KraftwerkAs an insufferably pretentious nerd I obviously think this is great
As an insufferably pretentious nerd I obviously think this is great
I listened to (a bit of) this on YouTube on an incognito tab because the thought of someone seeing it in my Spotify or internet history was too embarrassing
Rubbish, but short
Thank you to James for only making this half an hour long
Very good, if not really my style
Oh this is some album, if it gets any livelier a funeral's going to break out
piss
A lot of this album is trudging through basically the same track going on for at least a minute too long. But the highs are very high
I listened to (a bit of) this on YouTube on an incognito tab because the thought of someone seeing it in my Spotify or internet history was too embarrassing
Don't know what I think about this, in either a good or bad way
Really good from start to finish
stop pratting about and play some tunes
Box office album from a box office man
if I had an ounce of this man's charisma I'd lead a much better life
Rock & Roll is one of the greatest tracks of all time but none of this gets near to that level. Alternates between quite good, unlistenably crap and just a bit dull. Not bad but not exactly good either
someone tell kiedis to shut up so we can listen to the ones with talent
this is actually less shockingly crap than "finnish glam rock" would suggest, but nowhere near non-crap enough to make me want to try and find the half of the album that isn't on spotify
with apologies to drunk i just couldn't get into this at all
i never realised how much all of those yank parodies of the 1950s weren't joking
something actually (quite) good for once
stop doing standup and sing us a song
At first I thought this was going to be quite good, then it wasn't
Please stop this
Nice but also quite dull
Glorious
Quite good in some places, quite dull in others
Weird but not awful
Fine
Ruuuuuuuubish
Suedehead is great, the rest of it isn't
Still fine, not as good as the other one
Not much of a Beatles head but this was pretty good. I'm sure they'd be thrilled with the endorsement
Enjoy the silence is an all time great, most of the rest of this not so much
Good, but also long
No
That orgy track was weird wasn't it
Great work from the big man
At times I thought this would end up being better than it actually was, but it was still fine
Sounds like an obscure GTA radio station I would enjoy but not seek out
Banger after banger
If this is considered their best album I'd hate to hear their worst
a load of weird crap, then two absolute bangers, then a load more weird crap
Pretty good, but also very repetitive and too long
Fine enough but didn't do much for me
In the morning: great. Everything else: not great
Pretty good!
Good stuff
Belting
Not for me I'm afraid
Decent
The band the Beatles could have been
Fine
They called them 'the only band that matters' for a reason
Lovely stuff
Music is decent but it's far too long and samey
It's fine but it's no am
The best to ever do it
Lovely stuff
Mostly pretty good, occasionally very crap. Thumbs up
Great voice, sad story
meh
It can't keep up the level of the first few tracks, but then what could
Dull
Rubbish, but short
Scrubs air band dot gif
45 minutes of "oh, I recognise this". Lovely stuff
I'd probably like this more after repeat listenings, but I don't like it anywhere near enough to want to listen to it again
Will someone please remember Marcus Garvey for this man
When it's good it's very good, but the highs are relatively few and far between
Good, and as importantly, short
Nooooooo thanks
Objectively good but does absolutely nothing for me.
Irritatingly good, albeit you could take the middle third out and nobody would miss it
Fine. Nothing more, nothing less
It's a classic for a reason
Don't you think your guitars are a bit much?
Some of this is really good, a lot of it is absolute guff
Good weird? Bad weird? No idea, but certainly very weird
This is terrific
There are great bands who never made anything as good as Try Not To Breathe and it just about makes it into the top 5 of this album. Absurd.
Tremendous
Pretty good
Good, if a bit meandering at times
Enjoyed it more than I expected
As an insufferably pretentious nerd I obviously think this is great
Dunno why the wheatus fella thought going to see these would impress that girl
A lot of fun
Here are several fine young men who I'm sure are gonna go far
Faultless
Go back to singing about the tube network
I think I liked some of this? But it's hard to say
He's a weird old fella but the album is pretty good
It's annoying how good they are considering how insufferable they are

A load of absolute guff, and one of the greatest tracks of all time
Good stuff mostly
I liked this less the longer it went on, and the satisfaction cover is criminal
Lip service is great, the rest of it is fine
Weird, but good. But weird
Liked this a lot
Meh
Good
Perfection
Didn't love it, didn't hate it
Turboguff
Solid if unspectacular
Some undeniably huge tunes
Fine but forgettable
Eh
Fine, but doesn't really feature any of their best tracks
Some good, lots of meh
Didn't mind it
Liked this a lot
Great start, less fussed by the rest
Good
Really liked this
Masterpiece
Only one great track, but what a fucking great track
"Not as bad as I was expecting" is the closest I'll ever get to endorsing my dad's taste in music
Sounds very of its time. Not sure if that's good or not
THIS IS MY WORLD, AND I AM WORLD LEADER PRETEND
Good stuff, even if I can only think of the januzaj chant when I hear Starman
Unreal
Fine but forgettable
Just does absolutely nothing for me. Sorry everyone
This veers so frequently and violently between atrocious and class that it's given me whiplash
I liked this!
The "bowwww" just before the second half of Free Bird kicks in may be the single greatest note in music history. The rest of the album is also great
A Stones album that is almost entirety devoid of bangers is weird, but it's still fine
Elite
Thought this was fine, at times better than fine. Equally quite forgettable
Elite pop action
Listenable enough in points but pretty dull
Not my thing but decent enough for what it was
Shite. Fuck off Wiggins
V good
Fine but less interesting than I was expecting
I liked most of this one #insight
Nice enough, but didn't feel like I was missing out not having half the album on Spotify
Enjoyed this
Honking
Not bad, but not for me
Some high highs but mostly bland
Perfectly fine
Yes
I liked it, mostly
Given this has 3 of the great tracks of that era on it I was looking forward to listening to the rest of it. I shouldn't have been, but the Electric Feel remains an all time great
Class
Tremendous
Was alone listening to this and now I want to fuck Wiggins's cat
Liked this
The Swedes 🫡
Red Eyes earns a fairly uneventful album and extra star
Takes me back to my brief spell as a teenage rap head. Terrific
Easy listening but a bit in one ear and out the other
He really does have a stupid voice though doesn't he
Made me feel sleepy. In a good way
Enjoyed this far more than I was expecting. More harmonicas please
Always great to get a reminder of why a massive band became massive in the first place
Levels above the guff we've been served up by this lot before
It's good enough but as ever I'm left wondering why they're quite so venerated
Didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would but still decent enough
Any danger of a tune at some point mate
This is a lot of fun and makes me think of Fry from Futurama. Lovely
I'm more of a fan of what comes later but this is as good as more pure punk gets. Simply the best band of all time
Starts quite good, ends with one of the worst four-track runs I've ever heard, features one of the worst songs ever committed to tape half way through. Not for me
Fairly inoffensive but very dull
A toe tapper at times but never much more than that
One of the easiest 5*s we'll ever get. The instrumental at the end of Found A Job is as good as it gets
Separate the art from the artist etc but Morrissey being an absolute weapon makes the decision to give this 4 or 5 stars a lot easier
An album of 43 tracks that average 90 seconds each is always going to be weird, but I thought this was mostly fine
I can imagine that if this is your sort of thing it's absolutely incredible. It's not my sort of thing at all and I thought it was fine
Calling this dirge is generous, as is a 2* rating
Something quite fitting about a crowd chanting "JERRY, JERRY, JERRY" at a fella who married his 13 year old cousin. Anyway, this is crap
So much to like about this, also some quite dull filler in the first half
If this just gave us Fela every day I'd be a very happy man
Took a while to decide what I think about this, I can see the appeal but ultimately not for me
Some of the best basslines I've ever heard. Superb
This might be the worst one we've ever had
Certainly funky, certainly not that interesting
Fine as background noise but nothing to grab you
Couple of great tracks, otherwise not much for me
Live albums seldom do anything for me and this is no exception
I spent the entirety of this album looking for the video of Kelsey Grammer introducing him on SNL, and my failure to find it has cast a huge shadow over the whole enterprise
Girlfriend in a coma is wretched guff but the rest of it is pretty good
Enjoyed this. Bad moon rising so good
Easy enough but didn't enjoy it as much as his others
Seemed to be the only one who didn't like them growing up, and I still don't really. But the good tracks are better than I remember them being
I put this on because there was a loud meeting going on next to me. I think I'd have rather listened to the meeting
Crap
It's a bit all over the place and he has a silly voice but it's pretty good
I think it loses its momentum a bit towards the end but otherwise really good
I liked it for the most part
A handful of tunes, an awful lot of crap
Very good!
Yeah fine
Class
*Chief Wiggum voice* JAMMING
Didn't like this at all. Sorry everyone!
You could chuck heart of glass into the worst album on this list and it would make it a solid 4*. Fortunately the rest of this is full of bangers too.
Was fine 20 years ago, is still fine. A high 3 rather than a low 3 but definitely a 3
The hee-hee is undeniably the greatest gimmick in music history
I'm not keen on the general rap album archetype of the time with loads of interludes and skits, but when this is good it's so good
Nice background music
A good laugh
A very funny first album (along with busted) for a 9 year old who thought every track would be like hey ya to have. But it is very solid, Speakerboxxx is better but TLB has the better tracks.
Not as good as Nevermind but still great
