Just makes me want to watch freaks and geeks again. Losing a full star for this deranged blues song! Another star gone for Mother's Lament. Are we ok? WTF?

Perfect no notes

There is a smugness to Sinatra that I can't get over. It's incredibly easy listening but it's also cheesy and slimy in a way that I don't like at all.

Oh no The tunes are great and then Morrissey's voice is the worst thing I've ever heard

Gosh this takes me back to my 20s. Generally very bland apart from infinity which I still like.

My problem with Bob Dylan songs (other than his voice) is they just go on and on and on and on without changing. If they were 3 mins long I'd not have time to get bored.

I feel like Sonic Youth should be right up my alley but something about them is very unpleasant to listen to

What an odd album

This project is making me appreciate that this era of British working class eccentrics being allowed to make pop music existed. Half these songs are straight music hall ditties and most of them sound exactly the same. I don't like them very much but I do appreciate their existence.

In 2000, the first boy I ever loved made me a mix cd with 2.45am was the first track. I cannot be even slightly impartial about this album or about Elliot Smith. I love it and I miss him.

I liked their songs very much but why did 60s producers insist that bands fill their albums with mediocre covers

That this was inspired by Dylan made me suddenly appreciate Dylan way more than I ever have

A lot of songs on this album I'm very fond of (scar tissue, other side, californication), and a lot that I violently hate (around the world, I like dirt). Weird listening experience.
