Haunting. Familiar. Wholesome.
Relentless. Consistent. Radge.
Odd. But not unpleasant.
Harmonies. Storytelling. Nostalgia. Took me back to the living room floor with headphones on.
Don’t care what Mike thinks, Pulp are cool.
Too many of these sound like a bad Elvis impersonator. But I still like it.
More consistently enjoyable than Elvis in Memphis.
Didn’t do much for me 1st time around. Had to listen to it twice. Sounded like the strokes but more fun. Good energy.
I’ve got this. I like it, but I don’t LIKE it.
.... nope
Got it on.
Used this as going to sleep music for about a year. So ingrained on my subconscious that I actually really like it.
Tame?
Took me ages to find the explicit filter settings to give this a proper listen.
Weird one. Liked the music but first thought the content was a bit cringe. Then it grew on me. Heartbreaking at times, especially with the spoken interludes. Lost one and the other side stood out.
A little forgettable?
Listened to it a day late on a Sunday and glad I did. Perfect lazy Sunday listening. Completely forgettable though...
Not great. Sounded like play school lyrics.
Oooh it’s complex.
Mumbly.
Not on my watch.
Dad would have loved this one.
Yeah I like. More listens.
Right up my street.
Always got time for a bit of Brian.
Alright I suppose.
Nothing special.
Love this. Feel daft for missing it originally. I think jo whiley put me off. This is ace. I feel smarter listening to it. Layered multilingual vocals. Beats. Reverb. Class.
Didn’t move me. Nice to cook to.
I love Belle & Sebastian.
Upsetting.
Will listen more. Reminded me of arcade fire.
Recognised more from this one but preferred Iggy’s other entry on this list.
Not a fan of his vocals. Like some of the storytelling though.
Never liked his voice to be honest. A few familiar, catchy tracks. Not a big fan though.
Not great.
Mostly like.
Alright. Nostalgic. Nothing really special.
Didn’t like it at first, but grew on me slowly. Often found myself wishing the best bits would last longer though.
