Their best!

I wasn't expecting to like this, but I did, it was super relaxing and I quite liked the talking clips too.

Pretty good, I'd only ever heard or recognised the popular ones, but it was a solid album start to end.

A talented singer, great voice. I wished the musical arrangements were louder in the mix, and the singing let off now and again. This wasn't exciting, it was predictable, it was hard to get through but glad I did because Someone like you has some fantastic moments.

Fun, energetic. This would be great to queue up with guests over, as background music or blasted all over the neighbourhood.

This guy was a master of the 80s sound, which is good if you like that but I don't.

Feels like a concept album, OK for background music.

The production is excellent, most of the song writing is simple, but it was an easy listen.

This was great, I loved his singing and his message. Will definitely spin this up again.

Fantastic album. Beautiful music, interesting, the vocals were delicate with real substance. Some lovely lyrics, with lines like "We kissed like we invented it" and "So yes I guess I'm asking you, to back a horse that's good for glue". My first 5 in this musical journey.

Not my king of thing, but it's abba, no complaints here.

Not good. At times it sounds like the guitar is playing along to a drum and bass click track, then the singing (if you can call it that) makes it really hard to complete the album. Camparing this to Captain Beefheart is absurd.

Pretty good, no complaints, but nothing really stood out as interesting either.

Unexpectedly good. 15 seconds into the first song I was hoping it wouldn't be painful. My opinion changed, I'd listen to this again, probably the French half only.

Was okay, a few hits, everything else was unmemorable on one listen, but understand how someone could really get 8nto this album. But, for me, a 3.

This was awesome. So now I got to listen to more of this guy, and also revisit some John Coltrane now that I know I may just like Avant-garde jazz. This just escaped in as a 4,but would have been an easy 4 if there was less piano and guitar.

This was okay, at times relaxing. I may not listen to it again, scoring is hard sometimes, I'd like to give this a 2.5,2 is too low, so 3 it is.

This was okay, was expecting better, all the songs have a somewhat similar sound/feel.

Oh no, this it shit. Track 1, yeah nah, 1 hour and 7 minutes of this is gonna be tough. Track 2 amplified this feeling, shitty 80s/90's dance music with shitty beats and shitty synths.

Rather enjoyable. The child crying on Runaway Child was a bit uncomfortable to hear.

Id never heard of this guy, had no idea what to expect. It was fantastic, I was very surprised to see it was a 70's album, expected much later.

I liked this more than I expected, I guess the lack of horrible 80's synths and beats, but not quite into the 2000s edgy Electronica made the music tolerable, and her voice is definitely nice. 3/5

I've never been an Aerosmith fan, they have a few ok songs, but I just am not keen on their sound.

This got better as it progressed, the last few songs were great.

How coincidental that I partially listened to this album only 3 weeks ago. I can't remember why I didn't complete it, but I did add the album and artist to my library. I liked this, however the drums and bass are not interesting, so I'll give this a 3.

Fantastic, I felt the 1st half was stronger, but overall very enjoyable.

This was not interesting. The singing was not good.

Cars was the only one I knew, funny that most of the songs kind of sounded like cars outtakes. Extra point for such a crunchy synth sound so early in the 80s.

What a boatload of fun, I do wish the music was louder in the mix though.

Track #1 "Djed" felt like several ideas bolted together, it didn't need to be 20 minutes. The remainder if the album see-sawed between music and wankery. I did not need to hear this. For 1996 it is not impressive or evolutionary.

What great music, soothing, good walking music, makes the weather better.

This was okay. I can only recall 'sexy boy' as another Air song prior to this, so I was expecting more, less ambient, this was like a movie soundtrack. Jokes aside, it was absolutely fine for some background music.

Nice voice, nice melodies, enjoyable and catchy hooks, a very nice package. I especially like how Chrissie gives the rest of the instruments plenty of space. Easy 4.

I was considering a 2 for this, until Blockheads came around. Before then it just felt a bit to much of a parody, but some grit came through to pushit to a 3.

Worth a listen, had some interesting bits. Yeah.

Enjoyable, peaceful, no song in particular stood out, but Devendra has been added as a favourite artist, I wanna hear more.

I've listened to this one many times, many years ago, but still know all the lyrics. This time around a little more analytical, I loved it. The first track "Drive" a fantastic start, easing into it, and then just 3 tracks in, the energetic "The sidewinder sleeps tonights" really shifts the mood and lets the listner know what we're in for early on. I was almost cringing when "Everybody Hurts" started, given the monstrous airplay it received in the day, but the cringe quickly subdued. The rest of the album kept the strength of the first half, with such a spot on ending.

This pretty much defines what I dislike about modern hip hop.

Fantastic! I really like back to black, but had never listened to this one. It wasn't as interesting I guess, but really enjoyable.

Music was enjoyable, didn't really like the vocals though, they were a bit annoying, both in style and tone/accent.

I want to give this two scores, one foe how interesting some of the songs were and how beautiful the woman's voice was, the other score for how grating some of the music was, which seemed to soften by the end.

I'm not a fan of Willie. He's not a bad singer by any means, just nothing I find interesting about it, pretty boring.

Classic. It was amazing hearing it for the first time in 1993, and still amazing.

I've listened to Hendrix a number of times, and yeah, I understand the hype, but always found it too bluesy for my tastes. This time, I really listened, the drums were amazing at times, and put this a I've mid for me.
