Obvious guitar talent and passionate singing (screaming) but not a fan of the…anything, really. Lyrics are a downer, no perceptible melody, had trouble telling when one song ended and another started. There is clearly a market for this, but I’m not it.

Solid. My kind of music. 4 Stars.
Much better than I expected. Some 60’s standards I have heard by other artists, I’ll need to look to see who did them first. Great voice, powerful without the current trend of overdoing it.
Forgot how good this album is, start to finish. They never matched this, but a straight ahead rock album that stands up today.
I’ve definitely not heard this album…or maybe I have heard it a hundred times, in movies, in the spa, in the airport. It’s exactly what the title says. I am more likely to listen to this again than a lot of albums from the 70s.
This album grew on me. Spare and a little slow at first, then the last 3 songs blew me away. Worth a listen.
Listened to this album on a windy day at the beach. My drink went flying off the table. I still don’t know whether it was the wind or the music. Relentless.
Given the time this came out, these are groundbreaking songs. A couple on side B are a bit too church-choir to fit with the rest of the record. Very solid, not dated because so many of these songs have been used in movies and or covered often.
Tough to rate this. I really don’t enjoy any of this genre, so it’s no surprise I don’t like it. Somehow slightly more tolerable in a british accent, + 1 star.
Like the guitars and drums, the spare arrangements. I also like his voice. Inflections sometimes annoying. Lyrics are a bit too avant-garde poetry spacy weird for me. Then came Invocation of Ratiocination, which was both weird and annoying. My first impression of guys like this is they smarter than me and I just don’t get it. But then I realized he’s just weirder than me, and I still don’t get it.
Look, this guy is very very talented. The music behind the raps is exceptional. The vocal phrasing is excellent. The rhymes are clever and complex. But the lyrics are beneath his talent. I am not the audience for this bitch hating gay bashing adolescent.
Ross Geller accompanied by an 8th grade drummer from the local marching band. Dreck.
LaGrange is a great song, plus a couple nice blues numbers, but the rest is forgettable.
Ugh.
It was annoying, but I didn’t hate it like I do Metallica or Eminem. So, I guess it’s 2 stars. I expect I’ll get William Shatner next.
After the first 3 songs I’m thinking “over rated” but I enjoyed the rest. Not the top 5 best all time, like some critics have it, but quite good.
Nice
Blondie was an interesting act but not good enough to sustain an album length of songs. Greatest hits is excellent but even that is not worthy of inclusion on this list.
I once read a review that said Geddy Lee’s voice was a cross between Robert Plant and Donald Duck. I don’t think it was a compliment. The instrumental was, however, equally bad.
Loved it! Best surprise album I’ve gotten by far.
Not to be overly negative but… Actually it’s impossible to be overly negative about this album.
Loud guitars and screaming is overrated.
There are some good songs here but waaaaaay toooooo long
One star is far too generous, but I am unable to give it anything lower.
Zzzzzzzzzzz
Wholly forgettable
Live with Me. Best underrated Stones song.
Longer than necessary
3 for the music, + 1 because it’s Elvis.
Expected to hate this, but loved it.
Zzzzzzzzzz
Can’t believe I liked this. Don’t tell anyone.
Mostly annoying
Fo
I hate David Lee Roth almost as much as I hate Geddy Lee. Otherwise, this was not bad
Her voice sounds like a female Adam Sandler doing a smarmy song.
Surprised. Not a fan of the overly emotive vocals but overall nice music.
No
Just needed a kazoo

It’s damaged, alright. I hated this shit when I was 20 and I hate it more now.
Nope
