Didn’t love it, didn’t hate it. It did feel all a little bit like noise by the end. I probably would have liked it more if I’d heard it in the nineties when this was more my thing.
Just masterful musicianship. Every note in every song feels exactly right. Awesome
I’ve heard better jazz trio albums. And I’ve heard worse. Just not my thing and got a bit same after a bit.
Maybe not my fav S&G album but brilliant nonetheless the less
Better than Rumours in my opinion. Loved it
Some great songs but overall not my fav grunge album
A bit dated now. The odd good song but overall wasn’t really my thing..
Enjoyable album but didn’t blow me away
Didn’t blow me away but was an ok listen
Elliott Smith on paper is an artist I should totally love. But I don’t. Weird
Not my fav prog rock album. No doubting they’re all brilliant musicians and one or two songs I enjoyed.
Still as good listening today as it was when I first heard it. Superb
Not Hendrix’s best imo but still a great listen
Hard not to love - epic combo of songs and voice. A little over long is the only negative.
Some great songs. Some filler. But over all I enjoyed it
Not my favourite listen. Pleasant enough but never really grabbed my attention.
A great debut full of rock classics. Maybe not my favourite listen RS album but still a cracking listen
Not my fav type of music but this album still engaging and a great listen. Enjoyed more than I thought I would.
A good album. Not my fav of this genre or even of theirs but a good listen
Doesn’t age. Fierce, angry, amazing
Not really my genre. Was ok to listen to but wouldn’t listen again.
An album that I should love. Have listened so many times over the years and still only really think it’s average. Don’t know why but I just don’t get it for some reason.
Incredible album. A double album that is virtually a no skip album is pretty rare. But this is so close.
Not really my fav genre but enjoyed bits of it.
Another album I should love but don’t. Some lovely songs they just don’t make me feel anything.
Never liked Morrissey back in the day, this didn’t do anything to change my mind. Just find his songs really boring.
Can’t believe I’ve not really listened to The Cars until now. Great album full of catchy interesting songs.
Love Isaac Hayes but he gets a little over indulgent on some of these songs. Way too long but still enjoyable listen.
One of my all time favourite artists. Great live album with a mix of stories and great songs. Brilliant.
Dusty at her best. Great songs, great voice, great strings. Just a lovely easy listen.
Still one of my all time favourite albums. Every song incredible.
A classic. Some excellent songs, although gets a bit samey after a while.
An enjoyable listen although not blown away by it.
Jam packed with pop classics. Very easy listen.
Not really for me. Zoned out for most of it.
Some of my favourite Jimi songs on this one. Some filler tracks but overall a great album.
Brilliant album. Better than Pet Sounds in my opinion.
Enjoyed this more thab I thought I was going to. Short snappy fun songs. Pretty enjoyable overall
Criminally underrated songwriter. Brilliant album
Like all Sigur Ros this was beautiful and a great listen with one or two stand out tracks.
What can you say about this album other than it’s a classic.
Not really my think. Some ok bits but overall didn’t do it for me.
Nowhere near my fav pink Floyd. Ok but so many better albums by them.
A fun listen but not my favourite genre.
I love EVH as a guitarist but somehow don’t really love Van Halen as a band. Still a good listen though.
A nice folky album but didn’t blow me away.
Good album full of Irish classics. Wouldn’t necessarily listen again but a fun listen.
Not his best album but still has some bangers on and the string arrangements are an absolute masterclass.
One of my fav albums of all time
Full of pop brilliance. Plus Adele’s voice. Great stuff.
Really really not my cup of tea.
In my opinion one of the most underrated bands ever. Top quality. No skips
A decent enough 80s album. Not my fav genre but pleasant enough listen
Superb album - full of funky delights
Not my fav era/ album of his but a pretty good listen overall
I like it but another listen gasnt convinced me that I LOVE it. Some great songs never the less
Enjoyable with one or two top songs. Still can’t get Over the fact his voice just bugs me.
Love Neil Young although this album is a mixed bag with some great songs and a few average ones. Still a great listen overall.
Every song is an absolute dream. Probably his best album - not that there’s any bad ones.
It was ok. That’s the best I can say about it. Had to listen in a couple of chunks as it all just was a bit samey after a bit.
Not a bad listen. Just not particularly engaging after the first track. Pleasant enough.
This should be for me. But somehow I just didn’t engage with it at all. Got really bored very quickly.
An absolute classic. Great listen.
Not their best album. Some belters on there but interspersed with quite a bit of filler.
Incredible album. Nothing more to say
An all time classic. Not just for the title track. Full of absolute gems
A bit of a hidden gem. As good now as it was when it came out.
Actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Still not my fav rock band but some excellent songs I did not know.
A great album. Stripped back versions of great songs in Cash’s very obviously unique style. I enjoyed it a lot
A bit insipid and uninspiring. Nice enough for background but never grabbed my attention really.
Not for me. Some great riffs and music spoilt by vocals that just seemed unnecessarily aggressive in an unpleasant way.
How have I not listened to more Yes at this stage of my life? Incredible. Engaging from first song to last. Not too prog but great musicianship and banger tunes.
Not his best but still pretty damn good.
Brilliant album. Some of my fav Chili tracks on it.
Nice enough soundscapes and would probably be great for working to as background but over all didn’t really engage me.
Love early MJ. A great album with one or two hidden gems along with the well known bangers.
A strange album for me. Some well known great songs, some lesser known bangers too. But then some duds in there. It’s still Prince though…..
Cracking American rock album with some all time classics on.
Still not my favourite Radiohead album but it’s got hot competition! Brilliant none the less.
One of the greatest albums of all time.
What’s not to like. Great voice, great trumpeter and brilliant band/ arrangements. Lots of fun.
A classic album full of top quality songs.
A classic of the genre, which was never my fav genre but there is no doubt this is a great album.
Full of their hits and I remember loving it at the time. Doesn’t quite hit the same heights listening back today but still an enjoyable album.
Another one of those beloved albums/ artists that I just don’t quite get on with. Not that it’s a bad album - I still really enjoyed it, with the famous songs being the highlights. Just not quite for me.
One of my fav Dylan albums. Hits the right spot between his folky era and starting to get a little more rock. Some of my favourite tracks of his.
I’d have probably loved this if I’d heard it back when it was released. Now, it was an ok listen. Nothing about it particularly blew me away. And 22 songs is a LOT.
Like Bueno Vista SC goes lo-fi. Very enjoyable but felt a bit like background music - never quite fully engaged me.
Fab album by a fab singer. Maybe a touch too “country” for my taste but some absolutely brill songs and I would 100% listen again.
Not my favourite Stevie album. But that’s like saying which one of your children you prefer. Unbelievably good.
Classic Zappa. Zany, meandering, jazzy awesomeness.
80s is probably my least favourite decade. And although this has some great tunes it does nothing to dissuade me of that notion. An ok listen.
I boomerang with this album between it being one of my fav and underrated Bowie albums, to thinking it’s one of his weaker ones. Drive-In Saturday & Time are two of my fav Bowie songs ever. But there’s one or two filler songs in there. Still brilliant though.
A period of blue that is not my favourite but still a good listen with a couple of standout tracks.
Not really my thing but I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it at all and actually there are a few songs I didn’t know on there that I did enjoy. Not dreadful.
Everyone knows the title track but actually this is a terrific album full of great rock songs. Stands the test of time pretty well and definitely influenced many artists that came after.
Lo-fi delights all the way. Such a brilliant chilled album.
Enjoyable but didn’t quite hit the heights I had expected.
