 2026

Interesting one. Some recognisable songs that others have covered and made more famous. But overall I just didn’t quite like the “sound” they made enough for this to be top tier.
