Diamond Life
SadeI'm sure this is really well crafted and she's got a wonderful voice but it's just not for me, Clive

Listened while working so a load of the lyrics went right past me, I would concentrate harder on this with a relisten. But in terms of the music composition this is a great album. Two all timer REM tracks on it as well (It's The End Of The World As We Know It and The One I Love).
Great album, love the soundscapes and some of the lyrics are brilliant. Bittersweet Symphony is obviously an all timer but I'm not sure there's a bad song on here
Good album, I imagine at the time some of this would have been pretty groundbreaking. Hard to ding it for anything but not sure how often I'll be coming back

Starting to hear bits of what they would become, too many of them are a bit bland by the standard of The Beatles. I always forget how good their voices actually are!
Brilliant album but Christ, Marvin was horny. The final track is absolutely devastating
Would have been great live in a tiny bar
Okay but quite easy to drift in and out of
Never really tried George before but really enjoyed this. Read about how controversial it was at the time; nowadays it seems so tame. Very 80s production coded too
Sorry Stevie not one of your best for me
Perfectly listenable but unfortunately they all kinda sound the same. Rio is a banger though
All sort of blended together as one
Very good stuff. Chrissy Hynde's voice is brilliant
Clearly very good, unfortunately got distracted by work so didn't appreciate it as much as I could have
Bob is clearly the best to ever reggae
Really unique album and I just love a hip hop drum beat
Blue Mountain Ridge is amazing, aside from that, I found this a bit bland
Really nice surprise this one. Didn't realise they were this bluesy
What a banger. If I wasn't being given another album I would probably just go back through it again
Shite
Can see how it influenced others but a bit too scattershot for me to truly enjoy it
Really good stuff Curtis
Expected this to be very glum and slow but was really full of life
Very very strange
Cracking voice, not sure it did quite enough for me to properly love it
Dunno if this counts as Dad Rock but call me Dad because this Rocks
Not David's best. CBA with Eno's bullshit
Never heard anything like this. Obviously has to be listened to in a certain situation or it doesn't work, but this hit me at the exact right time
Incredibly effecting stuff
