Don’t like Rage in a personal level. What he stands for and how they failed their listeners. Charges $6000 for tickets but screams out against capitalism and taxes.

Too erratic. Not a lot of flow with the beats and delivery. It’s jangled and tough to follow

Always a fan of a solid jazz record.

Sounds really raw and real but not in a good way. It’s like the production was done in a garage with a.m single mic. The sound of the record is horrible. Every single song sounds similar. The drums are flat and are just a bouncing rhythm section. His voice is overwhelming.

Not my style of music at all. Was never a fan of the 1980s era British punk sound or scene.

One of the best blues album of all time. Duane Allmans slide guitar work is on full display. The juxtaposition between the British Invasion sound and southern blues is great. The overall sound and feel of the record is incredible. One of the best albums of all time.

I really don’t like this 80s synthpop stuff. It’s never been my favorite.

The music part of the album is fantastic. The flow, the beats, the vibe is awesome. I cannot stand the skits. I want to hear music, and I don’t care for the dramatic crap.

Solid addition to the annals of boogie rock and aerosmiths catalog. I think there are better Aerosmith albums, but this is a definite rocker.

Never really liked punk music and this one is no different. It’s a lot groovier than most punk music however and has an undeniable hook in it. It’s pretty impressive that a group of black musicians from DC in the 80s transcended racial boundaries and created a sound like this.

I do not like Queen at all and this album helped confirm that.

In a world awash in grunge, The Prodigy were doing something brand new. Aggressive. Industrial. Fast. NuMetal and Electronic. Nine inch nails meets aphex twins. Solid.

Was introduced to the Eels in high school by a friend from church and became an instant fan. I would listen to him almost religiously for years. Solid musician. Solid album. It was such a dramatic change from the grunge and nü metal sounds of the time that it was refreshing. Absolutely love this album, and listening to it for the first time in years turned that nostalgia meter to 100.

There were a few songs that I liked, but overall, the music really washed out his voice. I could barely hear him or the lyrics and it made for kind of an exhaustive listening experience. The music itself was very good, however.

Ho Hum psychedelic rock album from the 70s

Do not enjoy this style of music at all.

Eh. A little underwhelming especially with all the hype around it.

The weatherman is a great tune, other than that, this is pure cliche honky tonk. No bite. No nothing.

Liked this more than I was expecting to. Had some solid tunes. Don’t know if I would give this a repeat listen, but for a genre I don’t really care for, it had some enjoyable moments.

Lyrically it’s a solid showing. However, the early 90s hip hop just isn’t my style. It’s got to much of that uplifting, kinda heavy snare style I dont dig. I’m a fan of the dirtier, heavier bass driven southern hip hop.

Not a fan of this at all. I do like some industrial, but this just doesn’t do it for me.

The voice, the voice is just too much. “I believe in a thing called Love” has about the only depth I can handle. There’s merit to the music, but the singing is just singularly awful.

There’s some decent tunes. Overall, this isn’t quite my vibe but I can understand the loveFor this album.

The groove in Brain Drain is enough to save this album.

One of the best albums of the 90s.

Absolutely love Bob Dylan and love his full band stuff. When he gets bluesy, it’s some solid stuff.

Not his best album in his discography, but is an absolute masterpiece of 2000s era shock rap. No one can do it like Eminem, period. The dude stood on the shoulders of giants and became bigger, but never shunned his roots or those who came before him. How wordplay, his dizzying deliveries, his ability to leave you speechless or in stitches is fully on display with this album. This album started his turn from being lauded for his humorous rap songs to developing that razor edge tongue that lends credence to his mature songs.

Solid boogie woogie blues album.

I love Gillian Welch. This isn’t my favorite album of hers, and don’t think it showcases her raw emotional vulnerability in her songwriting like later albums do, but this is still a beautiful addition to her discography.

Growing up, I was a huge fan of Metallica and would listen to them almost religiously. However, now that I’m in my 40s and going back and listening to this album, I realized that it’s just not good. Lars drumming is abysmal, the songs are 5 minutes too long, the overall feel of the album is just bleh. They’re absolutely one of the fathers of modern American metal, but this album, just doesn’t do it for me anymore.

The only thing good about this album; Is how brief it is. Jangled, ratchety noise. No coherence or structure. Just a rambling mess of instrument noise over the audible manufactured hiss of vintage sound.

Absolutely a record that defined a new generation of music. However, I wasn’t a fan of this record.

The juxtaposition between funk/punk and straight alternative bangers can be jarring at times. The instrumentation is amazing, but dear god Anthony is about as tone deaf as a vacuum cleaner. There were some songs I never heard before that I really liked and overall this album was a definite genre defying outbreak.

You can definitely hear the influence of this album in bands like the Hives, the Vines, Blur and a lot of the other British garage punk bands who came out in the late 90s, early 2000s. While i can’t deny this albums influence, I will say, this isn’t my sound.

One of the first Indie albums I ever listened to. Really made me a PJ Harvey fan. The song she does with Thom Yorke is awesome.

You can hear Dan the Automator loud and clear. It’s honestly got a sound that was way ahead of its time for hip hop. It was vintage but new. The delivery was off kilter and stilted and that added to its charm and inability to be labeled as a singular sound. Kool Keith really hit it out of the park with this album.

It’s Aretha Franklin. She’s incredible.

I’m pretty sure that the 80s was just a time of people pretending music was good and just making albums that were god awful. I have no idea what this putrid excuse for music is, but my god. It needs to abolished.

They changed hip hop for sure. Lofi jazz beats. Intelligent lyrics. The only thing is the very repetitive delivery on this album. Every song has the same cadence and Delicery style. It gets tiresome very quickly.

Not every song on the album is amazing. However the entirety of this album was just mesmerizing to listen to when it came out. The depth of emotion in Laynes voice. The fuzzy riffs that transitioned between story telling, weeping and outright lunacy. The drums banging out a rhythm we had no right to hear. This album changed my life.

One of my favorite hip hop albums of all time. It’s an absolute stunner.

This album and this band are everything the Velvet Underground wished it was and could be. I was never a big fan of TJAMC because of that god awful first album, but this one, was flat out incredible. It was beautiful, lush, sparse, compelling and mature.

I mean, come on, it’s the Eagles. Easy 5+ stars.

Typical 60s psych rock that wishes it was the Beatles or Pink Floyd. Nothing ground breaking but not a bad album.

Top 100 favorite album of all time. The juxtaposition between their sludgy ambient electronica and the manic alt rock of their early years, makes this a wonderful addition to their catalog. A near flawless record.

The opening song had given me high hopes, however, the next slew of songs were some of the worst music I’ve ever heard.

Wishlist version of Nine Inch Nails with less creativity and bite.

This is one of the best albums ever made. It’s a quintessential industrial metal album, one that cannot be surpassed. I love every single song on the album, but the standout to me is “Reptile.” It’s beautiful in its aggression and simplicity, while being layered, technical and complete. I cannot say anything bad about this album at all.
