Good album, very Springsteen all about the working class, lots of sax. Not a personal taste, but he seems to be telling a story that is important.
Good record, really liked the sound. Somewhere between the strokes and daft punk. Energizing, and a total vibe.
Pretty great album. Ironic that he talked so much about being killed throughout the album. Fun listen, dragged a bit toward the end and had some... interesting sound scapes.
The White Album... Ohhh the White Album. How can you rate something you have listened to 1000+ times? This is the first Beatles album that has been served to me, so I should at least try to be objective, right?? Truth is... I can't. I love the White Album, flaws and all. Sure I frequently skip songs like Piggies and Revolution 9. Sure it is criminal that Not Guilty and Sour Milk Sea weren't included on the final track list. But hey, that is what the deluxe remaster is for! All in all this double album highlights all facets of Beatles music, from the grunge Helter Skelter and Happiness is a Warm Gun, the ridiculous Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da, the loving I Will and Julia, and everything in between. The White Album has something for everyone and will continue to be a timeless hit for me. There is more I can write, but nothing else that hasn't already been said by someone else. 4.5/5 stars!!
This was a pretty okay album. I thought a lot of the instrumental was pretty and added to each song. I just cant get behind the vocals... They felt dragging and relatively monotone.
MTV unplugged series is awesome, Nirvana's showcase is no exception. Hard to find a song to dislike on this album. It is darn near perfect!
White boy not invited to the cookout. Didn't like this one... Lot of noise... Lot of yelling about beer and being angry about stuff. From a musicality perspective the 'beats' are a little bit honky tonk, a little bit rap? Maybe a little catchy but it is easy to ignore because of the cringe lyrics. All in all I wanted this one to be over pretty much as soon as the first song started. Would not listen again.
Interesting listen! Much of this album felt like it was straight from Scott Pilgrim (see: Sex Bob-ombs) in that it was a sort of riot-punk vibe. Ultimately I like the 'vibe' of much of this album, with Deceptacon being the obvious standout, but I think the overall setlist leaves a bit to be desired. Things get a little repetitive (I literally thought the album had started over at 'Let's Run)' making this a hard one for me to come back to for a full re-listen.
This album was a bit of a surprise to me. I mean, I didn't like it, but after listening to the first song I thought I reaaally wouldn't like it. I think I am not a fan of rock/rap?
This album has a bit of everything! I appreciate a musician who is willing to flex a bunch of different muscles. Janelle Monáe takes you from pop/hiphop, to jazz, to sci-fi, to what feels like music from the Wiz? It was a lot to take in, but by the time the last song finished playing, this album exceeded my expectations.
So... Ya like Jazz? Thelonius Monk's Brilliant Corners is the first Jazz album I have been served. I liked it! The whole thing felt like tumbling down a flight of stairs, bumping and running into things along the way. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to listen to this again, but I appreciate it for what it is.
Spanish HAIM?? As others have said, I am not really sure why this was included on the list. Nothing in this album particularly stands out as noteworthy, and for the most part blends in with its genre of modern pop.
I had never really listened to Kendrick Lamar prior to this, but I came away really liking this album. I love good story telling and I love a concept album.
Aside from Psycho Killer there really isnt much in this album that is for me. A lot of the songs sound similar and are sprinkled with weird for the sake of weird. Just not that enjoyable to listen to, at least for me.
This is one of those albums where I recognize why people might like it. It’s well made, can be catchy, and has a high production quality. But… it’s just not for me. Kind of feels too clean? A lot like the rich kid who wants to be indie and gets really into raves? I found myself more interested in the filler tracks and wanting to turn off the singles.
I liked this album and the Brit punk vibes
Lot of noise. Songs were fairly repetitive with only a couple that saved it for me.
I like the vibe of this album. There are some obvious bangers and all-time hits! Aside from that, there are also a lot of repeats that are just different iterations of the same songs, which made listening a bit of a chore at times.
Really creative album! Lot of musical variation which I enjoy. This album does sound a bit dated and stuck in the 80s.
Dearest album generator, please spare me another David Byrne or Brian Eno album. Thanks.
Compositionally fantastic and lyrically haunting. I appreciate getting this the day after Brian Wilson's passing.
To be honest I found this album pretty boring. Aside from the last song, many of the songs sound the same and seem to hit the same note over and over. I get why this is ‘good’ but it is just not for me.
Great listen. Love my some Fleetwood Mac and enjoyed the creativity of this album
This was a fun listen. It felt like the soundtrack to a rock-western at times. At other times the album does date itself as very millennial-core.
I mean come on. Doesn’t get much better than this.
Absolute classic. Every song is a banger!
Classic doors. Spooky vibes
Really enjoyed this one. I like the variety of songs and the harmonies they put together. Subtle but pretty effective
Enjoyed this more than I thought I would based on how I felt listening to other Springsteen music. Good listen!
Handful of absolute bangers mixed in with a bit too much angst.
Great album full of bangers. Lot of creativity in hip hop from this era that makes it fun to listen to
Hard to find any flaws in this album. Melodic with a lot of variation between songs. Easy listen.
I see why some people might like this but it is not for me
Really great classic album
Not really my thing
British rap is low key embarrassing
Really enjoyed this album. Easy listen and quite a vibe aside from some religious stuff
Decent listen, probably wouldn’t come back to it
Mixed feelings about this one. I liked the energy of the music… but goddamn Cee-Lo Green has one of the most annoying voices and presence out there. My man sounds like Eric Cartman on the mic
Kinda weird idk
This time I do like jazz!
This time I did not like the jazz so much
Really enjoyed this! Wasn’t sure what to expect but I dig it
Absolutely not
Hell yeah
Kind of repetitive nothing too special for me
Can hear so much influence on early Beatles and other rock bands. Fun listen!
Weird and wacky album that was fun and creative
This is an amazing album. Changes is beautiful song, there wasnt much to dislike here!
Pretty alright
Good album, all covers though which brings it down a bit
Lot of bangers on this one
Idk I think it would’ve been better with more distortion
Couple of great songs, lot of others that were kind of mid
I’m not going to say this was bad, just that I would absolutely never seek any of this out on my ow
yeahhhh boiiiiii! Parts of this I liked, but other noisy, heavily repeated parts drove me a bit nuts
Nice and easy listen
Really easy and fun listen! Wasnt sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised.
Ngl I hated this. It’s super noisy and the lyrics are pure cringe
Noisy and a bit whiney. Not really for me
So great, listened to this while cooking. Would recommend!!
This was a bit too noisy and all over the place for me. The production style was raw and not well polished. At times this comes across as charming, at other times it is just busy
Absolutely loved this. I’ve heard their music before but it was a great experience to listen through the chaos of a whole album
Wow is the mutual influence of the beatles and byrds strongly apparent in this album. For me, the byrds lack some of the soul that I find in beatles music.
Love me some Cure! Lot of hits on this album. I really appreciate a theme and when songs feel like pieces to a larger act, as they do here. This album is unique, weird, and great at what it does.
Great album. Never listened to much Lauryn Hill but this was awesome
Chill, easy listen with great production quality. This is a timeless classic.
Found this to be suuuuper annoying to listen to. Not sure why, but I really disliked this
Great album! Never listened to the Kinks much but I enjoyed the energy and vibe of this one.
Didn’t hate it, but I’m not sure why it’s on this list
Great, energetic listen. Very fun and influential
Idk I either like REM or find them super annoying
Ive heard most of these... Not really a fan but I get it
Liked this more than I thought I would!
So many bangers on this one. Amazing production and sleeper hits
Did not like this!
Hits on here were a bit drowned out by some pretty below average songs or covers
Big dislike here
No ty
Classic!
Pretty alright
A lot of noise, which I dont love, with some redeeming qualities.
Lot of bangers on this one
At the start this jazz needed some boundaries. A bit to chaotic for me. But after a few songs I started to get into it a bit more.
Not really my taste in music but I enjoyed this well enough!
Classic album with a ton of bangers
Absolute classic album. Really enjoyed this one
Great album
This is the best album ever made!
Strooong dislike on this. I find most if not all of these songs annoying and strange,
Easy listen!
Enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would
Aside from one song this is pretty unbearable
Do not vibe with the sad cali girl music
Enjoyed this one! Usually not a huge fan of live albums, but this was great
Amazing
This is such an easy, great listen. Love me some Paul Simon.
Pretty alright. A lot of the songs started to blend together
This album is wayyy to chaotic for what it is. Really hard to get through
Not the worst album from the 80s. Still not my favorite decade
My brother needs to write his own songs
This was fun but also a bit stressful.
This was kind of fun
Good listen kind of repetitive but a classic
Not really for me
Classic album with a lot of great songs
This was a bit repetitive for me
Really dig this album. A lot of fun and really only peters out at the end
Not for me
Absolute banger of an album
Please let this be the last talking heads album I get. There are wayyyy too many on this list
Hard to find a bad song on this album. Pretty darn near perfect.
Great album
Not a huge reggae fan, but I can understand why people like this
Easy listen enjoyed a lot
Thought this was pretty okay. There are a lot of neil young songs that I do like, but not so much this album
Very goo
This album was rad
Hard not to like this one
Pretty tired of getting albums by the Pixies. It is a LOT of noise
Easy listen
This honestly got pretty annoying
Holy hell this was stressful. I like jazz (we have covered this in previous reviews) but this jazz needs some boundaries
Wtf absolutely not
I liked this one! Not sure if I would reach for it again but it was an enjoyable listen.
Liked this one! Reminds me of like an alt version of david bowie? Is that a hot take??
Great album. Went out and bought some Aretha Franklin on vinyl after
The more 'soul' songs at the end were nice. Everything else kind of sucked. Very 'after school special' written by someone in a completely different class than their listening demographics
I feel like there is a bowie bias going on... Dont think this needed to be on the list tbh
I can dig it
Low key a vibe
mf british white boy rap... seriously???????
Good album, would listen again
Queen has some really high highs and imo some really low lows. Dont love most of the songs on this album
Easy listen!
Good listen, would come back to
Really enjoyed this one
Super repetitive ngl
THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THIS. VERY STRESSFUL BUT GOOD
This album was an absolute vibe! Lot of songs I hadnt heard, but banger after banger sent me on an ABBA spree
This was fine. Some things were a bop others were camp
No thats okay
Mf sad boy music. Its fine? Idk something inside my bones just cant stand it
I can dig it. Lot of great songs, but also a lot of filler
I mean its kind of a bop idk maybe im just in a weird mood
Kind of love it tbh
Best post breakup album by any Beatle (along with RAM but THATS NOT ON THIS LIST FOR SOME REASON)
Sorry mom
Thats okay
Enjoyed it! Not as great as some other Stevie albums
Idk but I love it leave me alone

Got kind of old ngl, some soft boy music
Bought this on vinyl recently and it is an absolute treat. I used to not be super fond of Led Zep III, but nowadays I find this album to be fun, beautiful, and rad. Not perfect, but damn near close!
Didnt like this as much as I wanted to
no thats okay
This is a banger fr
vibin @ the discotheque

I enjoyed this one
Hmm
Kind of repetitive
Parts of this album are dated and grating. Other parts are bangers.
This is one of those albums where I get why people rate it so high. Just not for me tbh
This stressed me out ngl
This album is like having a slow panic attack
This was like... Fine... Idk why its on the list tbh
Kind of a vibe tbh
Great album. John was a bit of a cry baby at times, How do you sleep still pmo tbh
Loved this, want it on vinyl
Easy listen
Some of the songs on this album are such bangers, others are kind of repetitive
Love
Every song is a hit! Aside from 'Oh daddy' but thats not bad. This is one of the best albums made. Great listen.
why
Kind of corny ngl
STEELY DAN
stressin me out ngl
Pretty ok
Dont love rasta tbh
Rounding up to a 4. This one is a little too long but it has a lot of bangers
Enjoyed this
This was a fun listen, enjoyed it
Would get this on vinyl
Sorry mom
This is a classic
No thats okay
Fun
This genre of country is so fun and campy. Much preferred over the 'check out my truck and beer and hot sister' version of country today. Although both are still a little... ya know... Not in a bad way, its just... Take old country. These guys arent actual cowboys, right? They have so many songs about being a cowboy as if they were living in an old western. But like... they werent... Im just saying its pretty 'theater kid' to get really obsessed with basically a period piece type of content in a way that it becomes your whole personality. Dont get me wrong, its great music. New country is worse. Bunch of dudes living in the suburbs pretending they have hard lives because they just want to drink beer play with their lil trucks and wear their cute lil cowboy boots. Just kiss each other already geez. Anyway... Waylon + Willie 4 life <3
I really like disc 1 of this album. So many classics and a real showcase of all of the prime material George was holding onto in those final years as a Beatle. Most of disc 1 + all things must pass from disc 2 a 5/5 for me. But... Everything else is a 2/5 to a 3/5. There is soooo much filler and random tracks that the album really stalls out for me.
IM KIND OF INTO THIS TODAY
Love it
Damn hippies
Good album really shoots its shot in the first half then tapers out
