Heroes
David BowieI know he is a genius. I just can’t stand the music. 2 stars
I know he is a genius. I just can’t stand the music. 2 stars
Classic. Easy 5 stars
That was painful. 1 star
It’s the Beatles. 4 stars
It’s a classic of course. Production is great and some songs are great (starman, suffragette city, five years) others feels like filler.
Life on Mars? is one of the greatest song ever written. BEst Bowie album for me. The use of piano is also top notch
Classic rock. Mix of blues and folk and rock. The mix could be clearer. 2 stars
Such a great album. So much classic songs. Slash is rocking his Les Paul, Axel is in top form. 4 stars
Great album ! 4 stars.
What an album. Great mix of folk, blues, jazz. Piano is amazing and Van Morisson voice is a delight to listen to
Well it’s Joni Mitchell. Was not a fan, still not a fan. Stories are interesting but I can’t get past the tone and rythme of her singing.
Not my style at all. Production is good. Her voice is powerful. But those lyrics are cheesy af
Well that was a surprise. Lots of classic but they have a total other feel when in context of the album. Very enjoyable
Simply a Masterpiece ! 5/5
Interesting. Guitar is very well recorded.
Feels so intimist. Dylan lyrics at its best. 3 stars
Well produce. Great rhythm section. Marvin flow is legendary. Talking about his divorce with so much truth must of been hard for him. Unfortunately, it’s not my style at all. 3 stars
Lauryn Hill as good flow. The album starts of great for the first part but it lingers a bit too long. Could have been 50-55 min instead of 80. 3 stars
Intriguing. Feels like a mix of Dylan and Billy Joel. Not a fan of the choir back vocals. 3 stars
You can hear how it influenced lots of the 80s. David Byrne may have started the whole new wave genre just by himself. I respect that. But I don’t like new wave. 3 stars
Too slow for my taste. More like elevator music.
What a great album. That voice is dreamy. Si powerful. I had chills more than one time listening to this album. Nina Simone is one of the best jazz singer of all times. 4 stars
What a storyteller. Great guitar work. The production could be better. Neil Young voice is sometimes blurry. 3 stars
This is bad. Generic. Well mixed but that’s a gimme with pop artist. Lyrically deficient. Unimaginative beats. 1 star
That’s such a personal and sincere album. Tracy Chapman is a great guitarist and a gifted lyricist. 5 stars
Weird lyrics aside this is a good metal album. Lemmy as such a raw voice. Good solos. Some songs sound the same. 3 stars
Lyrically charged. Ice cube flow is as good as ever. 3 stars
That was painful.
Not my cup of tea. Björk is weirdly in her place in that new wave/pop/humor album. Better than her later stuff. 2 stars.
Great album. Me and Bobby McGee is not even the best song on this one. 4 stars
Old country. Just ok. 2 stars
Intriguing ! It’s almost prog. Still very “exotic” for my taste but will listen again soon. 3 stars.
It feels like listening to the birth of punk yet it isn't. It feels like listening to a band that inspired the Ramones yet It came out after the Ramones debut. It feels like I would remember those songs as some are very good yet I couldn't sing one 5 minutes after it ended. 3 stars
Superb album. A true classic 4 stars
That’s a weird one. So generic yet very fun. Couple of memorable songs without great parts and a couple of forgettable songs with great bits. 3 stars
I only knew hallelujah and was quite surprise by the rest of the album. I still think that his untimely death contributed to his aura. Still it’s a decent album. 3 stars
A masterpiece !
Wow ! Never heard that album before. Quickly became one of my favorite. RZA beats are out of this world. GZA is a master of flow as always ! 5 stars
It’s not a bad album but you have to enjoy Morissey tone and flow. Kinda bland and generic. Morissey whines and is trying to sound intellectual but fails often. Also he is a racist idiot. 2 stars
Beck is so eclectic. This a great example of that. Good songs trough out but some don’t make a lasting impression. 3 stars
Classic. Simon and Gartfunkel have written a great anti-war album. 29 min for 12 song is very low for today standards. Great production. Great lyrics. Guitar works is legendary.
Few artist are able to pull off a change from acoustic to electric in the same show. Dylan can’t either. I understand why Dylan was a folk icon but I still have trouble with the over use of harmonica. He is a much better poet. 2 stars
That’s a great album. Love the guitar work. And storytelling.
That was a fun discovery. Really sets the base for what Cooder will later do in his career. 4 stars.
Oh that voice…. I’d rather have root canal without analgesics than listen to that again. 1star
The music is really interesting. Feels like prog and is genuinely very good. But the lyrics and voice kills the vibe. 2 stars
I don’t get the Smiths. Pretentious pseudo rock with a touch of disco ? And Morrissey besides being an idiot isn’t a good singer. 1 star
Bof. Some bangers but didn’t pass the test of time. 2 stars
Good album. Really gets the vibe of the era. It’s surprisingly well produced. 3 stars
It’s ok. Pretty generic edm from the era. 2 stars
Great album. Acoustic guitar is very well recorded. Lots of great political songs. 4 stars.
Great story teller. Music is fun. If you don’t read the lyrics or understand satire you will not like this album. 3 stars
That’s a masterpiece. And the 2022 Remix is bliss. 5 stars
Well that was fast. I understand why it’s a staple of punk. It’s raw, powerful and quick. But 16 min is a bit short for a whole album. 2 stars
Well that was a hard listen. It feels like 70s country music without the fun. Jump in any elevator in the US and you will hear something similar. 1 stars
I recognize the craft but it seems like it’s stuck in a loop. 2 stars
Pop but interesting 3 stars
Good for him for having pkayed all instrument. But it seems just too incoherent to me. 2 stars
That was a fun ride. 3 stars
It’s got « The Weight ». It saves the album. Very poorly mixed and mostly bland pop folk. 2 stars
Well written. Some surprising best and chief change. Fun. 3 stars
Nice Classic rock. Good guitar solo. Bass lines are fun too. 3 stars
Well, it’s country with a noisy voice. 2 stars
That was a fun ride. Surprising indeed. 4 stars
Not that great. Fits well in to the 2010ish Indie rock trend. Seems like it wants to be different but fails. 2 stars
While I’m not a fan of Lauryn Hill or Wyclef Jean as solo artists The Score is a great album. A bit of everything, different styles, different flow. A bit too long. 3 stars
Intriguing. Sounds like The Rolling Stones sometimes. Seems like a lot of riff from the 80s and 90s comes from this one. 3 stars
Classic Em. It didn’t grow up very well but it’s easy to understand why it change the hip hop scene. 3 stars
That’s a classic masterpiece. 5 stars
Sounds pretty good. Classic country from the 70s. The guy can play guitar. 3 stars.
Cool live album. Must of been a great show. 4 stars
Classic Stones. The country version of Honky Tonk Woman is fun. What a guitar line to open the album. 4 stars
Bof. Nice use of the stereo effects. 1 good song. Rest seems pretentious. 2 stars
Superb. What a voice and sense of rhythm. Also very well produced for the era. 4 stars.
Ordinary pop rock. 2 stars.
Super fun. It’s going in the rotation. 4 stars
What a voice. Very different than her subsequent work. 3 stars
That album doesn’t take itself seriously bu it should. 3 stars
What a masterpiece. 5 stars.

It’s numetal fun but nothing special. 3 stars
Easy to listen to with a couple a banger. Gets better when you give it more attention. 4 stars.
Autopsy is great. But the vocals aren’t great for the most part. 2 stars
Ouch. That was painful.

Smooth.
Went from wtf to on pretty fast. 3 stars
Great album ! Pure stoner rock !
Energetic. Doesn’t overstay its welcome. 3 stars.
Great flow but seems to overuse the same rhythm patterns. Same with the beats. 2 stars
Some nice riffs. Good production. 3 stars
Great album. Cool guitars. Great vibe. 4 stars
Birth of he disco. I hate disco. 2 stars

Classic Elvis. Without super hits. 5 stars.
Great voice ! Nice guitars.4 stars

Production is bad. Lyrics are boring. Guitar ain’t bad when it’s doing something different, so not often. 1 stars
It’s joy division. Not bad per se but not my cup of tea. 2 stars
They don’t call him the king of pop for nothing. Too bad he turned out to be awful human being. 3 stars

Boring 80s rock. 2 stars.
That’s a nice album. Guitar is very nice. The voice well it’s the voice. Very well produce. 4 stars
Well it’s the 80s and not on the good side or the 80s. 2 stars
Classic album. Beck is showing his great talents on every song. 4 stars.
5 stars. Precursor of so many metal genres. It’s a staple of how to write great riffs and of how doom metal should be made.
Eclectic bunch. You can feel they are having fun. A mix of a bunch of genres, unfortunately they are not very good at a bunch of them. Still enjoyable. 3 stars.
Good voice. Good songs. 3 stars
Not bad
Well it’s a classic. Doesn’t mean it’s any good. 2 stars
Nice mix of metal and dance. Never thought I’d say that. 3 stars

There is a reason why the stone are still touring. They are a great rock band. This album is one of their best work. Listen to those guitars. 5 stars
Now that’s prog ! I’m not a fan of Geddy Lee’s voice but the musicianship of the three together is mesmerizing. Listen to that drum ! 5 stars
Weirdly good experience. It's sad and yet you feel compeled to listen to it more in depth. 4 stars

American Sex Pistols. While the production of Joan Jett makes it feel like a live album, it doesn't hold up to todays standard. And that voice is atrocious. 2 stars
Modern classic 5 stars.
Another easy 5 stars by the Beatles. It’s interesting to hear all the influence on this one. While the lyrics are so so the music is truly groundbreaking for its time.
Weirdly nice album. Was surprised but not put off by it. All good musician. Production leaves some to be desired. 3 stars.
If you like repetitive agressive boring music that might be for you. But be aware that they do nothing of those thing quite well. 1 stars
Great album once again by Radiohead. 4 stars
Paul Simon is a great signer song writer and Graceland is his iconic solo album. Now it's just not for me as I don't enjoy the synth or the backing vocals. 3 stars
A bit too long but that was fun. 3 stars
Well it started well with great funk beats and guitars.... then we got the pretention papa was a rolling stone. Clearly doesn't need a 12 min runtime. And then s*it hits the fan... do woop balads ? hell nah. 2 stars
Easy 5 stars
I’d rather get myself papercuts and drown them in vinegar than listen to this again.
Great album. While Neil young voice is particular after a while, the rest of the band and the different textures of this album makes it an easy listen. 4 stars
well it's 1959 country. We are past that and it's for the best. 1 stars
Not bad even if it’s all over the place. 3 stars
Great dance album.
