I would rate it with a five. I liked the harmonica parts and it's clear it was written with soul and lots of feeling, but the sound is not great and I was expecting more rock. Not a waste of time bad I would not listen to it again.

Positively surprised, the album sounds very nice, touches of blues, wind music, it sounds so 70s. It deserves another listen.

I liked some songs. All songs have the same chill out atmosphere, some are more interesting while others just fall under the same repetitive style. I would probably listen to two or three songs again but the rest is just music to have on the background. Nice to hear but a bit boring.

Hit after hit. Rock and blues in synchrony, the album reminded of Led Zeppelin, guitar and voice both working towards a sweet and groovy sound.

Great album it starts and ends with a perfect song, highway star intense and frantic, WABMC slow and deep. Awesome guitar all the way, classic SOTW in the middle. At least a 4,5/5.

The album combines some 60s-70s sound with punk / alternative rock. It's an interesting mix, easy to listen to, makes me want to discover more of the band. It reminded me of Pixies, Beach Boys or Simon and Garfunkel. Would listen to it again.

In my book, if an album has songs the quality of Voodoo Chile, All along the watchtower, and Voodoo Child, I don't care about the rest of the songs. Those songs are so phenomenal, they make the album a great album. About the rest, there were some nice songs, and some ok ones. So, a 4,5/5.

I remember when I listened to this album when it came out, I hated it. Now I don't, listening to it several years later, you see the guy was a visionary, but still, I prefer his previous style. I prefer The College Dropout anyday. But respect for being innovative, although his disgusting, and pathetic for being so obsessed with himself.

I loved his guitar. Of course. And there were a couple of songs that surprised me. But knowing he is such a talent, listening to songs I don't completely appreciate, makes me wish he had created different music, more similar to blues, rock,... But to each, his own. 3,5/5.

I have to say I preferred other Bowie's albums. This one is nice to listen to, but nothing caught my attention particularly.

Old-school, raw beats, hard bass, many songs are great, others have aged worse. Overall, very nice album. Several songs are pure anthems.
