Outside of Pinball Wizard, this album is just not for me. Maybe meant for a different time but this does not endure to the 20th century.

This album surprised me how much it lives up to the mythos as one of the standards of hip hop history. Full of bangers and source material for rhymes through the decades.

A little too raw for me, I like the layer Black Sabbath stuff more, but the riffs are very sick.

It might be the nostalgia talking, but this album rips, especially the instrumentals. Falls short of perfection because of the vocals and some skippable tracks.

The jobsite hated when I got stuck in an hours-long dance trace listening to this.

I can see how groundbreaking this might’ve been at the time, but I am unfortunately not unc enough to understand or appreciate that. The singing on some of the tracks is great and I enjoyed the more substantive messages on some of the songs. Good stuff.

This album quest is like golf—hours upon hours of misery and anguish, but one good shot will make you say, “ah, that’s why they call it the greatest game.” This is one of those good golf shots.

I had a steady groove going with this one.

Great tracks from the legend

One of the most surprising new finds of the journey so far.

This was one of the albums that surprised me in terms of how much I thought that I would like it.

One of the last British empire conquests was these guys stealing that Mississippi Delta flow. 4.5/5 a good start but not one of the best Led Zeppelin albums.

It’s fine, nothing crazy, but I lack the perspective of how groundbreaking this would’ve been since rap has improved greatly in the decades since this dude held a mic.

4.5 this grooves hard, I’m a big LCD Soundsystem fan

Not as good as other country from that era but still fun to listen to.

My sommelier recommended the wrong Monster pairing for this album and it threw off the whole vibe :( +1 for the single track

Voodoo Child is such a dope song that it carries this album to a 4. The rest is pretty decent.
