1001 Albums Summary

This came out when I was in my mid 20s. GNR were huge. Many good songs especially Sweet Chill of Mine and Paradise City.

This album was not my vibe. I found it very boring

Not my vibe but I thought this album was good and well done. A good listen

Total Cure-like 80s vibe band. Very basic songs but ok. I don’t recall them or any of their songs

This was a really good heavy metal album. Big hits off of this one. I had thought they were from Germany but they’re from the UK.

This is an iconic album not just a reggae album. It came out at a time (1977) when disco and glam rock were at their height and punk was on the horizon. The music spoke to the times. I was planning to see Bob Marley in 1981 but he passed away at 36 before his tour reached UMass.

Interesting album. I didn't know what to make of it. Was it electric, punk, alternative, or what. Very listenable and enjoyable.

A bit too angsty for me.

Classic 1985 punk! I really enjoyed the album. I was fun. A lot of Bowie influences.

I’m a big Neil Young fan. His second album had a couple of great songs. Cinnamon Girl, Down by The river and Cowgirl in the Sand. But overall this was slow and not too memorable
