fave: the chain
least fave: songbird
have not heard before
favourite: la grange and have you heard?
least favourite: hot blue and righteous
had not heard before
every song sounded like turn turn turn but wasn't turn turn turn
no favourite or least favourite but enjoyed, very beatles ish
have not heard before
4 songs but 41 minutes? damn
a good time! would never had heard this without this site. really enjoyed
had only heard enjoy the silence before. enjoyed!
hadn't listened to before, enjoyed! rap isn't really my thing but i did fuck with this. a good time
have heard some of these songs before! enjoyed. one song had f slur and i was too tired to determine if it was reasonable lmao. sounds kinda like bob dylan but not?
not really for me but it got a bit silly in
parts which was fun tehe
bangers!! no skips! wow! really enjoyed this
not really my thing but enjoyed a couple of these! such clean recording for a live album. but also they all sound pretty much the same to me lol. but yeah, i can appreciate it
a great time. thoroughly enjoyed this!! will listen again
had a really good time!! more upbeat than the other bob dylan album i got, these songs sound more distinct from each other lol.
just nottttt my vibe at all. couldn’t listen. couldn’t finish
just notttttr my vibe at all. couldn’t listen. couldn’t finish
a great time!!!! knew one song already. had a lot of fun
hell yeah, loved being able to get back into the black keys. very good, very fun. album art though? where is it?
a great time. had zero idea they were an irish band. only knew boys are back in town prior to listening to this, thanks to simgstar rock. slay
some of these were great and then some were the most annoying thing i’ve ever heard. very middle of the road for me
so many bangers from one album wow!! so so 80s. such a great time
good! felt almost like musical theatre at some point. don’t think i’ll revisit but it was fine! i’m sure the lyrics are great but i did not actively listen :(
yeah fun i guess, not super memorable. one song had cool drums
a good time!! really fun! i love a (mostly) instrumental album. so fun. i loved four cornered room
havent quite finished this yet but brilliant! recognised so many songs, really enjoy
i was so shocked when i found out this was a band of white guys. i thought this was a solo Black artist. shocked. thoroughly enjoyed! bops!
had a really good time with this!! knew some already. fun
look. i’m not a metal fan. it gives me such a headache. prior to the pain in my head i was like okay focus on the guitar and drums, slay???? so fast christ?! but yeah just do not enjoy this
had fun yeah, nothing stood out to me but enjoyed
fun! already knew a couple, ms jackson of course. really enjoyed listening to the full album, unsure if i'll listen again though
this would sound really fun on vinyl i reckon. had a good time
thoroughly enjoyed this! wow. had the time to actively listen to the lyrics and was blown away. never listened to a full album of hers prior to this, really love it!
this is such middle aged woman antique shop owner core. this album would go hard at simply perfect pieces
this was definitely nothing like i'd heard before, an all instrumental rock album. was okay to listen to but nothing stood out
this was enjoyable, each song was different from the last. not much stood out for me though
okay so i don't hate metal, i just hate screamo. this was fine
this was so enjoyable to listen to. kinda childlike and silly. very fun
lots to say about this. this should have been 2 separate albums honestly, vol 1 and 2 are so so different from each other (and made it long as fuck christ). her voice is absolutely insane (we knew this but was a good reminder. what a powerhouse voice). halfway through the 'thank you (dedication to fans)' really just? feels? so weird? its a song full of voicemails left for christina about how much they love her. it feels a bit. odd. ain’t no other man, welcome, candyman and hurt are my faves.
i really enjoyed this! suprised its from the late 60s, it felt more modern than that for me. each song different but still couldnt single one out that i liked more. fun :)
the cover of this album perfectly represents how it feels to listen to it
the cover of this got me hyped, album was pretty good! some better than others but unsure if i’ll listen again
enjoyed this a lot more than the last brian eno album! the big ship hit me like a ton of bricks. christ
unreal, perfect. slayed. wow. no skip album. first song sent me into another plane of existence
delightful. a fun short album. really enjoyed this :)
fun! knew a couple songs already, didn’t get the chance to actively listen to the lyrics but i enjoyed
wow!!! this was such a great way to start the day. so good to dance to
this would be a really fun album to try and learn on drums
very not memorable and long as FUCCCCKKKKK jesus christ
i borrowed the dvd of the virgin suicides from the colac video shop when i was probably like 14 and it was super scratched and skipped entire scenes so the movie made no sense to me. this soundtrack slapped though and am going to give the movie another go
a good time! haven’t listened to the stones in a long time. had fun
super funky, very fun to listen to on a friday. loved
wooooooow i recognised so many of these songs, they’ve been sampled off pretty much every track of this album. unreal!!!!!
a modern one! fun! i had never fully listened to this album and i have historically not been a lorde fan. listening to this all the way through was delightful, i may have to give her other albums another chance <3
omg i’ve been waiting for a MJ album. finally. surprised i didn’t know all of these already!! had a great time with this
didnt actively listen to the lyrics of this, and some other reviews wrote about some homophobic + misogynistic tones so eh. easy to listen to though, jazzy feel. not a stand out
fun and ethereal! 'its not up to you' is delightful. good time but also couldnt fully take it seriously lol
i listened to this in the morning and i have already forgotten everything about it. i think i remember not enjoying the vocals. who knows
really loved this, this felt most similar to what i would listen to prior to starting this challenge. and canadian! unreal!
slayed, really enjoyed. knew a few of these already, really didnt know much about this band’s sound prior, had a great time with this
look. i still don’t like metal. i enjoyed “dirt”
so beautiful. listened to this all the way through twice, immediately after each other. wow. his voice sounded familiar then i realised this guy made the “big little lies” theme song. banger. loved this
first off let me say. fucking loved this. wow. i really love funk music it seems but this also was a strong rock album! second, this album isn't on tidal (current subscription) and wasn't on spotify either (not subscribed) so i had to resort to youtube. so it's likely that i won't listen to this again bc of the inconvenience. but this was an incredible album
'stoned to say the least' is a great time. i did save a few songs off of this but i also can't remember anything about this and i listened to it 12 hours ago
i really gotta actively listen when i get a hip hop album bc it’s way more enjoyable when i can actually understand the lyrics
really peaceful listen for my saturday
one of these songs sounded like a dolphin. so. that was cool. album not really my vibe though lol
look it wasnt bad but as i was listening i was thinking that i did not give a shit about this album. they all sounded the same. i did not find it interesting at all
i feel i didnt get the time to listen to this as actively as i should have, but from what i heard, i loved. very lovely
this one was cool. bring back talk singing
had a baller of a time with this. felt like i was in my 70s dancing in the kitchen then sipping tea on the porch. delightful
was so happy to get this one yay! half way through though i was like wait did it go onto a different album bc it was just instrumental and i was so confused. no i didnt! it was the same one. fun. i apparently had not already listened to a lot of bowie bc i only knew heroes off this album :)
classic. very young liv era album. lot of throwbacks
i've listened to rumours so many times but had never ventured outside that album for fleetwood mac so this was fun to get!!! notable faves: storms, beautiful child and tusk. (i do generally prefer the ones where stevie nicks is the main one singing...) loved this
kinda only half listened to this tbh i know at this age im not gonna like metal
absolute baller of a time with this. need to listen to more of prince
absolute banger of a time. a wonderful day was had listening to this. i then listened to almost every other radiohead album. i think i have only one left to hear for the first time. this band fucks
enjoyed some more than others, wake me up when september ends would be fun to play on drums. didn’t realise a lot of the songs were two in one lol? but yeah idk about this one
good, enjoyed, don’t remember it already
fun, neil young always consistent and a good time
this was fun for a monday, cool, funky
some of these songs are probably in the top 10 of songs you’d never wanna accidentally play out loud in public
