highlight: i wanna be adored. lame and obvious answer but what did you expect. i also liked elizabeth my dear despite being very short :( and shoot me down. back half was better than front half but maybe i was just getting more into it as it went on. lowlight: this was a solid album nothing too bad but nothing like life changing i don’t think. possibly a grower, would listen again. made of stone was my least favourite but again it was still alright i just didn’t like the instrument it was a bit eurovision-y i think. fool’s gold was also not great it drags on. but overall good stuff

foo fighters my nemeses… gets two stars because one of the songs was ok but i am not willing to relisten to find out what song it is

2 stars ugh it’s fine i guess i just find coldplay so incessantly bland boring and annoying i don’t get why they’re so popular it’s all the same piano and guitar chords with nonsense lyrics it’s so inoffensive i have nothing else to say

this is really 4.5 but this platform hates me (i love a ten point scale) i love this album but loses half a star for being a bit samey it sounds so good though very enjoyable

they really put the orchestral in orchestral rock i liked a lot of the riffs but then the singing i was not as much of a fan of

it’s such a classic but also the songs are too long they’re good but i’ll look up and it’s still going 💔💔 but ofc prince is prince

i enjoyed this actually i really liked common’s rapping style and the themes in especially a song for assata were super interesting. reminding me to brush up on my black american communist history actually. but probably not something i’d keep going back to.

The best soul album I’ve listened to which is not a super high bar but I still did enjoy it very much

Weather to fly was surprisingly decent but the majority of this truly was just Coldplay who I hate. It’s like they’re doing a bad Radiohead impression the whole way through.

this style of music is to folk what metal is to punk. it sounds kind of similar but it’s a bit baseless and the lyrics are nonsense. it’s fine but it lacks substance

this is like a funny joke after my last review lol. i feel the same about metallica as i do about def leppard although to a lesser extent. it’s just commercial noise with no meaning or substance. metal is just apolitical punk. it’s shit.

This is a classic and it is good but a little bit samey. Also anything under thirty minutes should not count as an album

decent stuff but not particularly memorable. pavement is certainly ahead of their time though i always assume they’re 2010s not 90s

this was pretty good pj harvey is consistently great

this was good in the way where you know something is good but it doesn’t fully click. the back end bumped it up to four instead of three though.

this was pretty good but doesn’t live up to the more famous stuff. also as far as i can tell the white supremacy wasn’t reflected in the album itself but the knowledge of the thin white duke persona did have a slight effect on my enjoyment
