Listened to random Cure songs but never heard this album before. Atmospheric and hits the right mood but kind of similar between songs. Would listen to it again from time to time. 3.5

Not overly familiar of REM outside of a few songs. Never listened to this album. Decent.

More familiar with Songs of Love and HAte and the first album. This was decent but prefer those two albums. Need to explore Cohen a bit more.

I've never heard of this album nor Elis Regina before. I enjoyed it as background music but can't really see myself revisiting it though. Nice to get an artist and album I have never heard of.

Not a big fan of Rod Stewart but it's a decent enough listen.

I could name several U2 albums that are well known off the top of my head. This is not one of them. It makes me think how many are going to be on this list of 1001....

Hendrix might be the best guitarist. I don't listen to this album nearly as much as I should.

If this wasn't the 'death album' it likely wouldn't have received the reception it did and probably wouldn't have made this list. It's still a solid Bowie album.

I've heard of both him and this album before but I never listened to either. Not for me.

The name is familiar but somehow this band has completely escaped my knowledge despite being up my alley. Giving it a 3 but could move up to 4 with some more listens.

I know of Le Tigre through Kathleen Hanna/Bikini Kill as well as the Nofx connection in Deceptacon. I've never really listened though. Not too bad.

Was tossing up between 4 or 5 stars but this really is a solid album start to finish. Easy to see why it is so important and influential.

Literally never heard of Arrested Development at all. Kind of cool mix of hip hop genres and makes for ok background listening but I can't see myself ever revisiting it.

Second Leonard Cohen album to show up. His older gravelly voice gets a bit much for this long but I enjoyed it still.

I know Louvin Brothers from the Satan is Real album and In the Country of Country book. This kind of 50s country is a bit of a guilty pleasure.
