1001 Albums Summary

One of my favorite album of all time. I'm a huge Jethro Tull fan. Ian Anderson is such a talented artist. Nothing else to say : Masterpiece!

A world appart. Classic jazz album that make you travel into deep area of your brain. A bit long but still satisfying.

I guess Dave Navarro slept with someone who did this list, because there's no way this album is in the top 1001...

Not my favorite from the band. Good classic rock album with catchy singles. It's deserve to be in top 1001 for sure!

Great album that merge a lot of musical genre. Some time, theres a pink floyd vibe, some time Brian Eno feel or even some downtempo from the 90s. Cant wait to watch the movie.

All the key element were there so that I love this album but unfortunatly it didnt impress me like I thought it would...Too generic, not enough creative if you listen to a bit of world music..

I always love Joan Baez voice from the day I first heard it. Amazing folk artist, I could listen to her over and over again. Such an inspiration for a lot of great artist. Legend.

I'm not the biggest Jazz connoisseur, but I'm rarely disapoint when I listen to a classic album, especially when it come to Miles Davis.

Guilty pleasure. It's nice to know that world music was part of a mainstream album. I love it, but I cant really explain more than that. Just a cool vibe.

It's ok in a best of or a playlist but the whole album is a bit long..

What the ****. Almost fall asleep in my car, after the begining of each song I was already mad that I still need to endure another 6minutes or even more.. BORING, there's a small portion of me that maybe able to understand why someone in the 90's would have like it, but being a fan in 2022 mean that you're a psycho

I needed that his morning. Cocteau Twins are such talented artist. Album is really interressing, I migth listen to it one more time just to feel the atmosphere.

Huge fan of the MAN, The Byrds, CSNY were some of my first records and I listen to them again & again. Nice album overall, just fellgood as we're use with those guys.

Another nice dig. Cool post punk stuff. Bjork voice is really nice. I will give an ear on their others albums and more related stuff

Doesnt feel that original now, but at the time I guess they were pioneer of the punk genre. Great album, but all songs felt a bit the same. I liked it, but I'm still really attached to others bands in Punk/Post-Punk.

I use to be a huge fan of Coldplay, now I think they sound a bit catchy and are a bit too intense. But I would still be willing to see them in a arena show. Couple hits, the emotion arent there for me anymore...I'm getting old.

I understand why people did so much cocaine in the 90's...So speedy, too stressfull for me. Second half is better & slower, but meh...

Interesting gem of hip-hop. I really dont know that much of that genre, so I'm not the best judge, but I found it different than the usual 90's hiphop. It's seem like there was more research and they went to some area that suprise me. They took inspiration from jazz, rock and merge it well.

"There Is a Snake in My Boot!" How can you listen to this man and not think about woody and buzz all the time. A voice that remind me so many great memories, but other than that it's not that special. Every song feel the same.

I listen to this album a couple times a month since it's one of my GF top album. I was waiting for it in this 1001 top. Incredible voices and amazing songwriting.

It seems like the author of this book just google french singer, then randomly click on a live album and select this one for the book. It just a basic show that was record, nothing that stand out and that really gave the credit that Brel deserve.

Neil Young as so many albums close to perfection, this one is slighty under some of his masterpiece, therefore it's a 4 for me. But I still enjoy it.

I dont know why, but I really like Chicago. I listen to them often and like to scream their songs. A lot of catchy rythm. Unpopular opinion, but they know how to blend genre and produce hits.

I dont really know hiphop so each album in the 1001 is almost a discovery for me. This one was really good. I would like to enjoy it in a car roadtrip or during a bbq.

Probably the worst The doors album, still their worst is beyond most rock album. Jim Morisson voice and oresence step up this record.
