Darkness on the Edge of Town
Bruce SpringsteenGood album, very Springsteen all about the working class, lots of sax. Not a personal taste, but he seems to be telling a story that is important.

Good record, really liked the sound. Somewhere between the strokes and daft punk. Energizing, and a total vibe.
Pretty great album. Ironic that he talked so much about being killed throughout the album. Fun listen, dragged a bit toward the end and had some... interesting sound scapes.
The White Album... Ohhh the White Album. How can you rate something you have listened to 1000+ times? This is the first Beatles album that has been served to me, so I should at least try to be objective, right?? Truth is... I can't. I love the White Album, flaws and all. Sure I frequently skip songs like Piggies and Revolution 9. Sure it is criminal that Not Guilty and Sour Milk Sea weren't included on the final track list. But hey, that is what the deluxe remaster is for! All in all this double album highlights all facets of Beatles music, from the grunge Helter Skelter and Happiness is a Warm Gun, the ridiculous Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da, the loving I Will and Julia, and everything in between. The White Album has something for everyone and will continue to be a timeless hit for me. There is more I can write, but nothing else that hasn't already been said by someone else. 4.5/5 stars!!
This was a pretty okay album. I thought a lot of the instrumental was pretty and added to each song. I just cant get behind the vocals... They felt dragging and relatively monotone.
MTV unplugged series is awesome, Nirvana's showcase is no exception. Hard to find a song to dislike on this album. It is darn near perfect!
White boy not invited to the cookout. Didn't like this one... Lot of noise... Lot of yelling about beer and being angry about stuff. From a musicality perspective the 'beats' are a little bit honky tonk, a little bit rap? Maybe a little catchy but it is easy to ignore because of the cringe lyrics. All in all I wanted this one to be over pretty much as soon as the first song started. Would not listen again.
Interesting listen! Much of this album felt like it was straight from Scott Pilgrim (see: Sex Bob-ombs) in that it was a sort of riot-punk vibe. Ultimately I like the 'vibe' of much of this album, with Deceptacon being the obvious standout, but I think the overall setlist leaves a bit to be desired. Things get a little repetitive (I literally thought the album had started over at 'Let's Run)' making this a hard one for me to come back to for a full re-listen.
This album was a bit of a surprise to me. I mean, I didn't like it, but after listening to the first song I thought I reaaally wouldn't like it. I think I am not a fan of rock/rap?
This album has a bit of everything! I appreciate a musician who is willing to flex a bunch of different muscles. Janelle MonΓ‘e takes you from pop/hiphop, to jazz, to sci-fi, to what feels like music from the Wiz? It was a lot to take in, but by the time the last song finished playing, this album exceeded my expectations.
So... Ya like Jazz? Thelonius Monk's Brilliant Corners is the first Jazz album I have been served. I liked it! The whole thing felt like tumbling down a flight of stairs, bumping and running into things along the way. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to listen to this again, but I appreciate it for what it is.
Spanish HAIM?? As others have said, I am not really sure why this was included on the list. Nothing in this album particularly stands out as noteworthy, and for the most part blends in with its genre of modern pop.
I had never really listened to Kendrick Lamar prior to this, but I came away really liking this album. I love good story telling and I love a concept album.
Aside from Psycho Killer there really isnt much in this album that is for me. A lot of the songs sound similar and are sprinkled with weird for the sake of weird. Just not that enjoyable to listen to, at least for me.
This is one of those albums where I recognize why people might like it. Itβs well made, can be catchy, and has a high production quality. Butβ¦ itβs just not for me. Kind of feels too clean? A lot like the rich kid who wants to be indie and gets really into raves? I found myself more interested in the filler tracks and wanting to turn off the singles.
I liked this album and the Brit punk vibes
Lot of noise. Songs were fairly repetitive with only a couple that saved it for me.
I like the vibe of this album. There are some obvious bangers and all-time hits! Aside from that, there are also a lot of repeats that are just different iterations of the same songs, which made listening a bit of a chore at times.
Really creative album! Lot of musical variation which I enjoy. This album does sound a bit dated and stuck in the 80s.
Dearest album generator, please spare me another David Byrne or Brian Eno album. Thanks.
Compositionally fantastic and lyrically haunting. I appreciate getting this the day after Brian Wilson's passing.
To be honest I found this album pretty boring. Aside from the last song, many of the songs sound the same and seem to hit the same note over and over. I get why this is βgoodβ but it is just not for me.
Great listen. Love my some Fleetwood Mac and enjoyed the creativity of this album
This was a fun listen. It felt like the soundtrack to a rock-western at times. At other times the album does date itself as very millennial-core.
I mean come on. Doesnβt get much better than this.
Absolute classic. Every song is a banger!
Classic doors. Spooky vibes
Really enjoyed this one. I like the variety of songs and the harmonies they put together. Subtle but pretty effective
Enjoyed this more than I thought I would based on how I felt listening to other Springsteen music. Good listen!
Handful of absolute bangers mixed in with a bit too much angst.
Great album full of bangers. Lot of creativity in hip hop from this era that makes it fun to listen to
Hard to find any flaws in this album. Melodic with a lot of variation between songs. Easy listen.
I see why some people might like this but it is not for me
Really great classic album
Not really my thing
British rap is low key embarrassing
Really enjoyed this album. Easy listen and quite a vibe aside from some religious stuff
Decent listen, probably wouldnβt come back to it
Mixed feelings about this one. I liked the energy of the music⦠but goddamn Cee-Lo Green has one of the most annoying voices and presence out there. My man sounds like Eric Cartman on the mic
Kinda weird idk
This time I do like jazz!
This time I did not like the jazz so much
Really enjoyed this! Wasnβt sure what to expect but I dig it
Absolutely not
Hell yeah
Kind of repetitive nothing too special for me
Can hear so much influence on early Beatles and other rock bands. Fun listen!
Weird and wacky album that was fun and creative
This is an amazing album. Changes is beautiful song, there wasnt much to dislike here!
Pretty alright
