I really like Tim Buckley's Starsailor album. This one is just kind of meh. Dream Lover was kind of cool, but other than that, I don't see why we care about this guy. And how did he get away with not crediting Miles Davis on that opening track, which is blatantly ripping off "All Blues?"

I could not make it through this album. I made it halfway and had to move on. I would think if you are a fan of ASMR you would love this album. I find ASMR rage inducing. I found this album rage inducing. It’s artistic, just not for me.

Couldn’t even get through it.

Didn't know Tim Buckley could be this boring. 1 I love "Sing a Song for You" But I'm gonna give this album a 1 because it's the only 3 minutes I actually want to listen to. And then I have Tim Buckley smiling on my 5's and sad Tim Buckley on my lowest rated.

Dull and dreary.

I'm almost entirely certain that I'm going to hate this. Before I even put it on. However. The first track has started nicely. His voice is lovely. Please don't fuck this up, Tim. Tim. You've fucked this up. You're closing your eyes when you sing this, aren't you? Oh noes! My emotions! On the plus side. This album is only 6 tracks. Unfortunately they're all 6+ minutes long.

Just awful.....unlistenable.....

This is the first time I was completely bored from beginning to end. Dreadful

love a 12 minute song

I struggled with the album. I was bored and I was not entertained. The music was all over the place. Some of it was folksy. Some of it is was rock or rock that was common for the time period. Lyrically nothing of note. It was only 45 minutes, but I wanted it to be over a lot sooner. All of the songs are too long. It is unnecessary to have a 10 minute plus song, let alone two. The album is probably better than a one, but not really a two. I am rounding down. If the style had been consistent and the songs not so long, then it would have been a two, but I had to listen to some crap songs.

Funny, I saw his name and thought \"I know him\" only to realize I don't think I've ever listened to Tim Buckley. Pretty sure I was confusing him with Jeff. Anyway, I have no idea why this guy has a cult following. WTF is this?

Meh. Played this and didn’t get it. Played it again to check, and still didn’t. Feels very of it’s time and doesn’t speak to me at all.

I liked the gentle breezy Miles Davis influenced early track, but the rest is boring. My first listen to any Tim Buckley and I’m very disappointed.

Snoozer

Anything that is labeled as psychedelic folk makes no sense. Which is exactly how I felt about this album, just simply didn’t like it and could have gone through life without knowing this existed.

I am very sorry. But this was an album I simply could not listen to. I am not sure if you all know the Jimmy Fallon Tonight show "Do not play list". That would be in the top 10 of that list. What is that? And who the heck is Tim Buckley? And who put that on the 1001 albums list? So many questions.

Very interesting album… I found some of the songs really long… I could listen to them while I was working but when the phone would ring I wouldn’t really pay attention and some made me feel really sad so not an album I would’ve gone out and bought

Not a good first impression. I don't like his voice and the style is all over the place (and not in a good way). Production is very low key and watered down.

Well-made but I don't enjoy this particular style of music very much, so it didn't leave any significant impact on me.
