Already a favourite album!
This is why I started this whole endeavour. Absolutely not the kind of thing I would normally listen to but it’s good.
Fascinating how you can hear the foundations of so much music that followed.
Saw her live in February. A true original!
This was huge when it first came out, but I didn't really get what the appeal. Thirty years later and... same.
It’s kind of okay but totally unmemorable.
Not really my kind of thing, but you can see how influential it was. Happy to have had the excuse to listen to it!
Surprised by how much I lied this!
The lyrics are quite clever but I’m not into country and this is… very country.
Not really my thing, but at least it's fun and doesn't take itself too seriously.
This is a challenging one to rate given his, er, proclivities. Score is based purely on the music and its impact. It’s a bit too mechanical and the lyrics are weird, but they’re all catchy and memorable.
This is an odd choice of album. I’m not convinced it’s his best work.
She’s amazing… but it’s really not my thing!
