This album is 33 years old 0.0 This is something I find myself going back to, the songs resonate with not only my life at the time, but seem to come back into focus now. Not an album for everyone, but it's a great debut with radio hits and memorable melodies that stick around with you.

J.G. Thirlwell, a pivotal figure in the industrial music scene, is renowned for his involvement in a diverse array of projects, including Foetus, Nine Inch Nails (NIN), and F242. While Foetus, his primary musical outlet, might be considered more niche within the industrial genre, this particular album gained significant traction. Beyond his contributions to industrial music, Thirlwell has also composed music for popular animated series like The Venture Bros. and Archer, showcasing his versatility across different media. His extensive discography demonstrates a creative range that extends far beyond the confines of a single genre.
So many amazing and iconic songs on this album like "Push It," "Special," and "You Look So Fine." Shirley pours all her emotion into this album for you. And she's not messing around. It’s the real deal, so just listen up.
Surprisingly good.
strange autotune and aural distortion make this unlistenable for me.
Letdown indeed.
I don't really like hip hop in my own language, you can tell they're having fun with it though.
I understand what they're doing and why they're doing it, but the band isnt the same without David Byrne.
Porter's Worlds was amazing for me. Nurture didn't hit, or last the same for me.
this got so much air play in my youth
