Cool concept album with funny ads spaced throughout.

Solid experimental album. Enjoyed listening. The only drawback was that none of the songs were very memorable, besides their length.

Great metal album. Surprisingly upbeat, but amazing all-around. It really shows off Judas Priest's musicality.

Great opening track. Other than that, kind of boring. A lot of the songs seem like they revolve around the title, and all the lyrics and music seem somewhat non-fitting for each other.

Amazing album. Considering I don't listen to rap, this was a very enjoyable album. Considering that, I loved this album as much as my favorite rock albums. It's hard to state how much I enjoyed this album. I loved the sampling (especially 'When the Levee Breaks') as well as the lyrical sound. Overall, the whole album is a masterpiece of rap, rap-rock and hip-hop.Personal favorites are Fight for Your Right and No Sleep Till Brooklyn. That riff in NSTB is absolutely killer, along with the guitar solo (actually played by the Slayer guitarist).

Nice album, but some of the songs just seemed really messy and none of them were very novel or catchy.

Terrible album, even considering that I hate country.

I can understand why many people would dislike this album. However, for the genre, it is a really accessible and all-around enjoyable listen.

All-around great grunge/alt-rock album. Jimmy Chamberlain's drums easily bring out one of the best drum performances ever in rock, and Billy Corgan's vocals really shine through, with some of the greatest grunge writing ever, although his voice is a little bit of an acquired taste. Particularly I thought Tonight, Tonight, Jellybelly and Bullet With Butterfly Wings (which was easily my favorite) were really amazing tracks. And for a 2-hour runtime, this album does a great job of not being boring or repetitive.

Although occasionally very strangely syncopated with the vocals and music, this was a very pleasurable listening experience, and this has definitely ought to be one of the greatest late-90s albums.

Amazing album all-around. The songs really flow smoothly into each other and paint a compelling story together. It was all very atmospheric and emotional, with amazing guitar work by Gilmour on songs like Another Brick in the Wall Parts 1 & 2 and Comfortably Numb. Waters' bass also really shined through to support Nick Mason's incredible atmospheric drums and Richard Wright's keyboards.

Superstition is a great track, but aside from that, the rest of Stevie's work is somewhat boring.

The production quality really shines through on this album, a testament to George Martin. The songwriting was also very exceptional, as well as musicality (especially Ringo Starr's drums). However, the majority of the album felt very boring and not noteworthy, so I would give this a 4.5 if I could. Favorite tracks: Come Together, Maxwell's Silver Hammer, Octopus' Garden and Golden Slumbers.

Great industrial album with intense political commentary.

This was an all-around great album. Amazing synth sound that really brings out the vocals and bass. And the songs are all incredibly catchy. Easily one of the greatest pop records of the 2010s.

A very enjoyable album to listen to, notably the opening track, Among the Living. Great album overall.

Was not expecting such a wide variety of music in a salsa album, but I was pleasantly described by the melodies, harmonies and musicianship.

Wow. This was an amazing album all-around. It kicks off with a bang with "Them Bones," which is easily one of the most powerful album openers that instantly sets the tone for the rest of the album (rivaled only by the likes of bands like Nirvana, Led Zeppelin and Ramones), and does it start out with a huge opener. The immediate "Ahhs!" backed by the rhythmic strumming of Jerry Cantrell's guitar is really powerful, and the band's versatility really shines through with the 7/4 section during the guitar solo. The next several songs are more emotional, but still hard hitting, especially "Rain When I Die" and "Down in a Hole." Then it reaches "Rooster"- an emotional masterpiece that really rocks out and is an amazing listening experience. Then AIC continues that energy through the next 5 songs until it reaches "Angry Chair." Although I am not sure of its meaning, I really enjoyed the song, and it culminates in the masterpiece "Would?" In this song, both Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrell sing, which makes for a really cool sound, working in tandem with the stellar bass from Mike Starr and the drum groove from Sean Kinney. Overall, Alice In Chains really brought their A-game to Dirt, and it shows with incredible musicianship and songwriting. Favorite tracks: Them Bones, Down in a Hole, Rooster, Angry Chair and Would?

Great album all-around. Ritchie Blackmore and Jon Lord really bring it together.

A great album overall. I can see what the Heads were trying to do, but I feel like it was a little too experimental.

Good album all-around, with exceptional guitar work by Keith Richards and great drumming by Charlie Watts. I like the Rolling Stones, but this was not my favorite overall showing of their prowess, as I felt the songs were a little bit repetitive (especially Mick Jagger), but it was an enjoyable listen. I would give this album a 4.5/5, but, since I would only give two of the songs a 5/5 (Brown Sugar and Wild Horses), I'll give this a 4/5.

Wonderful album! This was probably the 10th or so time I've listened to it, but it was even better than before. I started listening to Nirvana a couple years ago, and, while I really like the raw aggression and power, this unplugged version did a great job of showcasing Kurt's songwriting abilities and the musicality within their songs. Favourite tracks: About a Girl, The Man Who Sold the World, Pennyroyal Tea and Where Did You Sleep Last Night?

Solid album all-around, as depressing yet upbeat as I would expect from a Doors album. Top tracks: Roadhouse Blues and Peace Frog.

I have loved all of Beck's albums so far, on and off of the list. The best part about them is that you never know what's coming next. This was a very good and enjoyable listen.

I've always loved Metallica, but somehow never listened to this album in full. And WOW- every song from Enter Sandman to The Struggle Within (the whole album) is an absolute banger! I can understand where some people come from that Metallica was appealing to the mainstream, but why would a true fan of the band dislike it if their music that they make a living on suddenly becomes popular? 5/5

When I listen to R.E.M., I know I will positively enjoy it, and the same was true for this album. It starts very mellow, with great songs such as 'Drive' and 'Try Not to Breathe,' and then progresses into some of their greatest work, like 'The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonite' and 'Nightswimming.' 5/5

Great album with a huge blend of styles. But, in the commercial sense, was Elton John thinking when he started the album with the 11-minute prog rock "Funeral for a Friend?"

Our House is a good song. The rest is somewhat mid.

Great blend of rock, folk, acoustic, and blues. Top Songs: Immigrant Song, Friends, Since I've Been Loving You, Brown-a-Yur Stomp.
