peak britpop. wonderwall overrated and overplayed, champagne supernova a rightful classic

Not a 10/10 but it has some of the best individual bangers in the entire LCD Soundsystem discography

not my favorite style of songwriting but the guitar playing is pretty undeniable

what do you even say about an album as singular and iconic as this one? even 50 years later, nothing else sounds like it.

one of the all time jazz fusion albums. when 'in a silent way' hits 13 minutes, good god. i dont throw the word genius around lightly but miles was one of them

shes got a nice voice and the songwriting is competent but nothing really feels like, sticky, for me

Really fun album, bridges the gap between old school ska and punk so well. You *Really* hear that Elvis Costello influence on some of these songs

perfect length for an album, basically the only song that isnt 100% a banger to me is 'welcome to the machine', just a perfect gorgeous album

a great hip hop album! a little too long, i think dan the automator gets the pacing a little bit better on the deltron albums

really cool, early elements of trip hop in “I Am Stretched on Your Grave"; i think i actually prefer the Prince version of Nothing Compares 2 U

some very solid songwriting but absolutely not my thing

Only contains a good handful of the most iconic songs ever written!

Went in with very minimal expectations and ended up very satisfied. Some excellent songwriting, folksy but with just a bit of edge

*the* bossa nova album. Easy listening, doesn’t feel groundbreaking but that’s with 60 years of musical tradition building upon it

not totally my "thing" but its pretty undeniable for what it is as a canonical entry in the goth rock canon

Are you experienced has a couple of songs I probably wouldn’t go out of my way for but also has like 3 or 4 of the most iconic songs in the rock and roll canon

Interesting album, not really connecting for me beyond being interesting and general competent but I do feel like it makes sense that this is on the list. Also regrettably too long

i enjoyed this one a lot mostly on virtue of its just being fairly straightforward and listenable, surely not high art but not without its merits
