Two favourited songs.
Not my thing.
Champagne Supernova is a good song (by far my favourite on the album), yet overall I'm...meh. Maybe Oasis was overplayed on the radio. Or maybe I really do prefer Blur.
Uplifting.
Unremarkable (to me)
Mildly funky
For some reason this just left me with a Paranoid earworm.
Country rock definitely not my thing.
A classic.
Perfectly cromulent metal.
An 80s classic.
Couple of good tracks
Title track (as great as it is) is the only notable track
There are some great tracks in the shadow of the title track.
Minus one star for being exhausting to listen to for any length of time. But plus one star to recognise its contribution to basically creating a new genre of music.
His best album, IMO.
One of his better 60's albums
Practically a cover band.
Slightly less mainstream than I was expecting. Hard to separate the music from the person though.
Ugh, the abundance of gun culture.
Unexpectedly more experimental sound art than industrial music. But I dig it.
I kinda wanna listen to Jeff Buckley now.
*shrug*
Possibly my favourite Radiohead album.
A hidden gem.
A bangin' album, and I'm not even into rap.

Common is a good way of describing it.
I definitely could not listen to more than half an hour of this at a time.
I was expecting to recognise more than one song...
Suedehead by far the best track on the album.
I'd give it 3.5 stars if I could.
Hopefully their best album is also in this list...
39 minute albums seem short these days. Surely you could've squeezed one more song onto side A and still be shorter than the B side :P
Meh.
Commercial radio fodder.
No notes.
3.5 stars.
2.8 stars?
62 minutes of guitar noise and screaming. I clearly still haven't recovered from my sister playing this nonstop in 1987.

2.9 stars. Only one notable track.
Notable for early Janis Joplin. 3.2 stars.

A bit noisy for my tastes. 2.5 stars. 😅
Finishes on a banger. 3.1 stars.
Not bad, but also tending toward unremarkable. 2.5 stars.
Much energy. 3.1 stars.
Unremarkable. 1.5 stars.

Surely there are plenty of other Depeche Mode albums more worthy for this list?

2.8 stars. Cromulent 70's folky Neil Young.
Quite eclectic. 2.6 stars.

2.5 stars (subtracting half a star due to being subjected to this (along with Def Leppard) endlessly in the 80's)
If only spotify wasn't missing half the tracks

An instrumental version of this album would be worth 1.5 more stars.

Some interesting songs! 3.5 stars
Meh.
A bit cringe. Another example where instrumental versions would be an improvement.
Why are there so many Deep Purple albums on this list?
Meh

Unremarkable. 2.5 stars
Nothing wrong with it, just not my thing.

A couple of good songs...but 2.5 stars.

So many Arcade Fire albums on this list. 🤔
Dear record companies, please stop reissuing the same album with different tracks on it. No love, me.
Very listenable given the genre.
Overrated.
