I really like this. Made me feel more than I expected. How was I not an REM fan before?

A Hard Day's Night by Beatles
Sep 04 2024

Some classics but some really generic songs here too. They kind of do the same thing romance authors do, where they don’t really describe any of the women they’re talking about. It’s ok once in a while but there are so many songs in a row just about some faceless nameless girl that it’s off putting and almost seems gimmicky.

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Sep 10 2024
New Forms by Roni Size
Sep 12 2024

Halfway through the first song the influence this group has is apparent on drum and bass, dubstep, all of electronic music. It’s a little dated but obviously earns its place on this list.

How have I been sleeping on her???

Achtung Baby by U2
Nov 17 2024

I liked it better than I expected!

Technique by New Order
Nov 20 2024

Some of it I liked, but I think of all the genres that Henry, techno ages the worst. And the techno on this album is just a miss for me.

Ananda Shankar by Ananda Shankar
Nov 24 2024

Ok, I see you Ananda! The first song grabbed me in a way that the last few albums on here haven’t.

Phaedra by Tangerine Dream
Nov 26 2024

One of many albums that affirms my believe that electronic music has not aged well. Maybe pretty lights and other contemporaries will age better? This sounds like captain kirks nightmare.

Two Dancers by Wild Beasts
Nov 28 2024

It’s weird! I like the instrumental parts, vocals I feel like you have to be in a certain mood to enjoy.

At Budokan by Cheap Trick
Nov 29 2024
