Popular Reviews

Master Of Puppets by Metallica

Incredible album. Thrash metal as a genre can get a little campy specially in the mid 80s. This album is different, it takes itself seriously. The production is impecable, a truly seminal piece of metal that has stood the test of time. Personally I think that Metallica never reached these heights ever again. It is their best work by far.

This Year's Model by Elvis Costello & The Attractions

Mhh it's kinda bad and very boring and repetitive. I don't get the fuss about elvis costello. Is it because the music press likes him because he represents them in some way?

Rage Against The Machine by Rage Against The Machine
Mar 02 2026

Kinda bad honestly. The album is very repetitive and the guitar production is tiny. It was like listening to one long song.

Master Of Puppets by Metallica
Mar 03 2026

Dirt by Alice In Chains
Mar 04 2026

Incredible record, tremendous vocals and instrumentals. Jerry Cantrel's riffs are amazing. Just an incredible and raw, emotional experience. It is a certified classic. I loved it.

Bossanova by Pixies
Mar 05 2026

Really liked it. It is very emotional and droning at the same time. The production is great. It feels frantic at times. A few tunes will become a staple of my beer drinking sessions. Good record.

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Mar 06 2026

I liked it. It is a very emotional record. I had never listened to any Bruce Springsteen records fully I and can get the grandiosity. It is a personal, deep rooted album made for regular folks. There is something intensely blue collar about it. I think it was great, but I don't think that it is my cup of tea personally.

Illmatic by Nas
Mar 07 2026

I really liked it. It surpassed my expectations a lot.

New York Dolls by New York Dolls
Mar 08 2026

I already liked this record. Incredible and raw piece of influential rock. Fun and sleazy.

Crosby, Stills & Nash by Crosby, Stills & Nash
Mar 09 2026

I had always heard about them but never really did. Really liked them and will listen to some more in the future.

Bryter Layter by Nick Drake
Mar 10 2026

Incredible record. I never knew or even heard about this artist. But he was amazing. A truly haunting record. A real hidden gem for me.

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Mar 11 2026

I know it is a classic record and I liked it. But honestly it was a bit underwhelming.

Aqualung by Jethro Tull
Mar 12 2026

I liked it and there were some very good parts. I get why it is a classic album. But I don't think I will listen to it again. Very good record though.

The Stooges by The Stooges
Mar 13 2026

I always liked this record and love the stooges. This record was a staple in my life when I was traversing a very rough patch. I love this record.

Celebrity Skin by Hole
Mar 14 2026

Very underwhelming. Very repetitive. The instrumentation is awful. There are two great songs but the rest is not good at all.

Le Tigre by Le Tigre
Mar 16 2026

Honestly. The worst record I have ever heard. This is so bad!

Oedipus Schmoedipus by Barry Adamson
Mar 18 2026

Very bad. I could barely finish it. I really didn't like it but not as bad as RATM and Le tigre.

Dog Man Star by Suede
Mar 19 2026

I really liked it. It was an intense, yet melancholic record.

90 by 808 State
Mar 20 2026

Really liked it! Sometimes electronic music can be a bit repetitive but this is not the case. Would recomend.

Ananda Shankar by Ananda Shankar
Mar 22 2026

I didn't like it that much honestly. The covers were very uncanny.

Back In Black by AC/DC
Mar 23 2026

Boy this was a long one. AC/DC is one of those sacred cow bands that were ubiquitous during my adolescence. I don't like them at all. This is a legendary record but it's awfuly repetitive and simplistic. It's just not my cup of tea. There are some better songs like "shake a leg" and "you shook me all night long". But if it wasn't for the challenge I would not have listened to this. It was rough!!!

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Mar 24 2026

I liked it a lot. I love this artist and I discovered it thanks to this challenge. I liked his debut album better but I really liked this one.

D by White Denim
Mar 25 2026

pretty entertaining record. I liked it. It has some impressive instrumental parts but I doubt I will listen to any of it again. Solid record.

Odessa by Bee Gees
Mar 27 2026
3 + 3 by The Isley Brothers
Mar 28 2026
Sincere by Mj Cole
Apr 01 2026

Some of the worst music I have ever listened to. Really repetitive and boring, bland. Music suited for a shopping mall or mid 90's hip café. It is awfully long. It is really, really bad. Awful choice. Is this guy the cousin of the dude making this list?

Porcupine by Echo And The Bunnymen
Apr 02 2026

Very generic, underwhelming, repetitive and kinda of a cure/bauhaus knockoff. It was bad. I couldn't really finish it.

Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin
Apr 03 2026

Great record I had already listened to it before. It is a rock classic. From top to bottom.

B-52's by The B-52's
Apr 05 2026
Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Apr 06 2026

I liked one song that I already knew. Very disjointed album. I dislike repetitive albums but this literally sounds like an album written by different bands,

Apr 07 2026

Some of the best stuff I have ever heard in this challenge. Truly inspired stuff. I don't really like this type of music but this really was great. City, country, city is gonna become a staple in my music listening, drinking fridays with my sister. It is great!

Architecture And Morality by Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark
Apr 08 2026

Some of the stuff was interesting and uncanny. I like listening to something different for once i a while. I wouldn't listen to it again though.

Apr 10 2026

At first I thought I was gonna hate it but honestly I liked almost every song. It is underwhelming in a good way.

Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Apr 14 2026
Sweet Baby James by James Taylor
Apr 15 2026

bland and boring. This list has been filled with bad stuff!!! Who made this ?

Killing Joke by Killing Joke
Apr 17 2026

pretty repetitive honestly. But not that bad.

Guero by Beck
Apr 18 2026

Super interesting record. Very eclectic and very upbeat in some parts.

I am an avid listener of black metal and I found this pretty interesting but in an experimental, yet absurd way. It is the ramblings of a mad man. It is bad, very bad.

Night Life by Ray Price
Apr 20 2026

intersting I liked it

Devotional Songs by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
Apr 22 2026

I like this type of music as I liked "Krishna temple" by George Harrison a lot and like devotional music. So I'm biased and I understand why people dislike th is,

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Apr 23 2026

what can I say. Its a masterpiece.

Only By The Night by Kings of Leon
Apr 27 2026

good album I remember this mid 2010's music from when I was young and it really gives me some nostalgia for music I didn't like at the moment.

The Clash by The Clash
Apr 28 2026

This is the best I have heard in this list so far. Amazing record I had heard some songs from it but it is 10/10 top to bottom.

May 22 2026

kinda boring

Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
May 26 2026

amazing record

May 27 2026

I don't like the beatles particularly and john lennon has always been a disgraced figure for me for many reasons. But damn, I really liked this record.

The Bends by Radiohead
May 28 2026

Honestly, I was prepared to hate this. But this is a very sympathetic record. Palatable and very honest. I don't know if radiohead will become one of my staples but I enjoyed it.

May 29 2026

Jun 01 2026

I wasn't expecting much but really enjoyed this. Great songwriting.

Blunderbuss by Jack White
Jun 02 2026

Magnificent. Loved it. Some songs are grandiose and baroque if that word can describe them. It reminds me of neil diamond and the first billy joel record. It's great.
