Obvious guitar talent and passionate singing (screaming) but not a fan of the…anything, really. Lyrics are a downer, no perceptible melody, had trouble telling when one song ended and another started. There is clearly a market for this, but I’m not it.

Like the guitars and drums, the spare arrangements. I also like his voice. Inflections sometimes annoying.
Lyrics are a bit too avant-garde poetry spacy weird for me.
Then came Invocation of Ratiocination, which was both weird and annoying.
My first impression of guys like this is they smarter than me and I just don’t get it. But then I realized he’s just weirder than me, and I still don’t get it.
