1001 Albums Summary

Like The Who but did not know this album. The concept based around pop art and fake commercials was probably very good when it came out but nowadays I think it lost its appeal.

Not into country music. Love Cash's voice but that was about it.

Début album from Garbage. A good start but the following one was much better. Well at least it got me listening to their discography all day long so good recommandation.

It was nice though a bit too improvised for me. More of a jam between friends than something that was thought out. Recommended nonetheless.

Listened to it twice in a row but I ain't gonna lie..I was bored after three songs. Not for me.

Love the earlier albums but this one is where I draw the line. Too much experimentation too much weird noises.

Good band but not my cup of tea. I got pretty bored listening to it.

Sorry Steve you seem like a nice guy but country music ain't really my thing.

Psychedelic music not my thing. Most of it bored me to death. I can hear the influence it had on bands I like though.

No idea what the heck it was except that it was noisy and bad..

I like the band but boy that album was boring. Most songs were dull.

Nope.

Pretty good..Knew the first song, not the other ones. No idea what genre it could be called but I liked it.

Hip hop is not my thing but it was pleasant enough.

Meh.

Nope.

Liked it.

Like the band but the album not so much.

I can see the influence it had but I really found it hard to listen to.

Liked two songs. Could not stand the others. Sounds like she was having fun though. You go girl!

Funky

Cute but not my thing

Not much into early Iggy.

The Pogues. What else.

Like the guy but not that album.

Album with cover songs. It had Hurt so automatic 5 but I was pretty indifferent about most of the others. So minus 1

Better than the one I got before by the same artist but still not my cup of tea

Another album that fails at making me like country music. Like their name though.

I can see its influence but I really didn't like it.

A few songs that I liked but not the whole album.

Reminded me of those indie songs that get played during sad sitcom scenes. Bored to death.

So cringe. I'll leave it at that not to be too impolite.

Hmm some catchy songs but otherwise easily forgotten

Awful.

Pretty good.

Two classics in it. But the rest was just painful noises.

Like the guy but this was a completely useless album.

Second album I got from Prince. Didn't like this one.

Not my favourite.

Funny 'Whatever' is what I said after listening to this album. Not the artist that is going to make me like rock folk.

Cute.

Please no more cringe punk. I'll be a good boy I swear!

Pretty good.

Can't stand that voice. It was awful.

Boring (except for Hallelujah)

It was OK.

Yeah my first 5 star! Too bad it was not a discovery. An album that I've been listening to since I discovered it decades ago. Still loving it

Not bad.

I enjoyed some moments but on the whole I found it incredibly boring.

Uninteresting

Sounds like other bands from that era but less good.

Some classics but the rest were 80s sound, cringey rock songs.. Used to love it but didn't age well (me or this album I'm not sure yet)

As usual for those old albums that I didn't know about, it was nice but I felt I had already heard them. Probably influenced bands I know. Nonetheless I was not impressed.

Didn't notice anything noteworthy compared to other bands from the 80s with the same sound.

It's sounds exactly like the girl rock band from the 80's but at least 10 years too late.

Not bad

Meh. A few OK songs and the rest was boring

Sexy

Pop Electro. Not bad. 2.5 album rounded to 3.

Took me back to the time I bought that album.on tape. I'm glad to say I aged way better.

Pretty good

I don't like Jack White. Sue me.

Definitely prefer earlier Radiohead. That was pretty boring.

Love the band but not that live. It sounded like they were in a rush. I do not think that playing child in time or highway star that fast makes those songs better. Quite the contrary.

Fell asleep during 'Madame George '

Not my favourite Bowie

Oh yeah baby.

Man is a genius. He can play folk rock, country, classic rock ballads, blues. All equally bad.

Ok

That was pretty bad.

Not my favourite Queen album but nice anyway

Ok

Not that great.

Not my favourite Rush Album.

Pretty good

Not my favourite Led Zeppelin album but pretty good anyway

Bored me to death

Meh

Bee Gees Jr. Not sure about it yet.

Bored me.

Ok but I've never been a big Guns fan.

Pretty good.

First song sounded like people with Tourette experimenting with drugs and alcohol. The rest was barely better.

Meh

Pretty good

A classic

Ok

Pretty good

Not bad at all

Surprisingly decent.

Couldn't stand it.

Oh yeah!

I'm only 100 albums in on this journey and I'm already feeling folk rock fatigue.

Got annoyed by having a 3rd Neil Young album as I can't say that I enjoyed the first two. But to my.surprise I liked it quite a lot. I blame Stockholm syndrome

Go away, hippies

Awful. It started as the pop rock band of the 80s and turned into the cheesiest cringiest dullest band ever. That album is incredibly bad.
